Summary
Dabi had a very bad habit of pushing people. He didn't really concern himself with it, he's always more than ready to step up if someone tries to push back. Pushing at his bratty boss was really par for the course. He knew that Shigaraki was starting to lose his patience but he was pretty sure he'd be able to burn him before he got dusted. He didn't expect to find himself nearly naked, suppression collar around his neck, and chained alone in a cell instead. Didn't know that there was a real monster sitting under the boss's skin.
Never wanted to know how far someone would have to push him before he wouldn't even recognize himself any more.

What if it can hear me?
The thought stops me in my tracks. Maybe it can. Maybe it can hear six times as well as I can. I focus, attuning myself to the feedback through the hull arms. I suddenly need to know with an intensity that borders on maniacal.
The alien is near the portal, presumably focusing on the construction. My hearing catches shades of it moving, the shape indistinct in the staggeringly diffuse atmosphere it apparently prefers. The thin air distorts my hearing even further still, but I can manage to get a shaky read of it.
It doesn't seem to be doing much beyond waiting. Just to see what happens, I slam my arms (fingers closed) as hard as I can on the closest surface and twist two forearms in greeting.
Nothing. It does not seem to react at all. If it can hear me, it is being incredibly stoic about it.
hands down the best rocky pov i have encountered thus far. i've only read chapter one - i don't know if the alien egg sex will work for me - but i have to save this. for both the sensory detail and rocky's extremely-not-doing-well baseline emotional state stranded alone in space
