Work Text:
Fina found Marta’s mouth with the ease of someone who knows their way in the dark. Soft lips. Marta deepened the kiss, slow and steady, opening herself, surrendering with the kind of trust only night allows. Fina responded immediately, hand at the nape of her neck, fingers threading through her hair, sliding down her back, holding her close, binding them together.
Desire rose in Marta like a tide, heat spreading from her belly to her thighs, that sweet ache Fina had always stirred in her. She pressed closer, hooked a leg between Fina’s, letting their bodies recognize one another. Her hand traced down Fina’s side, then lower, to that secret place she knew so well, where Fina bloomed, damp and open.
But when her fingers brushed there, Fina’s skin was tense, not ready. Marta paused, as if she’d touched a live wire, withdrawing slightly, confused.
“Amor?” The word came low, careful. “Am I going too fast?”
Fina lowered her lashes. “No,” she said quickly. “It’s just… I need you. But let me take care of you tonight.” She took Marta’s wrist, guided it away. “Let me.”
Marta nodded, quietly yielding. There was something solemn in that “let me” both an invitation and a farewell hidden in the same syllable. She didn’t know its weight, but she felt it.
Fina eased her onto her back with the slow, deliberate pace of ritual. She pushed aside the sheet, letting it fall. “Look at me,” she whispered—not a command, but a prayer. Their eyes met as she lifted Marta’s nightdress, baring her. In the half-light, her skin glowed, milk and shadow.
“You’re beautiful,” Fina murmured—both a statement and an act of faith. “I wish I had more words. But you are this.”
Her mouth traced a path over Marta’s skin: forehead, eyelids, brows, cheeks, the hollow of her ear, her neck. Marta trembled, slight and helpless. Fina took her time, the rhythm she’d learned, the one that melts defenses. Shoulders, collarbones, then her breast, cupped fully in her hand, then her mouth, tongue circling lazily around the areola, firmer just at the tip. Marta lifted her chest in offering, a soft moan escaping.
“Sí” she breathed. “Así…”
Fina smiled against her skin, mirroring the caress on the other breast. Her hands moved as if mapping familiar territory, each curve and hollow carrying a secret name. At her navel, she paused, inhaling: jasmine soap and beneath it the raw, undeniable scent of Marta—the one she would recognize anywhere, even blindfolded.
“Fina…” Marta parted her thighs without thought, an invitation as inevitable as breath.
Fina dove in like someone plunging after a long-held breath. Her first kiss there was light, tentative, just a brush of tongue. Then fuller, precise. Marta’s body flared, as if someone had turned a hidden dial. Fina’s tongue moved with the intelligence of listening. One hand held Marta’s thigh, firm but gentle; the other skimmed her hip, a reminder: you are held, you can let go. Marta let go. The first shiver was brief; the second stretched long, a rolling wave. Fina alternated pressure and breath, tiny pauses, patient returns that carried her higher.
“I love you,” she whispered into her flesh, letting the words sink in with her pleasure.
Marta clutched the sheets, gasping for words, finding none truer: “Me too… God, me too.”
When the wave became a wall, Marta surrendered. Tremors seized her thighs, her belly clenched, her voice broke in a prolonged moan. The orgasm tore through her, leaving her tender, almost surprised. Her arms fell slack at her sides.
Fina rose slowly, retracing her path in kisses—belly, breasts, throat, mouth. Marta welcomed her with a lazy, grateful kiss, cupping her face as if it were a miracle. “I love you,” she whispered again, gentler, soothing a wild, skittish creature. “I feel you everywhere.”
They stayed like that, held tight. Marta’s skin glowed, then slowly calmed. But the sadness in Fina’s eyes hadn’t disappeared—it had only shifted, moved to another room. Marta noticed it as her thumb brushed Fina’s brow, the gesture turning into a question.
“¿Qué pasa, amor? What are you carrying inside?”
Fina shook her head. “Nada.”
“It’s not true.” Marta kissed her lips, cheekbones, corners of her eyes, between words. “It’s not nada. There’s something. Let me… let me take it from your eyes. Let me…”
Fina gave a shadow of a smile. “You’ve already made me feel better.”
“Please…”
Fina hesitated, hand drifting to the nightstand, then faltering. “Marta… you’re tired. Let’s go to sleep.”
“No,” Marta said, urgent, certain. “I’m here. For you.” She straddled her, took her hands, lifted them slowly. “Look at me.”
Fina obeyed. Stripes of light crossed Marta’s chest, shadowing her breasts, a crescent under her chin.
“I want to take that sadness from your eyes,” Marta said.
Fina felt a jolt in her chest. Resisting her voice was impossible. She nodded. Marta guided her hands to her breasts. “Here,” she whispered. “Feel me…” She made her squeeze softly, then she took her hand to her lips and kissed Fina’s fingers one by one, tongue grazing each tip as if they were precious gems.
“Show me you’re here with me.”
Fina let her hands rest there. Marta bent, opened her nightdress, stripping her with devastating slowness—peeling away her armor with her clothes—then returned above her, thighs astride her hips, sliding down until they pressed together.
“Así pegadita a ti, como si fueramos una sola persona, just as you said… just as you always like it…”
The friction was soft, a slow caress. Marta moved gently at first, almost imperceptibly, like breathing, hips finding their rhythm. Fina stifled a moan, then let it go, rough and broken. Marta kissed her mouth, swallowing the sound.
“Like this?” she asked.
“Yes,” Fina whispered. “Yes, like this.”
Marta looked down with clear eyes, stripped of hesitation. “Tell me if you want harder, slower, more…” She let their bodies speak. The rhythm grew, a slow, precise grind, warmth trading between thighs and bellies. Her hand pressed softly at the root of Fina’s pleasure, not invading, just feeling. “Are you here?” she asked low. “Are you here, amor?”
“Yes,” Fina breathed, truth at last. “Yes, Marta. I’m here.”
Her fingertips found softness, wetness where there had been none. Fina opened to her, hips lifting.
“Slow, mi amor, please… I don’t want it to end too soon.” She caught Marta’s wrist.
Marta obeyed, tender and sure. Circles, gentle lines, pauses, returns. Fina moaned louder; her fingers clutched Marta’s breast, then released, kneading. Marta laughed softly. “I like when you touch me like that.”
She said. “Stay in this moment. With me.”
Fina cupped her face. “I’m here.” And kissed her, sealing it.
Marta’s steady rocking held Fina in a bright place, her back arched, body begging for more.
“I feel you,” Marta said, tenderness in her voice. “mirame.” Fina obeyed—and lost another piece of her defenses. Marta took her thumb in her mouth, sucking gently, kissing it.
The rhythm was not marching but rocking. Fina let out a sound that was neither moan nor sob, but both. “Marta…”
“Yes. I’m here.” The way she said it shook Fina more than any touch. Marta pressed deeper with her hips.
Fina’s hands clung to her—one sliding down her back to her hips, the other anchored at her chest. “Marta,” she said, a mixture of plea and gratitude.
“Tell me.”
“Don’t stop.”
She didn’t. Mouth and hands listened, adjusting with each breath: “Here?” “sí.” “Like this?” “sí.” “More?” “sí, sí, sí” The bed shifted with them, springs sighing, Marta’s damp hair falling in strands around them.
Then Marta felt it, Fina’s body tensing in that way she knew, yet always new. Her belly tightened, head thrown back, mouth saying Marta’s name as a blessing. “Marta… Marta…”
“Si amor,” Marta whispered. “Let go.”
Fina let go. The orgasm broke her, fierce, tearing through her flesh. For a moment she cried silently, two hot tears sliding to her temples. Marta kissed them both. “I'm here” she murmured, smiling in the dark. “I’m here.”
They lay together, skin to skin, breathing. Fina looked into her eyes. The sadness was still there.
Marta kissed her eyelids, one then the other, sealing them. “Can I hold you like this?”
“please..,” Fina whispered, sinking into her arms, face against Marta’s chest. Time slowed.
“Tell me something happy,” Marta asked, not knowing what she meant, Fina tried. “The photos I took of you the other day. Your shyness when I did it.” She smiled.
“You’ll take more. I’ll learn not to run away,” Marta said. “I’ll be your muse.”
“You already are,” Fina replied, a shiver of tomorrow running through her.
Marta didn’t notice the tension in the body pressed to hers. Sometimes love is a blessed blindness. She stroked her hair, letting dark strands slip through her fingers. “I love you,” she said again, and the words never lost their weight.
“Me too,” Fina replied. “I love you, Marta.”
The night deepened. Slowly, they found the position they always slept in, Fina curled around Marta from behind.
Fina didn’t sleep a minute.
She listened to Marta’s breath grow slow, then rose and went to the desk.
