Chapter I: Supposed To Patrol, Not To Get Into Trouble

Sakura, Suo, Nirei, the three of them are currently patrolling, "This is so boring." Sakura grumbled, getting Suo and Nirei's attention to him but the two just laughed it off. "Eh... Is that Sakura-kun got bored easily?" Suo teased as usual but Sakura shrugged it off, though his red neck, face and ears betrayed his nonchalant reaction which made Suo chuckled softly at him, "Uh, can we continue patrolling now, Sakura-san, Suo-san?" The two boys busy bickering at each other—Suo's one-sided teasing—look at Nirei who was somehow a few steps ahead from their position, which they both realized that they stopped walking.

"It's Suo's fault, blame him." Sakura muttered before leaving Suo behind and walking into Nirei's direction, "Eh? But no one's blaming you, Sakura-kun!" Suo teased from behind of them, the two can hear his chuckling but continued walking.

Somehow, the three are enjoying themselves and each other's company when suddenly, Suo and Nirei realized that Sakura was not behind them at all. "Huh? Where did Sakura-san go?" Nirei questioned more to himself but Suo heard it then the eye-patched boy simply replied, "I didn't notice him gone too, Nirei-kun but let's just look for him, okay?" Suo's voice, somehow cold did not leave unnoticed by Nirei so he just nodded and let it off his mind. But letting it off from his mind is not easy, Nirei thought as he kept thinking about it, not just Suo's voice but his lone crimson eye too seems darkened but disappeared quickly a half second that Nirei almost not caught it, maybe because they've been friends for long that Nirei started to understand about his friends' behaviors. Those thoughts, Nirei just kept them by himself.

Meanwhile, a certain half black and half white haired guy was continuing his steps towards a rural alley after receiving a message sneaked through his hands while walking behind from Suo and Nirei when they were patrolling.

He followed the message's sketched map and arrived at the specific place, "Show yourself and stop hiding like a mouse!" He shouted as he stands in a rural place but the sun set rays still approached this area so it's not that dark and secretive but enough to be called rural for it's empty and quiet place.

"Hahaha! You really showed up, Sakura Haruka!" Laughing, a guy in a hood showed up, one of Sakura's past enemies, he guesses since he seems not from this town. "What d'ya want? Why do ya asked me to come here? Good skills though, for sneaking that paper through my hands without me realizing it."The guy just laughed, "Well, ain't I really a skillful person, you know?" Full of himself. That's what Sakura thought of him and he's right. "So? What do you want? You made that effort sneaking your message just to tell me that I needed to come in this place, for what?" Sakura's impatient voice clear that the guy in front of him rolled his eyes at him. "Fight me, Sakura. I never forget what you did to me that time so I'm getting my revenge now, let me tell you that I'm strong now, I trained myself like hell after my beatings from you so that I can get strength to defeat you and claim my revenge, successfully. So, fight me, Sakura." Oh? He trained himself? Sakura can't quite remember him but since the guy did the effort to train, he'll accept it. "Fine, but don't regret it if—" His grin disappeared as cold and sharp as steel voice cut through the air, "Instead of patrolling, you're here, troubling yourself over a duel, Sakura-kun. What do you think will happen if that guy is actually lying to you and just waiting for you to get trapped by his scheme?" He can't turned around to look at Suo, his heart is beating so fast out of nervous, he never felt scared or nervous around Suo but this time, he felt nervous a bit, even though it's just a bit, it's maddening that made his knees week.

"And you. It'll be best if you leave the town now before I get and take the truth out of you, myself." Suo pointed at the guy in front of Sakura, the guy stumbled backwards before disappearing out of Sakura's sight completely.

Sakura heard Suo's steps from his back but he just couldn't, wouldn't face him. "Sakura-kun." He gulped as he felt Suo's hot breath against his ear that his knees almost gave out. "Sorry for speaking with you like that, I'm just worried because I noticed that the guy was actually from before who... It's just... I'm sorry, Sakura-kun." Suo's voice is so soft that Sakura's eyes almost fluttered closed. "W-Where's Nirei?" He asked instead as he swallowed, he felt Suo's presence left his back and now was in front of him, close, too close.

"He was helping a grandma to close her store before I excused myself and said that I know where you are then he just let me go to you." Suo's usual cheery and friendly voice is back that Sakura actually exhaled through his nose, feeling that he's not nervous anymore. "S-Sorry." Shyly scratching his nape, Sakura mumbled and looked down. He couldn't look at Suo properly but he felt his chin get lifted by Suo's index finger and he saw Suo's face that seems unreadable but vanished quickly and back to his usual friendly expression. "It's okay, Sakura-kun. As long as you tell me first where you're going next time." Somehow, Suo's voice maybe light but it carried a heavy, cold tone that Sakura had no choice but to nod. "Good, Sakura-kun. Just don't forget next time, that you were supposed to patrol, not to get into trouble, okay?" Sakura nodded again as he felt his face burning up so he quickly turned back from Suo's vision to make sure Suo won't see him like this because why the heck is he blushing of Suo's words—or is it because he praised him?!

Impossible!!! Sakura's wide-eyed expression made the impossible, possible.
