The idea came to them on a pure whim.
Somewhere stretched along the last glass of wine and Ludwig’s thumb brushing Feliciano’s thigh under the restaurant table, it was decided for them that they were not going back home for the night.
The city air outside was softly breezy with the first dip of autumn’s sharp tooth, street lamps streaking long bright streaks across the wet pavement. Feliciano’s fingers played at the end of his scarf as his partner guided the two of them through the quiet streets, their shoulders bumping just often enough to stir that familiar pressing feeling in his chest.
“You’re walking too fast,” Feliciano whined lightly, though his voice was warm, teasing. The loose strands of his hair danced with each hurried step to keep pace, the tip of his nose pink from the chill.
“Don’t complain. You’ll warm up faster this way,” Ludwig replied, yet his mouth tilted just faintly at the corners. Feliciano’s pace was fine enough anyway. It was obvious that he was only walking faster because he had something to look forward to.
The hotel wasn’t much. It was surely cheap, but not run-down. A place with narrow hallways, walls painted the same buttery shade that never quite decided between gold and beige, and a front desk clerk who didn’t look twice at two men checking in with no luggage except a pair of small overnight bags.
Feliciano kept one step close behind Ludwig as they made their way up the old wooden stairs, his eyes flitting from the reddish Persian carpet to the wall-plastered framed photographs of the city from decades past. “It’s cozy…” he murmured, though there was a teasing lilt to the word, as if ‘cozy’ was only the polite word to describe what this hotel actually was.
Ludwig scraped the key briefly; in and against the ridges of the keyhole before turning it, then pushed the handle down, causing the door to swing open with a soft complaint of it’s old hinges. The room smelled faintly of a general lavender cleaning agent alongside something older, on the lines of sun-baked dust. A single lamp in the corner spilled thick, yellowed-orange light over the bed, which was moderately sized and neatly made up in soft, white bedding.
The moment the door clicked shut behind them, their proximity, more so in the small, shared room, became more pressing.
Feliciano’s bag hit the floor with a deafened thump, and Ludwig’s followed half a second later. Neither of them had the patience to care where they landed. Ludwig turned, one broad hand bracing on the doorframe above Feliciano’s head, and the smaller man barely had time to smile before Ludwig’s mouth was on his.
It was not a gentle kiss, but that didn’t cut down the affectionate nature of it. There was nothing tentative about the way Ludwig pressed in, his lips firm and his jaw set, his free hand sliding into Feliciano’s hair as though it belonged there and had been waiting far too long to return. Feliciano made a small, pleased sound, half surprised and half satisfied, as his back met the door.
Ludwig didn’t stop there. God, as if he could at all. He kissed Feliciano like he was starving to have him, deep and deliberate, his body crowding into Feliciano’s until there was no space left between them. Feliciano’s fingers hooked in the gap of fabric in Ludwig’s coat, tugging him closer now.
The door gave a soft shudder as Feliciano reached back blindly, twisting the lock with a decisive click. Ludwig’s lips broke from his only to drag along his jaw, slow and heavy, leaving heat in their wake. Feliciano’s head tilted, granting his permission, offering more, hell, chasing more, his breath catching as Ludwig’s mouth found the tender skin beneath his ear.
In a matter of seconds, clothing became an obstacle. Ludwig’s hands were already worming their way under Feliciano’s coat, pushing it off his shoulders, the fabric sliding down to pool at their feet. Feliciano tugged at Ludwig’s scarf in return, winding it loose with a few hurried pulls before tossing it aside. The distance between their faces shortened again, and they bumped their noses together for another kiss.
“Lu-ah-Ludwig…” Feliciano breathed against his mouth, the syllables melting into the next kiss, and then the next, his lips tasting distantly of red wine and the rich chocolate dessert they shared hours ago.
“Mmh.” Ludwig’s agreement vibrated against Feliciano’s lips, his large hands already mapping the familiar plain of his back, the heat of his palms seeping through the thin fabric of Feliciano’s shirt.
They staggered further into the room without fully breaking apart, Ludwig’s hand finding Feliciano’s hip and steering him toward the bed. Feliciano’s fingers slipped beneath the collar of Ludwig’s coat, pushing it from his shoulders, his touch skimming over the muscles of his arms as the heavy fabric fell away.
The lamp’s golden light caught the sheen of their lips when they pulled back just far enough to breathe, both of them flushed and already breathing harder. Feliciano’s cheeks were warm beneath Ludwig’s hands, his fringe spilling forward to frame his face as he leaned back in, catching Ludwig’s mouth again in a slower kiss this time, still deep, but savouring.
The air felt more concentrated now, weighty with the scent of them, the shared warmth of their bodies, the muffled sounds of their clothing shifting and falling away. Ludwig’s hands roamed freely, each pass over Feliciano’s sides and waist eliciting a small, involuntary sound from the other. Feliciano’s own touch was just as needy, sliding over the breadth of Ludwig’s back, delighting in the way the muscles flexed under his shirt.
By the time Ludwig eased him down onto the bed, the both of them were free from their oppressive attire. The bedside lamp painted everything with an amber film, catching in Feliciano’s hair and glinting faintly on the dampness at the corner of his mouth.
Ludwig’s weight finally settled over him, his knees bracketing Feliciano’s hips, palms planted firmly on either side of his head.
Feliciano’s smile was small, adoring, almost dazed in its manner, but his eyes burned with the same rushing need that Ludwig felt thrumming through his own veins.
Ludwig dipped down for another kiss, unhurried, but still heavy enough to press Feliciano into the mattress. It was mind-wrecking, unsteadying, just how quickly they’d gone from quiet conversation to this, and yet at the same time, it felt inevitable, something accustom to their loving games of spontaneity.
And then,
He felt it, and oh, God, he felt it.
It was dizzying when every thick, unyielding inch of Ludwig’s cock pushed into him, every little movement stretching him open around it as his tight ring of muscle clenched in a helplessly pleasured rhythm around him. “Good— fuck—“ Ludwig groaned, breath hitching, “That’s it, my good boy...”
Feliciano’s gaze was glazed over decadently, shining like wet paint catching the light, of soft ochres and warm umbers that swirled in his wide, unguarded irises. He was open to Ludwig like this, blissful and unwrapped before him.
His lips took upon an inviting pink hue, parted and panting, and with a twinge in his heart, Ludwig knew that he was, too, being admired with such deep awe and love. A muttered curse left his lips as his fingers dug into the luxurious give of Feliciano’s thighs, dragging him firmly back down into the mattress before driving into him again.
The rhythm thrumming between them was heavy, unbroken, each and every thrust landing deep enough to steal Feliciano’s breath. The bedsprings fussed beneath the motion, but Ludwig’s focus remained locked on the way Feliciano’s body yielded to him so perfectly, as though he was sculpted in such a way that was made to fit him.
Feliciano whimpered, his hands clutching at the sheets until his knuckles went white, knees trembling as Ludwig’s hips met his over and over again. Each drag back sent a satisfying tremor up his spine, while each push forward made his vision flicker, pleasure coiling wildly in his lower abdomen.
“Ah, Ludwig—” his voice cracked, high and broken, “I—oh, God—” The rest dissolved into another gasp as Ludwig’s hand slid from his thigh to grab his hip, holding him still so he could drive into him deeper, the wet sound of their bodies meeting echoing in the room around them.
Sweat rolled down Ludwig’s temple, his jaw clenched as he watched Feliciano fall apart beneath him, every sound and shiver from his partner feeding something primal in his chest. He leaned in, pressing his forehead to Feliciano’s, their breaths mingling, warm, ragged, and overwhelmingly desperate, all before he claimed his mouth in a messy kiss.
Ludwig’s mouth broke from the kiss just enough to speak, his words low and rough against Feliciano’s lips. “You can take it, ja? My good boy… look at you, it’s like you’re made for me—” The words poured out between gasps, Feliciano’s back arching as Ludwig’s hips slammed forward again, the head of his cock hitting that spot that made him choke on his own moans.
“That’s it,” Ludwig growled, one hand sliding up to cradle the back of Feliciano’s neck, keeping him close, keeping him right there. “Come on, let me hear you. Don’t hold back.” His other hand tightened on Feliciano’s hip, anchoring him in place as he thrust harder, rougher, the wet slap of their bodies causing his head to spin.
Feliciano’s fingers clawed at Ludwig’s shoulders, the muscles shifting under his touch with every thrust. “Ludwig—oh—please, please…”
Ludwig’s lips curved into something between a sweet smile, and something more mocking, more taunting. “Please what? Tell me.” He didn’t slow, didn’t relent for a single second, driving into him until Feliciano’s head tipped back, a strangled moan spilling from his throat.
“There you go. Do you feel that..?” Ludwig pressed, his voice breaking slightly with his own strain. “Every inch, inside you. That’s all yours.”
Feliciano could only nod back weakly, his voice far gone, the pleasure tearing him apart from the inside out.
Ludwig’s pace turned ruthless, every thrust deep and unerring, forcing choked little gasps from Feliciano’s mouth, and it delighted the man in a sickeningly addictive way. “That’s it—good—don’t you dare look away from me,” Ludwig ordered, his voice low but fierce, keeping Feliciano pinned under his gaze. His hand made its way to cradle Feliciano’s cheek, directing him so that his eyes were where he wanted it.
Feliciano’s lips trembled, eyes half-lidded and swimming with pleasure, but he obeyed, staring up at Ludwig as if the sight of his strong, loving boyfriend alone was keeping him held together through the flurry of pleasure coursing through his body. The pressure in his gut coiled tighter, hotter, each push dragging him closer to the edge until his head fell to the pillow beneath him and his thighs quivered around Ludwig’s hips.
“Tell me,” Ludwig gritted out, sweat dripping from his temple onto Feliciano’s flushed skin, “you’re close. I can feel you—” His words cut off with a groan as Feliciano’s tight heat pulsed frantically around him, milking every inch.
“Y-yes—yes, Ludwig—please, I—ah—” Feliciano hiccuped, voice breaking into a desperate cry as Ludwig’s hand slid down to wrap firmly around him, stroking in perfect sync with his thrusts.
“That’s it. Give it to me. Let go for me, Feli,” Ludwig urged, his breath hot and ragged, his thumb sweeping over him in a deliberate, merciless rhythm.
Feliciano’s hands flew to Ludwig’s arms, nails digging in as his back arched off the mattress. His moan cracked halfway through, dissolving into incoherent sounds as his body seized with release, spilling hotly over Ludwig’s hand in hot, shuddering pulses.
The sight and feel of him unravelling so completely tore a guttural growl from Ludwig’s own chest. His rhythm faltered for the first time since the night began as he drove into him one last time, deep enough to make Feliciano’s breath catch in his throat, before his own release took him, hot, heavy, and spilling deep inside.
For a moment, they stayed still there, trembling and breathless, the space between them thick with heat and the faint scent of sweat and sex. Ludwig’s forehead rested against Feliciano’s, his chest heaving, voice barely louder than a hoarse murmur. “I love you…”
Ludwig’s hands that were once gripping hard enough to bruise Feliciano’s skin, now moved slowly over his body, smoothing along the curve of his thigh, tracing idle patterns at his waist.
Feliciano’s lashes fluttered, his body still leaded with exhaustion beneath Ludwig’s. “Mm… you’re so warm…” he murmured, his voice sleep-soft. His fingers curled into the muscles of Ludwig’s shoulders as if afraid he might move away.
Ludwig wouldn’t have dared to. If anything, he pressed in closer, still buried inside, unwilling to give up their comfortable closeness just yet. “You did so well, Feli,” he murmured, his voice a low rumble against Feliciano’s temple.
Feliciano smiled faintly, that blissed, hazy expression that always made Ludwig’s chest ache. “Thank you…” he whispered, tilting his face up so their noses brushed.
Ludwig kissed him then, a slow, lingering press of lips without too much pressure. When he finally pulled back, he kept their foreheads touching, his hand sliding up to cradle the back of Feliciano’s head.
