Work Text:
The night sky in the Xianzhou Luofu was always something admirable to Blade, his crimson red eyes glimmered so beautifully due to the reflection of the shining stars, Blade traced the pattern of the stars with his eyes, trying to put constellations together; this kept his mind occupied and gave his eyes & soul some sort of life and comfort. A gentle and cool breeze embraced the stellaron hunter, his long hair swayed along with the wind while he slowly walked, trying to take in the quietude of the night.
So what made it so different tonight? Why did he feel so anxious, like guilt was consuming every inch of his being? It surely couldn’t be because he was standing right in front of his ex lover’s window in the middle of the night, right? They did this so often before, why did it feel so different and wrong tonight? The general of the Luofu wasn’t currently home, he was surely in the Seat of Divine Foresight, probably trying to not doze off after a long day at work. Blade took the liberty of coming over to Jing Yuan’s house and just admired the room he used to sleep in almost every night when he and the general used to date.
Memories after memories replayed in Blade’s mind, them falling asleep in each other's embrace every time after making love . Blade could’ve sworn that he felt some warmth surrounding him every single time he thought of the general.
Why was Blade standing outside Jing Yuan’s window though? It could be anywhere else right? The two always agreed on meeting there, so the general could open the window up for Blade to let him in his bedroom since that’s the only spot where the stellaron hunter wouldn't be caught by the cloud knights, or by that little kid Yanqing; he always roamed around Jing Yuan, and after some time of the couple being together, the kid grew suspicious and not only was he attentive of the Seat of Divine Foresight, but he began to wander around the general’s house more often, especially at night.
Blade said to himself over and over that he was just going to scan the room with his eyes once or twice and then leave, since it’d be extremely awkward for both him and Jing Yuan if he was caught standing there without them agreeing to meet up at first. The stellaron hunter could not resist coming over though, he just needed one peek to fulfill his longing for the general.
It had been two years and a few months since they unofficially broke up, but Blade lost count one day and ever since then, it began to feel like an eternity since they have seen each other. Everyday that passed Blade just tried to numb out the feeling of yearning for Jing Yuan, how much he missed their late night talks and cuddle sessions, how warm Jing Yuan’s skin felt against his naturally cold skin.
The stellaron hunter was so lost in thought that he failed to realize how fast time passed by, the only thing that pulled him away from his thoughts while he stared at the night sky was the fact that Jing Yuan’s bedroom door was open and a light turned on somewhere in the house and lit up most of the hallway near the room. Blade quickly reacted to this but for the guilt of being there when he shouldn’t have been quickly washed over him so he stood in place, paralyzed.
Every single limb felt so damn heavy, the warmth he once felt now completely vanished. Blade stood in place, telling himself to move and repeating it in his mind so much that the word completely lost its meaning at some point, he just watched Jing Yuan’s shadow move and slowly get closer to his bedroom, each second now felt like torture, and all he could do is stay still and hope he’d be able to move before the general reached his bedroom.
He couldn’t. He wasn’t able to move a single inch right now, it felt like he was about to suffocate any second. The guilt, the longing for getting a single glimpse of Jing Yuan; Blade wasn’t the type to feel strong emotions, but oh god it felt like every emotion he never felt were just hitting him all at once, overwhelming him to the point where the stellaron hunter just wished for the earth to swallow him whole to avoid the absolute embarrassment he was about to feel.
Time immediately stopped once Blade saw Jing Yuan’s silhouette unhurriedly walking inside his room, not even sparing a glance at the window and just plopping down on his bed, his eyes closed.
The stellaron hunter slowly started to resist the urge to move and allowed himself to admire the man on the other side of the window. “He hasn’t changed one bit.” Blade thought to himself, as Jing Yuan’s title ‘The Dozing General’ seemed to fit him quite a lot right now, he’s still wearing his heavy armor and yet he’s peacefully laying in bed about to drift off to sleep.
Blade smiled to himself the entire time he was looking at Jing Yuan, it was almost as if all of his worries of getting caught were finally resolved. Maybe now that he was more calm he would finally be able to escape, he finally got a look at someone he’s been yearning to see for an eternity and that is all he needed before he could go back and complete the mission Elio assigned him in the Luofu.
“One quick look.” Blade knew it was a lie and yet he kept repeating this in his head over and over. He kept contradicting himself though, that stare of his over Jing Yuan just kept getting prolonged, could he just look at the window so Blade could at least swiftly leave without a single explanation? If only he opened his eyes and took just one single look at the window Blade would finally be able to move; or so he thought.
Jing Yuan opened his eyes after resting on his bed and stared at the ceiling of his room. Occasionally, he’d leave his blinds open out of habit even if this habit should have stopped years ago. Perhaps he was waiting to see something, or someone. He turned his head to the window not expecting to see anything out of the ordinary, he just was simply going to stare at the moon and think for a while, it became part of his nightly routine. Longing.
This night could have been like any other, except for the fact that instead of looking at the moon through his window, Jung Yuan was staring at his ex-lover who was almost shining because of the moonlight. He was going crazy, right? Maybe the amount of time he spent thinking about Blade had finally caught up to him and now he was surely hallucinating the man on the other side of the window, right?
Jing Yuan’s eyes widened immediately, his heart hadn’t pounded this hard in years, it felt like almost it was going to explode or straight up rip out through his chest, so he placed one of his hands on his chest to prevent it from happening. That feeling he longed for so many years came back after so long, but it felt confusing. Why wasn’t Blade leaving? Just like he did way back, should he let the Stellaron Hunter in just like they used to do? He had so many questions.
Nothing could have prepared him for that night, even though he’s been wishing for it to happen for an eternity. Jing Yuan felt stuck in place, and he wasn't the only one. Blade hadn’t moved a single inch ever since he noticed him outside, he knew for sure that he was able to look at him since the moonlight is bright enough to light up his room, so why wasn't he doing anything? Why was he just standing there looking so stupid but also so handsome?
The courage it took for Jing Yuan to actually get up and try to convince himself that what he was seeing wasn’t a mere hallucination was so immense that just gathering it all up caused him to feel a bit shaky, his breathing sped up by the second as he stepped closer to the window and reached his hand out to open it. The stellaron hunter just watched him move closer to him, still in shock and being unable to move at all. He’s wanted this for so long, opening the window for his lover and seeing him again, being able to hold him and feel his warmth.
Yet the confusion took over Jing Yuan as soon as he opened the window, not the part where he’s yearned for this moment. The moment the cool wind hit Jing Yuan’s face and he saw Blade stand right in front of him, both of their mouths agape, as if they had something to say. Not one word was uttered, the only sound both of them could hear was their hearts pounding in their ears and their thoughts, which told them to please say something to the other. Jing Yuan broke the silence after minutes of just staring each other in the eye and almost checking the other out, just to check if what they were seeing was real.
“Don’t just stand there, it’ll get too cold.” The general moved aside to let Blade inside the bedroom, he was expecting Blade to flee the moment that he stepped closer, but to his surprise, Blade climbed through the window without saying a word.
Everything was so awkward, to say the least. They didn’t know where to look or what to say, they simply stood in front of each other and cleared their throats. Jing Yuan quickly closed the window to keep the warmth of his room inside and stood there, looking outside to let himself think of what to say to stop the moment from being so awkward while Blade watched every movement of his. As soon as the general turned around, Blade looked away and made it seem like he was just taking a look around the room, to see what had changed in the time he wasn’t there.
“Aren’t you upset?” Blade asked. “What?” “Aren’t you upset I showed up unannounced after-” He got cut off by Jing Yuan wrapping his arms tightly around his waist. “I am,” Jing Yuan said quietly, holding Blade’s face with one hand and caressing his cheeks with his thumb, “I really am upset, but I’ve been waiting for this moment for an eternity, and lashing out on you is not worth it.” The general offered the other a kind smile.
Blade wasn’t sure how to react, he was speechless. Usually he’d push anyone who dared to lay a finger on him away, he wasn’t fond of affection from just anyone. He’d purposely avoid anyone who showed the slightest hint of attraction and acted clueless when anyone made a move on him, it was frustrating to him. This though, oh how much he’s been craving for these specific arms to hold him and tell him that everything will be okay, to comfort and quiet his mind from constantly overthinking. He wasn’t sure what to feel at this very moment though, the general was upset at him but he was forgiving as ever and that was a sweet quality Blade loved about him, he almost admired how easily he let go of things that bothered him.
He undoubtedly will never forget about how Jing Yuan managed to get him out of the Shackling Prison and reduced his sentence out of the kindness of his heart, for merely being old friends. Though Blade still thinks that he deserved being in that cold prison, he was a highly wanted criminal and the things he has done are almost unforgivable, and yet, Jing Yuan let him go. Right now though, he wanted to let go of his thoughts and enjoy his time with his ex lover he missed so much. It was going well so far, and he hoped it stayed that way; maybe an explanation might make it better, no?
Blade mouth barely opened when Jing Yuan pulled away from him, the warmth he felt throughout his body was now gone, and he craved more of that comfort. His voice came out shaky, “I’m sorry, for leaving that way. It wasn’t up to me, I kept you in my thoughts every day and you were the reason I stayed alive. You have to believe me, General.” Jing Yuan scoffed and his lips curled up into a smile at the title he used, “General? Please, you left and now we’re suddenly using formal terms on each other?” He teased.
The stellaron hunter smiled at the teasing, but he wasn’t happy with how the other brushed off his apology. “I apologize, I just thought it had been so long and I wasn’t sure how you were going to react to this— to me being he-” Jing Yuan quickly cut him off, “I’ve been waiting for this, craving to see you once again,” he walked around the bedroom, taking his armor off, “I’m not going to let the past ruin this for me, Blade.” The general kept speaking while shirtless. “Make yourself comfortable,” he pointed at the bed, “I assume you’re staying for a bit?” Blade smiled to himself and slowly walked up to the bed, taking a seat on the edge of it and watching Jing Yuan comfortably doing his nightly routine.
“You assume right, Jing Yuan.” Blade’s tone was monotonous, but he couldn’t help it, he has been speaking like this for years without ever warming up to anyone. His expression was way different though, he had this almost imperceptible smile and his posture now seemed relaxed. Blade wanted this moment for years, to finally watch the love of his life do his nightly routine while he just sat back and admired him from head to toe, almost worshipping him with simply his gaze.
There was still tension in the air, they haven’t done this in forever, after all. Jing Yuan was hesitant to speak about how he felt, he simply glanced at Blade while continuing to get ready to head to bed. “Forgive me if this is too personal of a question, but was this part of that…script you have mentioned a few times before leaving?” Blade wasn’t fond of speaking about this topic, especially when it came to almost abandoning places and people he grew attached to, which he rarely became attached to others. He stared at the general, not needing to say a single word when Jing Yuan turned around and started taking his gloves off. “I see.” The general said under his breath.
To this day, the stellaron hunter admired how Jing Yuan read him to filth, he could never lie to him, he never even needed to speak at times for the general to almost read his mind. He didn’t mind this, sometimes he was not in the mood to properly explain what he was currently feeling, and Jing Yuan’s ability of reading right through him was quite handy in those moments.
Oh did he feel guilty though, having to abandon Jing Yuan like that and knowing that he will certainly outlive him due to his immortality felt like a spear piercing through his chest every single time the thought of it came back, he’d usually numb the feeling out and normally it would work, but ever since he came back to the Xianzhou Luofu, the desire to catch a single glimpse of Jing Yuan grew stronger by the day. He was afraid that if he ignored this desire, it would overwhelm him and he’d become mara-struck, and he did not want to call Kafka to help him for something he could have easily avoided by getting over the bigger fear of being rejected by the general after how many years have passed, and yet, he’d completely understand if it happened.
He was sitting on Jing Yuan’s bed though, and he was content that the general didn’t hold a grudge or grew resentful for what he did. If it was anyone else, Jing Yuan would consider this behavior unacceptable and would bluntly reject them, but Blade was different.
Tonight felt different, in a lovely way. They both had so many questions for each other, yet all they both wanted was to be in each other’s arms and have that warmth they yearned for. None of them were going to express this feeling to each other though, it felt almost too soon and Jing Yuan was still hurt; being left behind without one word would hurt anyone. He didn’t hold it against Blade, the stellaron hunters were serious with their script and they would all follow it, so he did not want to blame Blade for it, he blamed whoever was in charge of the so-called script.
Jing Yuan stared down at the table in front of him while taking some of his accessories and part of his armor off, all whilst having a blank expression on his face and thinking of what to do next. He deeply inhaled and let out a long sigh, closed his eyes and turned around to face the stellaron hunter in front of him. “I’ve had a rough day, you being here makes it infinitely better, but I must do my usual night routine before going to bed. Would you like some tea while you wait for me to finish up?” The general offered Blade a welcoming smile, persuading him to stay. Deep down he was afraid that Blade would flee the second he took his eyes off of him without a word, even if he got some reassurement that maybe their issues would be completely solved soon.
“That’d be lovely, general.'' His voice resonated throughout Jing Yuan’s body. Blade was not the type to speak much, he’d let Jing Yuan speak most of the time. The general missed the part where Blade purposely used his title as a way to tease him and instead focused on the sound of his voice— warm, but he missed Blade’s voice making him feel almost weak way more. His tone made him feel at ease, or at home. Blade was home to Jing Yuan; the entire time Blade wasn’t at the general’s home, it felt empty, and he felt like there was no reason to come back home if he wasn’t going to see his beloved. That feeling of nothingness in his chest was gone at last, and it may have been overwhelming at this very moment for not only him— but for Blade too.
The stellaron hunter’s head was only filled with a single thought now: he must make up with the general. His heart couldn’t take it anymore, an eternity of being separated by that damned script was over at last, and all he wanted was to be in those arms again. Those arms that wrapped around his body and embraced him so nicely, so attractively. He desperately needed Jing Yuan’s warmth and affection, even if it was too much to handle, being overwhelmed with affection and pure love was not a problem for Blade at all.
His chest ached every night and he tossed and turned in bed for however long they were separated for, he no longer cared about the amount of time, all he cared about was making things back to how they used to be before he disappeared without a trace. He was going to achieve this no matter what, and he will find a way, no matter how long it takes him.
Blade made sure to take a look around Jing Yuan’s room while he was in the kitchen preparing tea for his dear guest. His eyes scanned through the room and tried pointing out any details that might have changed, aside from just recent pictures of him with his son and with his pet Mimi, the decoration remained the same, maybe Jing Yuan moved the furniture a bit to not get bored of the same layout every single day, but that’s about it. While the general enjoyed change, his bedroom was not something he enjoyed changing, he was always here for sleeping overnight or taking a quick nap, so Jing Yuan didn’t feel the need to change it around often.
Shortly after Blade stood up to pick the framed pictures up and take a closer look, Jing Yuan stepped into the room again with a cup of hot tea on top of a white and yellow ceramic coaster, the pattern resembled him quite a lot, and Blade smiled at the resemblance and thinking how cute it was. He reached both of his hands to receive the cup from his hands and immediately took a sip of it, ginger tea; “he still remembers.” Blade thought while staring down at the tea inside of the cup, gently moving it in circles and then taking another sip, how he adored the sensation of the tea flowing down his throat and burning it, a nice burn.
That smile on Blade’s face was all Jing Yuan could ever ask for, to think that such a small detail as recalling his favorite tea flavors would make him so content. That smile of his… how he missed seeing it with his eyes and not through his mind’s eye, the second Jing Yuan caught a glimpse of those lips turning into a sweet smile, he felt a shock of electricity run throughout his entire body, but he felt the need to hide how excited he was for now.
Jing Yuan cleared his throat and looked away quickly enough to make it seem like he wasn’t just shamelessly staring at Blade’s lips, or his entire face. “Well, I will be washing up now. You can walk around the house if you wish, just be sure you do not get caught by Yanqing, he’s been training more than usual lately.” He winked at Blade and swiftly made his way to take a bath, not letting the stellaron hunter utter a single word out even if he was about to open his mouth to say something, he basically cut him off without even needing to say a single word.
It’s been so long since Blade felt like he was at home, how he missed the scent of Jing Yuan and the comfort of his bed. Though he felt kind of… out of place, he wondered if the general had brought anyone over in the time they were broken up, but honestly just the idea of it infuriated him and made him jealous, even if he did not want to admit it. He tried ignoring the thought and simply sat on Jing Yuan’s bed once again, feeling the soft texture of the bedsheets against his fingertips brought back memories of them having their bodies pressed up against each other, providing Blade that warmth he seeked and cherished while they both slept. Nobody radiated this amount of heat, it was sort of admirable, Jing Yuan had an internal heater and Blade wondered how he didn’t get a heatstroke under all of those layers of armor.
Without even thinking, Blade got comfortable to the point of laying down on the general’s bed, inhaling his scent, he couldn’t help himself. The stellaron hunter grabbed some of the messed up, dark red blankets and stuck his nose in it, taking in that citrus and woody-like scent and closing his eyes to fully enjoy the memories it brought back, how he stuck his nose in the crook of Jing Yuan’s neck when he was hugging his waist from behind when they were snuggled up late at night. It was kind of endearing to Blade how the general always wore his cologne, even when he was just going to take a short nap or sleep through the night, he was almost obsessed with smelling good for Blade, and the stellaron hunter was not going to lie, he became almost obsessed with it.
The time they were apart, Blade desperately looked for the general’s cologne in any perfume shop she came across, but it was always a waste of time as he could never find one remotely similar to the one Jing Yuan owned, maybe he got a special one made just for him in the Xianzhou Luofu and he was never aware of this? If so, he wished he knew sooner, that way he could have saved himself countless trips to different stores.
There was no proper way to explain what he was currently feeling, it was something between ecstasy and just pure joy that he was finally back in this house, in Jing Yuan’s bedroom to be more specific. This scent felt so intoxicating to the point that he had to fight the urge to keep breathing in the scent from the bedsheets in case the general came back into his bedroom and just witnessed him doing this like he was some sort of creep, doing this after years of no contact was just being straight up shameless.
Blade managed to pull himself back to reality after a few minutes of just letting his imagination run wild, he was not going to risk getting caught by Jing Yuan and having to explain what he was doing would be embarrassing and he didn’t wanna have to go through that. Thank God that he decided to stop it just in time, because after a minute or two of stopping, Jing Yuan walked through the door and found Blade laying on bed with his phone out, scrolling through his text messages without texting anyone. Blade was facing away so he couldn’t see the general walk in, but he most likely heard him come in.
Why was he just aimlessly scrolling through his phone though? Jing Yuan was sure that his steps were not exactly light, if Blade was doing this to avoid eye contact or speaking, it wasn’t working out for him. The general understood that it has been a good while since they have spoken or even looked at each other, but outright ignoring him wasn’t a good move for him if he really wanted to make up. He slowly walked up to the side that Blade was facing and sat down on the edge of the bed in front of him, finally getting his attention even though he was purposely moving loudly around the room so he could be noticed quite easily.
It only took a few seconds to notice how Blade had his legs and one arm wrapped around a pillow, almost as if he was hiding himself from Jing Yuan. Why would he hide? What does he even have to hide? “What’s wrong, Bl-” “Can I wash up as well? I haven’t had the chance to do that all day.” Blade interrupted Jing Yuan, he asked this in an agitated tone, his voice sounded breathier, and they haven’t exchanged much words today but this was certainly not normal, and Jing Yuan could not help but be intrigued by what caused this behavior from Blade.
Blade stood up as he asked if he could be excused out of the room, Jing Yuan simply watched him hurriedly make his way over to the washroom, and while this behavior wasn’t normal in Blade, he was simply going to give him space and let him explain himself later on. “There are some folded towels, I’m sure you know where, dear.” The stellaron nodded and didn’t say a single word, swiftly stepping out of the room and rushing to get himself cleaned.
He wasn’t going to admit the fact that Jing Yuan looked so attractive when he stepped in the room, at least not right now. The general surely did that on purpose, why else was he just wearing nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist? It’s been so long since they’ve seen each other, he couldn’t be purposely trying to rile Blade up, right? Aeons, maybe the stellaron hunter was simply overthinking, or maybe it’s so long that he hasn’t felt Jing Yuan’s touch and this was causing him to get so easily aroused.
After preparing his towel and getting ready for his shower, Blade stepped in the shower and let the warm water run down his body and relax his tense muscles, he closed his eyes and let out a long sigh; trying to keep his composure was certainly difficult, and Jing Yuan was surely not making it any easier. Why did he have to be dressed like that? Why did Blade inhale that scent when he knew perfectly the kind of effect that it had on him? It’s just been so long…he could not stop himself from doing that, he missed it all so much and now that it was just in arm’s reach, it was so damn hard to stop.
Was Jing Yuan aware of what he was doing? He surely did, this was a method he used to seduce Blade and it worked every single time without fail. The stellaron hunter just simply could not take his gaze away from Jing Yuan every time, but this was something that happened when they saw each other constantly. Right now, it’s been an eternity since Blade has felt this way without purposely causing it to himself, but seeing as the general was making moves on him… Blade couldn’t resist him, and Jing Yuan knew this perfectly well.
If the stellaron hunter was being fully honest with himself, he didn’t expect any of this to happen— if anything, he thought that Jing Yuan was simply going to lash out on him the moment they saw each other, and he was willing to accept any of the consequences his actions had. He was expecting to be on his knees, apologizing and just listening to the general scold him with that stern voice and expression of him, he could be so gentle towards Blade but the moment that he was upset, even the stellaron hunter feared what might be of him. Better yet, Blade thought that he was going to just look around the room for a bit and then join the rest of the team to complete the pending mission they had, “I shouldn’t be here.” That was the fun of it, sneaking around and seeing his ex lover, no? Now he was in Jing Yuan’s shower, heavily rethinking his decision.
Was he ready? Yes, he was. Blade reached for the towel that hung from the shower curtain rod and slowly dried himself up, he stared at the white wall and then walked up to stand in front of the mirror, he ruffled his hair up with the towel in order to somewhat dry it. Now he realized, he didn’t have any clothes here, he wasn’t planning to stay overnight so now he only has the clothes he was currently wearing. Fuck. Blade had no other option but to wrap the towel around his body and walk into Jing Yuan’s room again, maybe some of his old clothes were still in the general’s wardrobe, but if he got rid of his clothes Blade was not going to blame him. The stellaron hunter sighed as he reached for the golden doorknob, twisted it to the side and pulled the door open.
It felt like this was a walk of shame, walking around his ex-lover’s house with just a towel wrapped around him as if it was something that happened often. It did though, it happened almost every night he spent in this house in the past, but it was different now, he felt flustered and definitely embarrassed. When he reached Jing Yuan’s room, the man was just brushing his hair until he heard Blade’s footsteps, the noise quickly caught his attention and he turned around with a gentle smile plastered all over his face. “Do you need anything, dear?” Jing Yuan’s train of thought was interrupted abruptly, oh how much he missed this sight and the way it made him feel.
Jing Yuan could have sworn that as soon as he got a glimpse of Blade looking like that, his heart dropped to his stomach, of course this was an exaggeration but there was no way that his heart didn’t explode with excitement the second he opened his eyes. The general was shamelessly staring and checking Blade out, eyeing him up and down with his mouth slightly agape from the shock of seeing him so… exposed. At this rate, Jing Yuan was eating Blade up with his gaze. “Clothes.” Blade answered his query, “What? Oh!” The general jumped up and walked up to one of his drawers and searched through it, he then grabbed an oversized black t-shirt and handed it to Blade. Their height difference wasn’t huge, they practically wore the same size, yet Jing Yuan loved buying oversized shirts for the sole purpose of seeing Blade wear them. “I apologize but… I got rid of every pair of undergarments you left behind. I thought you were-” “No need to apologize, I will simply… let this cover me.” Blade pointed at the shirt and towel.
“I’m grateful you’re even letting me stay the night, I’m still not sure what I did to deserve your forgiveness or kindness.” Blade stepped closer to Jing Yuan and held his face with one hand. “Now turn around and let me put this on.” The general tilted his head and let out a short giggle, then turned around to give Blade some privacy, “I do not see what the problem is, Blade. I’ve seen more of you.” This remark made Blade’s stomach feel like it did a somersault. Oh, he’s definitely doing this on purpose and was not trying to hide his intentions at all, and if Blade was honest, he enjoyed it a lot. The stellaron hunter was not going to play dumb on this occasion.
“Alright, you may look now.” Blade told the general, and Jing Yuan quickly looked back to take another look at him. That shirt suits Blade so well, and he couldn’t make the fact that he was checking him out more obvious. The amount of tension that was just waiting to be broken kept getting bigger, but none of them were making moves on the other. Just the fact that Blade was wearing nothing underneath that shirt was making Jing Yuan get so many scenarios, and he wasn’t sure if Blade was okay with him acting on them.
None of them uttered a word, but they were heavily lusting for the other and were too afraid to let the other know about how they felt, yet it was so clear based on the way they were eyeing each other. Standing around and doing nothing was not helping at all. The idea of make-up sex wasn’t so bad, right? The two haven’t seen or felt each other in forever and they were not exactly in the mood for talking, they needed to make up in some sort of way, and feeling each other up didn’t seem so bad. They craved each other, and if they were going to talk about their feelings, later would be fine; the stellaron hunter was spending the night.
This wasn’t part of their plan, neither of them were expecting to feel this way, mainly because of the amount of time without each other, but this was also the cause of Jing Yuan practically throwing himself on Blade. The general harshly grabbed his lover’s face and pressed their lips together, his breathing was slightly agitated so the kiss started nice and slow, Blade just let it happen to him, he even complied. The stellaron hunter wrapped his arms around Jing Yuan’s neck and pressed their bodies together, deepening the kiss by tilting his head a bit and let the general take control. Thy both missed each other so fucking much, the taste and feeling of their lips against each other, it all felt so heavenly and almost surreal.
Maybe it was out of desperation, but they could not pull away from each other. Blade's lips felt so intoxicating in such a nice way, and Jing Yuan did not want to stop this kiss anytime soon. Their lips felt like they were made for each other, and neither of them were planning on stopping soon, the way Jing Yuan’s tongue kept fighting for dominance and the way Blade just gave up something he would normally fight for when they kissed this way just aroused the other like never before. This feeling was addictive, how did they go for so long without seeing each other? The kiss started to get sloppy at some point, they were hungry for each other’s lips, for each other’s touch.
Jing Yuan slid his hands down Blade’s figure, holding his waist and lifting him up so the stellaron hunter could wrap his legs around the general’s hips to carry him easily; they never separated their lips though. The both of them longed for this moment, to feel each other’s warmth. The only reason they stopped making out was simply because they needed to catch their breath, the way they looked at each other, such a longing stare, as if they craved more than this. Jing Yuan made his way over to the bed and gently set Blade down, catching his breath and yet planting a plethora of kisses all over his face, the stellaron hunter looked so adorable under him. Blade’s face was red out of embarrassment, he could no longer deny how flustered he was anymore, not like he wanted to anyway, Jing Yuan would find out or purposely make him show how flustered he was.
The stellaron hunter could not help but smile and let out short giggles when Jing Yuan pressed kisses all over his face and jawline, the general just wanted to show Blade how much he loved him by kissing every inch of his face down to his neck, which he desperately sucked on Blade’s skin to mark him up even if it was temporary. Blade immediately threw his head back when Jing Yuan left hickeys on his neck, he knew that was his sensitive spot and was most definitely taking advantage of this knowledge, not like Blade minded, but some sweet moans escaped his mouth and made him immediately press one of his hands against his mouth to cover or at least muffle any other sound that wanted to leave his mouth; Jing Yuan didn’t appreciate this action very much.
Just as quickly as Blade covered his mouth, Jing Yuan took a hold of the man’s wrist and pulled it away from his face, “I need to hear you.” The general purred against Blade’s neck and bit Blade’s neck, sucking on that same spot right after for a good few seconds and pulled away to reveal a pinkish spot left behind that will soon turn into a purple colored spot instead, leaving a huge hickey on his neck. Jing Yuan wasn’t going to stop there, or anytime soon. All Blade wanted to do now was lay down and let the general do whatever pleased him, Jing Yuan deserved this after waiting for so damn long without even voicing a single complaint to Blade.
“I’ve craved this for so long,” Jing Yuan moaned and began to take his shirt off, once again revealing that toned figure Blade got so easily aroused by, “I’ve craved to see you, to feel you, to taste you for so fucking long that at some point I began to think I was going to go crazy from the simple fact of not having you in my life, Blade.” The general slid his hands in Blade’s shirt while he spoke, gently massaging his waist and pressing kisses on the stellaron hunter’s chest through the shirt fabric.
Jing Yuan wanted to rip that shirt in two and expose Blade’s chest and the scars that adorned his skin, the general couldn’t even begin to express how much he loved Blade’s pecs— he could show it instead. The white haired man grabbed the hem of Blade’s shirt and looked into his eyes, raising his eyebrows as if asking “May I?” without the need to even speak the words out loud, Blade nodded and the general immediately slid the shirt off. The moment that black shirt was off, Jing Yuan stopped to admire Blade’s figure. His battle scars, his rough skin, how pretty his breasts looked; no matter how positive or negative, Jing Yuan loved every inch of Blade.
The mere fact that the general of the Xianzhou Luofu admired him this way every single time they made love drove Blade crazy, he considered himself lucky. The feeling was mutual, Jing Yuan felt just as lucky that a stellaron hunter such as Blade gave him a chance, not only that, but Blade also trusted him enough to share bits of his past and missions; only him. To think that even though both of them craved this moment for so long, yet all they could do for a good few minutes was run their hands all over each other, taking their time to show how much they both needed their skin against each other. Jing Yuan held Blade’s waist and leaned closer to Blade’s face, after a second or two, their lips were attached once again. They could not let go of each other, but the general wanted to worship his lover so badly.
The general began to leave a trail of kisses all over Blade’s jawline, neck, shoulders, and chest; not one spot of Blade’s skin was left untouched by Jing Yuan’s lips. All the stellaron hunter could do was to hold the general’s hair and gently caress his head as he let out quiet, sweet whimpers while Jing Yuan rolled his tongue on top of Blade’s nipples. His neck and chest were both sensitive areas, and the general was absolutely doing this on purpose to see the stellaron hunter’s reactions, the way Blade rolled his eyes back and threw his head back, placing his arm over his mouth to muffle any sounds once again was enough to rile Jing Yuan up.
“Did you not hear me correctly, dear?” Jing Yuan questioned in a stern tone and harshly grabbed his wrist, withdrawing Blade’s arm from his face again, “I need to hear you.” He made sure to emphasize that he needed to hear the stellaron hunter’s sounds, so he grabbed both of Blade’s arms and effortlessly pinned his wrists against the bed right above his head with one hand. “Keep them here for me, will you, sweetheart?” Blade could only nod. Jing Yuan slowly slid his hands down Blade’s body, taking his time to slowly massage areas like his lower abdomen and inner thighs until he started getting a bit too close in between his legs, this caused the stellaron hunter to shiver in excitement and look down at the general’s hands, his eyes wide open in eagerness.
It didn’t take long for Jing Yuan to slide a finger in Blade’s oh so wet pussy, perhaps they have been away for far too long to the point where the general’s voice and a bit of foreplay had Blade so soaked already, his finger slipped right in. Maybe Blade was ready, but Jing Yuan wanted a bit more foreplay, so he slid in another digit. As desperate as the general was to go rough on the man that left him for so long as a way to avenge himself, he instead took it slow for a while to tease him, maybe to hear those precious moans slipping through Blade’s ravishing lips and to admire how beautiful he looked with his back arched & head thrown back from the pleasure Blade was experiencing just from Jing Yuan fingering him. Blade looked so beautiful, so vulnerable; he loved every second of it and wanted to see more of these reactions.
Decisions are so hard to make for Jing Yuan when his lover is in this vulnerable position, part of him wishes to be gentle with his touch, to take his sweet time to make Blade feel every ounce of pleasure to the point of overstimulating him. The other part desired to be harsh and aggressive with every action, still overstimulating Blade, but from having so many rounds that they both lost count. The general just decided to take his sweet time, for now.
Not many words were spoken by Blade up until Jing Yuan kissed from his neck down to his lower abdomen; as if Blade didn’t feel like he was burning up inside, this caused him to plead “More.. G- General, please.” desperately begging for Jing Yuan to stop teasing him. Oh Eons, how could the general say no to his lover’s request? Maybe he didn’t mind being called ‘General’ by him, it certainly helped with convincing him. Almost immediately, Jing Yuan attached his tongue to Blade’s clit, sucking on it like he hadn’t had a meal in ages. Something that felt like shocks of electricity ran down Blade’s spine, causing him to instantly arch his back once he felt Jing Yuan’s soft lips and cold tongue against his pussy, he opened his mouth wide and gradually got louder the rougher and sloppier the general ate him out. He’s been untouched for so damn long, he came within minutes of Jing Yuan sliding his tongue inside of him and eating him out as if this was his last meal; it felt almost like the first time they had sex.
“Think you can last for another round, sweetheart?” The general licked Blade’s cum off of his own lips, and of course, the stellaron hunter couldn’t refuse. Blade eagerly nodded and let out a faint “Mhm.” Was he overstimulated already? His breathing was certainly accelerated, but he wanted so much more; he wasn’t alone. “You’re doing so good for me so far, dear.” The way Jing Yuan praised him every time they had sex drove him crazy, especially in this moment, he’s craved for words of affirmation from the general, he’s longed for them, he has longed for his touch. Blade no longer felt ashamed to accept the fact that he had yearned for the general in all of the time they were separated, in fact, he no longer felt ashamed in general; too busy feeling pleasure to think about anything else that did not involve Jing Yuan.
Right after Blade agreed to another round, his lover got on top of him and once again pinned his wrists against the mattress, he began to press soft kisses all over Blade’s face as his other hand was busy taking his boxers off. The stellaron hunter did not bother to look down at Jing Yuan’s now freed cock, he wanted to feel the size of it inside of him so desperately that his hips started moving on their own, rubbing his weeping cunt on the general’s cock and feeling how wet the tip was from pre-cum. “My beautiful boy,” The praise causes Blade to stop his hips from moving, he wasn’t used to this, “I wish to show you just how much I missed you through my every action.” He aligned the tip of his cock with Blade’s entrance, teasingly rubbing circles on it.
Waiting wasn’t Blade’s strength, and he couldn’t stand nor did he appreciate the amount of teasing his lover did to him, so he wrapped his arms around Jing Yuan’s neck once again and pulled him closer to him, whispering a desperate, “Make love to me already, general. Don’t make me wait.” In between shallow breaths from overstimulation. Blade’s command was fulfilled immediately, and so was he by Jing Yuan’s cock. He wasn’t sure if it was the general’s size or the overstimulation, but Blade let out a moan almost similar to a scream out of pleasure, “Fuck-!” he couldn’t even speak out a coherent sentence, this all felt so heavenly. Without even asking, Jing Yuan pushed himself deeper and this made Blade buck his hips up— it was too much.
It felt like Blade was going to break in two, and Jing Yuan showed no mercy, he felt undeserving of it anyway. The general did not wait too long before thrusting his hips, and Blade’s sweet sounds weren’t helping with his speed, he wanted to hear his already broken moans slip out of his lover’s mouth, just like he imagined when he masturbated to the thought of him, he had thought of this moment countless of times and it finally became reality. To see Blade in such a vulnerable state, his eyes rolled to the back of his head, his fingernails digging into Jing Yuan’s back as he sped his thrusts up, mercilessly pounding the man below him. The general swore in his head that he wanted to be sweet and gentle, but the way Blade looked underneath him just made him want to see more, he swore it was just going to be a romantic love-making session.
Who could blame the general? Blade’s current appearance, his scars, his arched back— everything, it would all simply put any renaissance paintings to shame with how beautiful Blade looked in comparison. Jing Yuan just loved to observe Blade’s facial expressions as he made love to him like this, and he wanted to see more of it, more of Blade moaning his name out along with a few pleads with moans in between them, “Jing Yua- ah!” he brokenly moaned out, “Please, more. Holy fuck!” Blade managed to clearly say. “Alright, sweetheart.” Jing Yuan continued to ram his cock inside of Blade, mercilessly speeding up and taking a hold of Blade’s thighs and harshly pressing them against his lover’s chest. The general was so out of breath but this position allowed him to press his deeper inside of Blade, “You want me to breed you? Is that it, hm?”
The speed at Jing Yuan was pounding him at, and the position they were at did not allow Blade to form a rational thought, this felt beyond pleasure. If Blade continued to scratch his lover like that, he may draw blood at some point, and the general did not mind that, it stung so fucking good. Oh how much the two fantasized of this, of being this desperate and needy for each other. “I’ll make sure to fill you up to the brim, my pretty boy.” Jing Yuan’s thrusts began to get sloppy by the minute, and yet he was still managing to fill Blade’s insides up so perfectly with each thrust, his head was blanking, all he could say was “Mhm!” in agreement every time the general asked him something.
All Jing Yuan could focus on was breeding Blade, even though he was fully aware it was biologically impossible for this to happen, the thought was still there and Jing Yuan was eager to somehow make it happen. The general managed to somehow speed up and press his lips against Blade’s, their moans and low grunts now muffled by the kiss. Blade was so close to his climax once again, so Jing Yuan kept the speed he was at steady while still making out with his lover. “A-ah! Fuck- I’m c- cumming” Blade was almost screaming it out for the neighbor’s to listen in to, thankfully the general’s room was soundproof… for many reasons, this being one of them.
Blade felt almost lightheaded, the way Jing Yuan was practically using his body and constantly switching speeds made Blade unsure of what was coming next, he was overstimulated and if he was being completely truthful, on the verge of passing out. The stellaron hunter’s hand traveled up to Jing Yuan’s hair, he grabbed a handful and gently pulled on it as his body trembled at the overwhelming amount of pleasure, he took deep breaths, or at least tried to; he was so fucking close, and the general knew this well, so he kept thrusting his cock deep inside of Blade’s cunt instead of going faster.
At this point, Blade couldn’t even let out a single noise out of his mouth, he simply closed his eyes and had his mouth open but not a noise came out, he was too focused on trying to cum as Jing Yuan fucked his brains out, the general gripped onto Blade’s waist and pulled him closer to push himself further inside, he wanted to cum at the same time. Both of their lower abdomens were burning up and each second that passed it seemed that Blade tightened around Jing Yuan’s cock, causing him to slow down his thrusts and almost heighten his senses and urge to cum inside of Blade. “I’ll claim you as mine all over again, Blade.”
The second those words came out of Jing Yuan’s mouth, both of them reached their orgasm, their eyes rolling back from the immeasurable amount of pleasure, loud moans and grunts escaping their mouth, Blade’s nails digged into the general’s nape as he came deep inside of the stellaron hunter, thrusting his hips a couple more times to make sure not a single drop of his cum dripped out of Blade’s pussy, overstimulating him even further. “I can’t- take anymore.” Blade said, his chest heaving and his eyes still closed, wanting to avoid eye contact with the general. Jing Yuan rested his forehead on top of his lover’s, his cock still inside of him.
Although Blade’s legs were shaking, he managed to wrap them around Jing Yuan’s hips and his arms around his neck again. Both of them were just quietly trying to steady their breathing to properly talk. “I was always yours, Jing Yuan.” He offered a reassuring smile and removed the hair in front of Jing Yuan’s face, pressing a soft smooch on his forehead and then gently massaged his shoulders. Blade was so soft and gentle with his touch, making Jing Yuan collapse on top of him, he hid his face on the crook of his lover’s neck, inhaling his scent, a mix of sweat and that intoxicating cologne he used. He admired the marks he left on Blade’s neck, maybe he got too possessive? He was sure that Blade would appreciate them as well.
Blade’s arms wrapped tightly around the general made him feel so drowsy, he felt safe at last. “I missed you, dear.” he kissed Blade’s neck and rubbed his nose on the same spot he kissed. “I think you made that quite clear, darling.” Blade teased, caressing his head. “Did I? A little verbal reminder doesn’t hurt.” Jing Yuan massaged Blade’s hips as a way to relieve him of any pain he might’ve been in. “Mm, I know. I missed you just as much, you were in my thoughts everyday, Jing Yuan.” “As were you, Blade”
At last, Blade’s thoughts were quiet. It had been a while since they both felt this way; reassured. Silence filled the room up until Jing Yuan heard a quiet snore from above his head, he lifted his head up out of curiosity and saw his lover now peacefully resting under him, letting out sleeping noises— quiet snores and sighs. He looked so beautiful under the moonlight that shined through the window, he appeared to almost be glowing, and the general couldn’t take his eyes off of him. Still looking at Blade, as if his eyes were glued, he got up and made sure to clean up Blade and himself, they may still be sweaty but he was also out of energy. He made sure to be careful with his every move so he didn’t wake his lover up, but he ended up failing.
“Jing Yuan..? Don’t leave, please.” His eyes were still closed but he was awake, he moved aside just a bit and laid on his side to let Jing Yuan spoon him, something he would not usually let happen no matter who was in control before. The general smiled at this and did not waste a second to lay beside him, he held a blanket and made sure to cover both of them in case either of them got cold, but he highly doubted it, as their body warmth was enough. Jing Yuan pulled Blade closer by the waist and tightly secured his arms around his lover, he pressed a kiss on his shoulder and Blade quietly spoke. “Will you give me a second chance, Jing Yuan?”
That question was quite silly, as both of them considered the other a lover, but Jing Yuan did not hesitate to answer his query. “Yes, dear.” He was direct with it, “I promise I will not mess it up this time, General.” Both smiled. “You better keep that promise, dear.” He teased, getting back at Blade for earlier. “I love you, Blade. my heart is full of you.” The general wished to pour his heart out, but his exhaustion was taking over. “I love you too, Jing Yuan. I’m happy I decided to stay.” Blade reassured the general.
Their hearts were full with happiness and love at long last, they craved this for so long it felt almost like a lie. Holding each other just confirmed it was completely real, so warm. It did not take long for the two to drift off to sleep, peacefully holding each other, their guards fully down and not a single worry in their heads. Everything they ever wanted was finally here, and neither of them was going to let each other go all over again.
