Ever since ( she ) was a kid, ( Carla ) had always been rather rowdy and playing with her big ( brother ) when they were alone,with the black haired ( boy’s ) mother marrying ( her ) father when the two were babies so the two were step-siblings
With ( Carla ) being a more jock type and ( Jonah ) being a rather small kid despite being the older of the two by a few years,in school the two went separate ways with one being sweet but a bit meat headed then one being more quiet with a slight temper; Once out of school,( Carla ) took a construction job and ( Jonah ) still looking for jobs.
A few months later,( She ) felt a bit…wierded out by her own reflection..her low voice and…well everything about…himself- no that felt wrong…
Maybe…it was a time for a change of pace in a way for her,calling her older bro up for a bit of advice on…these feelings.

A few days later,once the two talked on the phone and once…Carla…yeah that sounded like a good name she discussed her uncomfortable feelings about herself; Jonah had suggested maybe talking to a therapist about her feelings of dysphoria and maybe she could call up one of the pharmacies in the city to prescribe her hormone or even just a simple change of her name and pronouns could do. Wiping away tears,the woman immediately hugged her small big brother in joy at him wanting to help her and with him nearly getting his ribs crushed by her show of affection,going to lightly pat her shoulder to show his little sis that he cared…and also the signal he was being actively crushed but in the end-
It would go all okay for the two but for Carla,she was going to be her own kind of woman.
