Summary
When darkness looms over the world, the weakest humans can only entrust their protection to those they consider superior, to those men capable of venturing into the densest fog and the deepest forest to fight against the evil that threatens them.
The coexistence between witches and humans had always been peaceful, so much so that it was based on mutual assistance. Until one day, that changed. One of the kings of the wealthiest kingdom in the region was attacked by the prince of the witches, seeking to expand his territory (or so they thought), but his plans were thwarted by the knights of the guard. Still, he managed to escape, wounded, but he escaped.
Since that tragic day, the harmonious peace between the human and witch kingdoms ended. Humans were forced to create witch hunter squads, and the witches were condemned to hide forever in the depths of their forested realms.
For Oikawa, this was the downfall of his species; for Iwaizumi, the perpetuation of his own.

Oikawa is nine when he first hears the word. The boys on the playground whisper it like it's dirty, like the way they daringly mutter the word fuck and then look over their shoulders to check their parents hadn't heard.
"You know Abe-kun from class?" they snicker, hands cupped around their mouths like they're passing along a filthy secret. "I hear his older brother is... gay."

Summary
Spock gets a small golden-haired, blue-eyed creature as a gift from his father (except he doesn't). The creature speaks in his nurse's Secret Language, appears to be convinced that Spock is an "elf" and calls itself "Jim." Utterly fascinated, Spock decides to keep it.
