thank you so much for reading this! i'm glad you liked it! i'm also glad that you liked the subtlety of the ship - i didn't want to jump into anything too soon - and i had the scene where miya texts kageyama at the ending in mind when i was writing this whole thing, hoping that the start of a text conversation could be a springboard into a deeper friendship (sadly over distance) which can be expanded upon once we have more canon details! like, for example, which prefecture/school miya's from! when i wrote this i just picked osaka at random (hence the area code in his phone number), and i wonder what it would be like... long distance friendship --> lovers aHA END ME. at least i can hope to see miya again at nationals :')
