What I read to get inspired to write again
My own personal collection of stuff that inspires me to get back into writing, or how to write particular elements in my own story.
I dedicate this virtual shrine to all the badass authors, none of whom I have ever met before, but who nonetheless managed to rip out my heart and manipulate it like a lil voodoo doll while I'm reading their works <3Y'all inspire to keep going in spite of dealing with life. I hope one day I can rank my own writing among any of yours

Summary
Arthur gave Merlin his cloak thinking only of the warmth it would offer in a snowstorm. He never thought his manservant may be mistaken for him and snatched by bandits. Nor did he expect his dashing rescue of Merlin to turn his world so utterly on his head.
Because the bandits hadn't kidnapped a prince. They'd snatched a sorcerer, and now captivity is the least of anyone's problems.
A golden age awaits, but can they claim it together, or are they doomed to fail?

The writing here is impeccable; my poor darling Merlin?? Yet still such a badass? I'm loving all the characters pls I see the community
This feels like Marlin BBC if all the lore and loose ends were tied up in a neat little bow and dropped at my door. Like I literally am seeing the scenes so vividly. I'm feeling incredibly spoiled rn with the amount of concepts and themes in this one fic.
Scheduling an annual re-read of this is a must for my mental health or more so the undoing of. I just finished reading and I already miss this universe ur honor.
