Bi Panic

Summary:

Remus Lupin meets a beautiful barista. Remus Lupin meets a beautiful bartender. Whom should he choose? A sweet, impossibly sweet, adorable fic about our favourite characters.

Just written for fun. Not canon. Nothing about canon. More like an original than anything to do with the canon really. Modern AU. Feminine Sirius. I know some people hate it, please avoid reading if you can't be kind about it.

Notes:

I repeat, the characters are very different from the canon. It was supposed to be a one shot but it got too long.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter 1: First meet

Chapter Text

Remus was still feeling half asleep when he entered his regular café at the corner near his flat. He pushed the glass door open, rubbing at his puffy eyes. He shouldn't have spent half the night mindlessly scrolling through his feed instead of getting some rest. Corporate had sucked his soul out but the money was good. The fifty hour work week left little time for any relaxation apart from some gym and some mindless scrolling. With a sigh, he tried to focus his bleary eyes at the counter reciting his usual order.

"Black, one sugar please", he croaked before his eyes focused on the barista. Amused silver eyes gazed at him through a stray curl, falling out of thick, waist length, luscious, black hair. Remus stared at the extraordinarily beautiful barista who nodded at him before typing the order to pass him the generated bill.

Remus passed his credit card mechanically, staring at the black nail paint on the flawless pianist hands. Blinking out of his daze a bit as the barista moved away to make his order, Remus rubbed at his eyes again. What was wrong with him? Trying not to be too creepy, he glanced at the back of the barista, mesmerized by the bouncing curls as she worked. They must be soft he assumed. Shaking his head a little, he berated himself for his thoughts and moved away from the counter to wait for his order. He was the only customer this early.

Looking at his feet, shuffling around awkwardly for a bit, Remus peeked up again to see the barista looking back at him while putting a lid on his cup. He felt his face heat up. Moving quickly up to the counter to pick up his order he rushed out of the café, head ducked, ears burning.
