When her mother said that, Lilith thought that maybe she could soar above Hyrule like she always wanted to, when she was smaller, before the mark was burned into her hand forever, before the Sword chose her, before her home erupted into ash and she lost her father.
But fate was cruel, the goddesses more so, and she had learned that death was the only entity that was ever kind to her. She even knew his name, and unfortunately his rotting face and gambling problem.
But she didn't think her new quest to stop evil would include nine other heroes and a dark entity traveling through time.
But fate was an odd thing, and strings overlapped when she didn't want them to.

Summary
Chased by monsters, the Heroes of Time and Legend don’t have any other choice than to jump. The road out of the water is long and slow and definitely not without danger. All’s fine and dandy for the Veteran but not so much for the Chain’s leader whom very much regrets having NOT had the masks with him.

"Yeah." Wild swallowed thickly, forcing bile down his throat.
"Well?" Legend raised an impatient eyebrow, and Wild turned away. How was he going to explain this? He'd told them virtually nothing of his journey. How was he supposed to convey how terrible this situation was? That the Blights had been revived.
"Come on. We're heading towards Zora's Domain."A gang-meets-Wild fic with an actual plot (I think). Featuring a Wild who's a tad more secretive about his journey.

There isn't much he wants in this world. Wild is happy where he is, wandering with no memory nor identity. He doesn't know anything about his past life, and doesn't care to ever find out. All he needs is the forest, inhabited by spirits and trees, and Twilight's ranch.
Until one day Twilight doesn't come, and suddenly everything changes. Time is running out, has been for a long time now, and the failures of his past find him.
All Wild wants is to find Twilight and go back home.

The two whirl around to face a Time who is doing what Hyrule thinks he might do even better than wield that massive sword he has strapped to his back; giving a neutral yet ultimately disapproving look to the man behind them.

An incident in a dungeon kills Time- or they thought it did. Instead Time is split into two halves, a deity with Time's markings and a red-eyed shadow. The Chain attempt to figure out how to return Time to his true state while dealing with the newly dubbed 'Marked' and 'Shadow', one of which has a bad attitude and the other is somehow even more detached than Time's usual self. The Chain struggles without their leader but struggle emotionally with the loss of their father figure replaced by a demon and a deity.

The group made their way over to the two Hylians, where the individual they had rushed to save was conversing with the newcomer. The newcomer was heavily scarred on his left side, and from the bow on his back, he was the archer who had brought down many of the monsters.
“Hello,” Time said, as he nodded to them. “Could you point us toward Castle Town?”
The scarred man blinked. “Nanda?”
…
The Heroes of Courage are spread across ages. Hundreds to thousands of years between them. It should come as no surprise that they are having some trouble communicating. But when they’re dropped in a world of alien technology and a language wholly unfamiliar, they really wish Hylia had thought ahead.
Or, the gang-meets-wild fic in which there is an appropriate amount of linguistic drift between Links, Hylia does not provide Google Translate, and Wild is a linguaphile among other things.
