Suo has returned to Bofurin, however Sakura still hasnt moved on from the fact Suo prioritized Nirei, ignores him at school, and refuses to talk to him. No, he doesnt hate Nirei for this, nor Suo. All he hates is himself and questions his existence and purpose. 'Till Tsubaki and Umemiya asks Sakura to spend a day with them at school after being absent for quite a while.
How wholesome, there definitely wont be any jealous chinese man wondering why Sakura isnt following him around and is ignoring him now.

Sakura eyes him suspiciously, but he deigns to say, “dunno. They’re nice to look at, I guess. Big and sparkly and…” his fading flush returns fully, realizing both of them are watching him intently. “All that. I guess,” he finishes.
