Summary
Grandpa, still smiling with hints of affection and pride at his son, spoke up. “She's a prodigy, just like you, Light.” Mom hugged her daughter tightly.
“Ah! I'm so proud of my little girl! She's doing great in kindergarten, she's well-mannered and courteous, she's also good at drawing... and she even plays the piano!”
After a few seconds, mom broke away to hug dad. Hikaru watched the scene in confusion, noticing her father's grimace, which disappeared as soon as he met her eyes.
“Light. You're really lucky to have a family like that.” Her grandfather nodded at his own statement, followed by his younger colleague, who exclaimed, almost sobbing. “I think I'm going to cry!”
The afro-haired man cupped his eyes in exasperation. “Oh my God, Matsuda, don't start!”
Or: what if Light and Misa had a daughter after L's death?

Summary
Naruto froze, feeling a shiver run down his spine. He would never admit it, never, ever, but he was afraid. Afraid of not being accepted. Something inside him, a little voice, kept telling him. He ignored it every single time.
He silenced it because he was sure that he would become so strong that the village would have no choice but to accept him, that they would have to rely only on him. So, Naruto smiled confidently and said to Mizuki, who was on the verge of fainting: "I will become Hokage! No matter what!"
Before passing out, however, the chunin made no effort to get up, he didn't even try, he simply spoke. "The Nine-Tails' jinchūriki becoming Hokage...? What a joke..."
Naruto's eyes widened, deeply shocked, whispering a faint, "What...?" Mizuki had fainted in front of him, but that didn't stop Naruto from snapping at Mizuki loudly: "What the hell are you talking about?! You..."
The Nine-Tails' jinchūriki? The Kyuubi? The demon who had killed all those people? It was inside... him?
Or: What if Naruto wasn't found by Iruka in the forest, the first chapter, but by another ninja of Konoha?
