    Suguru Geto is revived shortly after the Shibuya Incident by means of a Binding Vow with Mahito. Awake in his Innate Domain since Gojo’s sealing, Geto heeds Mahito’s desperate bargain for survival with the sole intent of saving his best friend.

    An attempt to resolve my numerous grievances with JJK as a whole, as well as exploring various what-ifs that went unanswered, all condensed into one massive "fix-it" AU. Note that I am using that label loosely, since there is a good amount of plain wish fulfillment sprinkled throughout as well (See: the major character undeath tag).

    When I say "grievances" I am talking about the plot points, characters and worldbuilding elements that I felt were underdeveloped, underused or not satisfyingly delivered on. Like the whole merger plot and the clan politics stuff, Heian-era characters, and just... the majority of the female cast. Still, I am attempting to remain faithful to the source material when possible & this is as much a love letter to it as it is a project motivated by spite.

    When headquarters summons him for a disciplinary hearing about his “continued inappropriate association,” they expect denial, defensiveness, or at least a little professional embarrassment.

    Satoru arrives prepared to be very reasonable.

    Suguru, unfortunately, sends flowers.

    Satoru couldn't believe how Megumi and Tsumiki's school forgot to tell him about the holiday bake sale sooner so when Tsumiki is worried about not having cookies in time, he and the kids have to make an emergency cookie making supplies run. And this leads to a chain reaction of events that ends up with Satoru somehow meeting the potential love of his life.

    Or, Gojo and Geto are single fathers who happen to become neighbors and happen to meet because Christmas cookies and they fall in love from there.

    During a negligent moment Satoru is infected with a parasitic curse without his knowledge. The curse, weak in the beginning, begins to feed on his cursed energy, weakening Gojo’s constitution day by day. There it lies, in waiting, until it becomes powerful enough to leave its host and devour everything in its proximity.
