Summary
Michael De Santa doesn’t know it yet, but between the therapy sessions and self-loathing, he’s stuck in the throes of a midlife crisis. Restless and interminably bored with his early retirement, it isn’t long before he finds himself falling for the charm and caustic wit of 25-year-old escort, Marissa Morgan. As Michael’s life begins to unravel, he increasingly seeks comfort – among other things – in the arms of the young woman who seems to judge him only by the contents of his bank account, and who remains disconnected from the growing chaos of his family, the FIB, and Trevor Philips.
This short prequel, set during the events of Grand Theft Auto V, explores the elements of Michael and Marissa’s business arrangement heavily alluded to during Almost Criminal.
