Work Text:
He's here again. One of the few regular customers this tiny coffee shop gets.
I watch him step quietly step inside the coffee shop, his recently dyed hair (which I love) bouncing softly on his head with each step. Dressed in black ripped jeans, black jumper and covered in a black trench coat, he makes his way almost silently to the counter. He makes eye contact with me and I can't help the flips my stomach does.
"Hello Jeonggukie, one flat white please."
I nod my head, thinking about how God must of made the bells that live in his throat. Making the coffee reminds me of him, the dark liquid reminding me of the dark clothes he always wears, only to be lightened with milk to a colour close to his skin tone, only to be sprinkled with chocolate powder, the same colour his eyes are. I look over to him, he's on his phone, typing away.
"Jiminnie. Coffee."
He looks up and grabs the take away cup while I reach for the rag to clean up. I hear him take a deep breath.
"Hey Gukkie?"
"Hmm?"
"What are you doing after work today?"
He says while paying, and I swear my heart stops and starts again.
"Nothing much."
I say quietly, and he nods.
"Let's meet up then?"
