Summary
At 88 years of age, Claire Leroux knew some things.
She knew that every now and then, there was a child that was a little different. Or special, as she rather liked to call it.
At seven years old, Remus Lupin knew for certain that he didn’t enjoy it much to be around other people. With the horses, it was different.
At almost eight years old, Sirius Black knew all the rules and expectations in this enormous house of his family by heart, but oh did he have trouble to actually heed this knowledge!
At 6 and a half years old, Regulus Black had stopped talking completely for almost three years up to this very day.For Sirius Black, the Lupin ranch is more than a place - it’s the one corner of the world where he can breathe, where he finds freedom. But most of all, he finds Remus. Remus, who makes Sirius’ heart beat faster with some golden freckles and forest eyes and shy smiles. Exploring the world, exploring oneself and also this terrifying new thing called love.

Summary
Living with Sirius has been interesting for Remus, feeling a bit like he’d travelled back in time to his university days, when he was marginally more gangly and awkward, and Sirius and James were just as effervescent and unruly as they’ve continued to be in their adult lives. Only now, they’ve replaced a riotous James Potter with a riotous 4-year-old with a penchant for scribbling on white walls with hot pink markers.

Or, in which Sirius fits himself far too neatly into Remus' life, and he simply is unable to cope, and really it all comes down to Teddy Lupin and his dinosaur-shaped nightlight.

Summary
1717. Sirius Black, firstborn and heir to the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black, is gloomily making his way from London to the Caribbeans where he will be forced to marry his cousin and continue the bloodline of a family he hates. At this point he would do anything to escape his fate. Even being boarded by a pirate ship and held hostage sounds better than what awaits him at the end of the voyage. And seeing the captain of said pirate ship, it actually sounds way much better.

Summary
Remus has never believed any of the folk tales he was raised on.
He discounted them all as rubbish, refusing to believe that such things like mermaids could possibly exist, but when he sees something in the water that can't be explained he starts to wonder if he's been wrong all these years...

Summary
Sirius has fled his abusive home. Broken and lost, he waits for death to come when a stranger with familiar eyes finds him instead.
* * *
“I might marry a princess when I get older.”
“Really?”
“Oh yes. Or a duchess or something of that sort.”
“Okay. Okay, that's fair enough.”
Quiet pondering. Earth against their backs where they rest side by side. Scattered light across their faces.
“I’d much rather marry the prince, I reckon.”

Summary
Sirius Black is broke.
Although it’s not the word he’d use, he can’t exactly deny it.
His solution?
Secure a place on one of the most prestigious choirs in the country.
Easy.
All he has to do is show up, dissociate his way through ridiculously pretentious choral music, and finally be able to pay his rent on time. No attachment. Stay carefully under the radar amongst the sea of voices.
That is, until he meets his new choir director.
Remus Lupin is young, passionate, and disgustingly observant.
Suddenly, distance seems impossible. Under the radar seems like a childish concept. Not with this alluring, enigma of a man leading him. Sirius finds himself falling into the rabbit hole that is Remus John Lupin before he can help himself. Desire, obligation, and a newfound fascination in choral music follow, and…
Well.
Sirius is fucked.
