Decades after the Hail Mary launched, the Earth was well on its way to being saved. The Beetles had returned home, years after they, alongside the doomed crew, were shot off into the void. They brought with them gifts sent by Dr. Ryland Grace: taumoeba, an explanation, a plan. Also, undeniable video evidence that sentient alien life was out there in the far flung reaches of space. Now, after many years of heated discussion, it was officially decided that it was time to declassify the Hail Mary video logs.
