Children’s hair sometimes changes color as you grow. When he’s young enough for it not to be unusual, but old enough to know he’ll get in trouble for doing something ‘freakish’ again, Harry's hair goes from his father's dark locks to his mother's bright, most-likely-magical red hair.
It changes everything about who he identifies with, who he wants to grow up to be, and who he thinks he is. Instead of having James Potter as his idol, Lily turns out to be a much better influence.
So instead of seeing a scruffy, most-likely-muggleborn boy standing beside him in Madam Malkin's before their first year, Draco only has eyes for the scarlet-haired, green-eyed creature who just walked into his life. Aleta Ogord, Ravager Captain, second only to the admiral of the fleet her estranged husband, loves exploring new planets. Or new areas of old planets in search of something new. Terra surprises her more than most planets do. This time though she's gotten a little more than she thought was possible.
Ravagers don't do kids, but she can't just leave the little one out in the cold under a bush.

Summary
Death was not what Harry thought it would be. An empty train and a being proclaiming himself to be the Death, telling him that, “sorry, no afterlife for you” certainly wasn't anywhere near his expectations.
And having his soul and magic crammed back into his four year old body, being told that he can never die… That was another painful kick to the groin.
But Harry is British, and the phrase “keep calm and carry on” is practically a part of him by now. He realises that this is a second chance at life. To actually live and do whatever the hell he wants without being someone else’s pawn. It is a new beginning, and things are going to be vastly different this time around.
