Work Text:
Hao had heard this song too many times.
The dance wasn’t hard but it was full of tiny details, movements that were interpreted differently by every member. They had been working through the song from the top, repeating each line to get every angle right, their breath choked out in the increasing humidity of the practice room. Lyrics echoed through Hao’s brainstem like an ache. The rubber soles of their shoes squeaked against the floor in an identical pattern.
And then, Hanbin’s voice cut through his trance.
“Ricky and Kim Gyuvin!”
Hao looked up, into the reflection of the practice room mirror.
Ricky and Gyuvin were out of formation, pulling on each other’s clothes with smiles on their faces. They were just messing around, but Hanbin rounded on them, his gaze steely and serious.
“Outside,” he said sharply. “Now.”
Hao slid to the floor as Ricky and Gyuvin limped off to get chewed out. He took the opportunity to rest, chugging water from his bottle and wiping his mouth.
From where he sat on the floor, he could see Hanbin standing outside the frosted glass practice room walls. The line of his shoulders was tense under his damp shirt, his brows intensely furrowed.
Hao couldn’t remember the last time he had seen Hanbin relaxed. Maybe when Hanbin was asleep. Maybe not even then.
Hao knew this was the result of the job of being the leader of a fresh-faced Produce group. Mnet had placed their faith and investment into Hanbin during Boys Planet. Fans had placed their faith and investment into Hanbin during Boys Planet. Wakeone had placed their faith and investment into Hanbin after Boys Planet. Mcountdown had placed their faith and investment into Hanbin on his Mcountdown hosting position, and several other award shows after that.
So, Hanbin didn’t relax. He wore the stress gracefully until he couldn’t, and it manifested in other places.
Hao was grateful that the axe never fell on him, no matter what kind of mischief he got up to. It wasn’t necessarily due to his age; Jiwoong would get scolded any day of the week before Hanbin would get mad at Hao.
Maybe it was because at the end of their workday, Hao would come to Hanbin to massage his muscles with a smile. Maybe it was just Hao’s presence around Hanbin that seemed to soften the creases in his face.
Maybe it was the fact they had been dating since the start of the year. Hao wasn’t going to make assumptions.
It was a fun little perk to escape Hanbin’s scolding, but it mostly meant nothing. Hanbin was a good leader, and his frustrations with the team members were normally justified and short lived.
It wasn’t until their comeback was around the corner and Hanbin’s moods had gotten worse, that Hao decided to do something about it.
Hao and Taerae were sitting in the dorm enjoying a coffee break (sugar free Coke and Monster Energy respectively) when the dorm door banged open. Yujin and Gunwook ducked through, their faces red.
“Watch out for Hanbin-hyung when he comes home,'' Gunwook said as they scurried down the hall. “He’s mad.”
“What did you two do?” asked Taerae.
“Nothing big, I promise.”
When the click of their doors echoed down the hall, Taerae let out a little sigh and turned back to Hao.
“Hanbin hyung’s stressed, huh?” Taerae asked, in the kind of faux casual way that someone who wants to broach a topic they had been considering for an enormously long time would do.
“Yeah,” Hao said, staring off into the distance. “I think I need to do something about it.”
“Ah,” Taerae said. He was pleased, Hao could tell. “What were you thinking?”
Hao swallowed his Coke, and placed the bottle firmly down on the counter.
“I’m going to turn Hanbin into my dog,” said Hao.
Taerae’s drink went everywhere. He managed to block the majority of the neon orange spray with his palm, sparing most of the couch and coffee table from another stain they would have to lie about to management.
Hao wrinkled his nose. “Oh that’s gross.”
“Shu-shut up.” Taerae hissed, his face beet red, his hand dripping with spit and sugar-free peach Monster Energy. “What do you mean you’re going to turn Hanbin-hyung into your dog?”
Hao blinked at him as if it was obvious.
“I’m going to book a hotel room,” he said clearly. “Ask him to drive. Make him take off his clothes and sit on the floor and bark for four hours.”
Taerae was now nearing a shade of red that was bordering on purple. “Is this-is this a sexual thing?” he sputtered.
Lord, Hao missed Kuanjui sometimes. Communicating his exploits with Taerae was like trying to explain himself to a nun.
“Taerae,” Hao said, closing his eyes. “You cannot be this naive.”
“Look, Hao-hyung, I’m not into BDSM–”
“Haven’t you seen Love and Leashes , Taerae?” Hao sighed. “This is normal. This is boring. Back in China I was seeing this guy, he was in international finance, best man at a wedding. Anyway every so often he just needed someone to treat him like a dog. Some men need that, Taerae. They just get so worn down by society that the best thing that they can think of is having some hot twink spit in their mouth.”
“Can I have this pear juice?” Gyuvin yelled from the kitchen.
“Go ahead,” Hao yelled back.
Taerae’s fingers were cracked open just enough so his eyes could peek through. “You spat in someone’s mouth?”
Hao gave Taerae a lopsided smile, and finished off his Coke in one swig.
“I know what men want, Taerae” Hao said, patting Taerae’s knee. “You can thank me when I’m done with him.”
✦
Truth be told, Hao didn't think Hanbin needed a hot twink to spit in his mouth. Hanbin wasn't an investment banker, he was a kpop idol with one too many side jobs.
What Hao had in mind for Hanbin was a spa day. A low-autonomy vacation, where he could sit back and let Hao take care of him in a way that didn't involve pesky things like schedules, Kakaotalk, or thoughts.
Booking a hotel without using his credit card ended up being easier than expected. Hao had made a quiet mutual arrangement with one of their managers (blackmailed him by threatening to tell the Wakeone CEO that he was the one who scratched the company car) and in exchange, Hao was able to book a hotel for one night stay without his legal name being on permanent record.
A date night was arranged on the eve of one of their precious days off. Hanbin had much fewer of those in the bank than the other boys, so when Hao suggested they go out for the evening, he was resistant.
“Why don’t we stay inside?” Hanbin asked, arms wrapped around Hao’s waist, sparkly eyes big and shiny. “We can watch a movie.”
From the living room, Hao could hear Taerae swear at his PUBG opponent clearly enough that walls might not have existed. Hanbin smiled weakly.
Hao rolled his eyes. “I wanna go out.”
“I know, beautiful,” Hanbin said sweetly. “But I’ve been really tired these days.”
He buried his face in Hao’s sweater, his breath warm through the fabric. “Do you have anywhere you want to go?”
Hao pretended to think about it, tapping a finger to his lip, as if he hadn’t booked the place a week ago when their schedules had been released.
“Yeah, kinda. I have some places I bookmarked on Kakao.”
Hanbin sighed, world-weary and tired, and pulled back. But when he looked up at Hao, his expression was nothing but warm.
“Let’s go then,” he said. “I’ll drive.”
When the blinking cursor on Hao’s map guided them to the hotel he had booked well in advance, Hanbin shot him a look.
“I thought we were going out.” Hanbin said as he pulled into an underground parking spot. “Why are we at a hotel?”
“We are going out,” said Hao. “We’re out of the dorm, aren’t we?”
“I thought we were going to get dinner.”
“We can get room service.” Hao said smugly. “I hear the food here is pretty good.”
Hanbin, in his good grace, stopped bickering once he got his mask on. Hao picked up the key from the front desk without Dispatch jumping out from behind the counter with a telephoto lens, and they made their way into the elevator.
They were silent when the doors closed. Hao leaned against the mirrored elevator wall, watching the numbers blink up. Hanbin softly breathed next to him.
“You planned this.”
“Yeah.” said Hao calmly. “Don’t worry. I’m smart.”
“I’m not worried.” Hao could see Hanbin watching him in the elevator’s mirrors, shifting his weight from foot to foot. “We don’t have any luggage.”
“Yeah.”
“They probably know why we’re here.”
“We’re here for the same reason as everyone else, babe,” Hao said, rolling his eyes. “We are paying to use their services.”
The elevator dinged, the doors sliding open smoothly. Hao sauntered through, the keycard grasped in his hand. Hanbin followed at his heels down the carpeted halls, obedient as ever.
Hao pushed open the door to the hotel room, threw his designer bag on the desk, and sat primly on the bed.
Hanbin stood over him, sneakers and sweatpants, and pulled his mask off.
“Nice place.” he said.
“Yeah,” Hao smiled, leaning over to grab the concierge phone. “Order us something to eat.”
Hanbin once again, did as he was told without questioning. Hao listened as he ordered two entrees to their room in perfect, generic, unaccented Korean. Hao leaned forward while he spoke, fingers toying with the drawstring on Hanbin’s sweatpants.
Hanbin looked down at him while he did it, his eyes dark, watching Hao look up while he teased the string between his fingers.
When Hanbin was done with the order, he tossed the phone on the couch.
“So,” Hanbin said. “The services you were mentioning?”
Hao rolled his eyes, and yanked the drawstring of Hanbin’s sweats. To Hao’s utter delight, Hanbin let out a little yelp. A bark.
“You’re here to fuck me, baby,” Hao said sweetly.
Hanbin closed his eyes for a second. He shook his head, opened his eyes, and smirked right back down at Hao, like his brain didn’t have to do a hard reset whenever Hao said some dirty words. “All right, sounds good to me.”
He leaned down to kiss Hao, dry lips and a wet tongue. Hao leaned into it happily, warm and at home in his boyfriend’s mouth. He exhaled into Hanbin as he breathed him in, their bodies relaxing into each other as they wrapped themselves together.
Before Hao could let himself get sucked in, he pulled back, and tapped Hanbin’s nose with a finger.
“Not now though. First, we should eat dinner.”
It wasn’t until they were midway through their steak and pasta meal that Hao introduced his plan.
“So,” he said, placing his utensils down on his plate with a clink. “Tonight, I’m going to have some rules for you.”
Hanbin finished drinking his water before putting the glass down. He leaned back on the hotel chair, and gave Hao a steady look.
“I didn’t know we had rules.” he said with a smile.
“We have rules when I’m paying for the hotel room, sweetie.”
Hanbin’s mouth twitched. “Okay, what are the rules?”
“One.” Hao lifted a finger. “You can't use your hands. “
Hanbin’s happy expression dropped like a stone. “I can’t touch you?” he whined.
“No. No using your hands,” Hao said sternly. “Only I touch you. Okay?”
Hanbin looked a bit put-off by this development, but he nodded. “Okay.”
“Two.” Hao threw up a second finger. “No talking. You talk and we finish. I won't be upset if we do, you can do it at any time.”
Hanbin looked a bit confused, but he nodded. “Okay, so no touching and no talking?” He frowned, this clearly wasn’t how he envisioned his evening going. “Can I ask why?”
Hao fought to keep his mouth from splitting into a grin. “You're going to be my dog. Dog’s don’t talk.”
Hanbin didn’t say anything, but his dark eyebrows shot towards his hairline. He watched, silent, as Hao gently placed the room service tray on the desk. Hanbin’s pupils were already black, his eyes half-lidded as he rolled his lip under his teeth, his gaze flickering as Hao’s eyes travelled down his face.
“Any questions?” Hao murmured.
Hanbin’s eyes were locked on his lips. “No.”
Hao smiled, and reached out to pet Hanbin’s soft hair. Hanbin closed his eyes against the touch, his eyelashes dark against his pink cheeks.
“You’re so good ,” Hao whispered.
He swooped in to peck him on the lips, pulling back before Hanbin devoured him with the remains of his meal.
“I'm going to go shower now, puppy,” Hao said, sliding out of his boyfriend’s grasp. “You wait until I'm done, okay?”
Hanbin nodded.
Hao showered faster than he ever had in his life, scrubbing himself with his body wash like he was going to be late for a flight. He wasn’t gentle with himself, using clean fingers to open himself up in a way that could best be described as clinical. He brushed the remains of dinner out of his mouth, attacked his hair with the blow dryer until it was no longer dripping. When he was finally clean all over and mostly dry, he yanked tied a hotel robe tie around his waist, and slid back into the hotel room.
Hanbin was still sitting exactly where Hao had left him. He wasn’t flicking through his phone, or watching TV. Just sitting there patiently at the end of the bed, his hands curled in his lap.
His head whipped up as soon as Hao exited the bathroom, watching as Hao crossed the space between them. He stopped in front of the bed, standing over Hanbin in his robe.
Hanbin raised his hands, an automatic reaction to place them on Hao's hips, before he caught himself. His eyes guiltily darted to Hao’s, as if he knew he was doing something wrong.
Hao smiled and cupped Hanbin's face in his palms.
“You waited so well puppy,” Hao said sweetly, squishing his flushed cheeks. “It's your turn for a bath now, okay?”
Hanbin let out a little whine, and Hao grinned.
He took Hanbin by the hand and led him to the bathroom, opening the door and guiding him inside. Hanbin stood amidst the steam, looking fidgety as his clothes collected moisture. Waiting, Hao knew, for him to do something.
“I'm going to get you undressed first, puppy.” Hao said, snapping the door shut. “Then we're going to get you all clean.”
Hao started with Hanbin's button-up, gently undoing each button until Hanbin's chest was open and bare. He pulled the sleeves off each arm, and hung it up on a hanger on the door.
When he turned back, Hanbin was staring so intently that Hao felt like he was being followed by a laser beam.
“Can you sit for me, puppy?” Hao said soothingly. “I need to get you out of these pants.”
Hanbin sat. He looked like he was fighting some internal battle, like he wanted to fight the command and give into a more base instinct. Hao knew better than to give him any attention, and focused on the task at hand. His touches were professional and light as he slid Hanbin's sweatpants down, folding them in a neat pile before pulling off his socks and underwear.
Hanbin was hard. Of course he was hard, Hao expected him to be hard. But the sight of it, thick and heavy between his legs, almost made Hao falter. He let his mind wander for a second, thinking about how Hanbin could ignore this silly game right now. He could just forget the dog thing, yank open Hao’s bathrobe, and fuck him right there on the hotel bathroom floor.
Hao physically shook his head to knock the thought away. No, no . This was about Hanbin. This was about the tension in Hanbins’s shoulders, the way that he picked at his knuckles in the elevator. The way that he was always on his phone, typing in their management group chat when he should be sleeping.
Hao tapped Hanbin’s shoulder. “Puppy up.”
Hanbin stood up. Hao ignored his erection. “Get in the tub, okay?”
Hanbin got into the tub without using his hands, standing there awkwardly while Hao busied himself with his toiletry bag. He had brought all their shampoos and soaps from home, not wanting to subject Hanbin to the harsh stuff supplied by the hotel. While he placed the bottles next to the tub, Hanbin stood naked, silent and flushed and waiting.
Hao rolled up his sleeve and grabbed the shower extension, pulling it down so he could wash Hanbin properly.
“Okay puppy, sit.”
Hanbin sat dutifully in the tub, eyes wide as he watched Hao carefully test the water temperature on his wrist before raising the spray over Hanbin's head.
In a minute, the water had saturated Hanbin completely. His hair flattened, body becoming sleek and shiny and wet as rivulets of water slid down the swells and valleys of his muscle, over his chest and collarbone and the curve of his thighs.Water pooled between his legs, the patches of his body hair getting flat and wet.
Hanbin looked good. Hao rolled his lips together. “Is the temperature good, puppy?” he asked.
Hanbin seemed unsure of what to do. Hao half expected him to nod, and was surprised when he opened his mouth.
“Arf,” Hanbin said quietly.
Adoration bloomed in Hao's chest. He didn't know if it was possible to love Hanbin any more than he already did.
“Puppy that was so good,” he gushed, pushing wet hair out of Hanbin's eyes. “So so good. You're so smart!”
Hanbin looked satisfied. He closed his eyes as Hao sprayed him down, letting him manoeuvre his body into better positions to get wet until he was completely soaked.
Hao pulled out his shampoo, pouring a generous helping onto his hands.
“I'm going to wash your hair now, puppy. Close your eyes so it doesn't sting, ok?”
Hanbin closed his eyes as Hao lathered his hair, rubbing the pads of his fingers against his scalp. He ran down the tense muscles in his neck, foamy soap sliding through every strand of hair along the way. He worked his fingers against Hanbin's skull, as if he could massage away his stress, the pressure of his responsibilities, his anxiety.
“Mmm,” Hanbin groaned.
Hao smiled. “You like that, puppy?”
Hanbin looked like he was going to fall asleep. “ Arf,” he said, low pitched and very human-like.
Hao smiled. “Good, good.”
When he was lathered up, Hao brought the shower head back and gently rinsed the suds out of his hair, directing the wash so it ran away from Hanbin's face. Hanbin, drowsy and soft, let Hao tip his head back with his fingers tilting back his chin, wiping his hair away from his eyes, letting the warm water slosh down his back.
The bathroom was very warm now, steam fogging the mirror, the heated floor tiles on. Hao poured body wash into his palms, rubbing them together as he stared at the expanse of Hanbin’s warm, wet skin in front of him.
Hanbin blinked at him, slow and bleary. Hao swallowed.
“Arms up, baby,” he said hoarsely. “Gotta wash you now.”
Hao started with the armpits first, scrubbing at the stubble until it foamed. Then he went to Hanbin's arms and back, rubbing deep into the tense muscles in his shoulder blades. He washed Hanbin's hands, pressing deep between his thumb and forefinger, scrubbing at the invisible dirt under his nails. Scrubbed to his stomach, feeling the tension in his body as he went down, closer, closer-
Hanbin whined as Hao brushed his fingers against his lower stomach, teasingly close to his cock. Hao looked up at his face, twisted slightly, lip bitten under his teeth.
Hao sighed. “Puppy's excited huh?”
Hanbin was staring at him, glassy eyes watching Hao’s every move as he leaned in. Hao didn’t indulge him, just spread soap foam around his dick, down between his legs, cleaning him thoroughly.
When he was done soaping up every inch of Hanbin, Hao reached for the shower head again. He ignored the heat pulsing through his legs as he rinsed Hanbin down, throughly sluicing suds and water down his shoulders, squeezing his hair out.
“All right puppy,” Hao said softly, turning off the tap, the metal on the faucet foggy. “All done.”
Hanbin looked up at him, wet and clean, blinking his enormous brown eyes sweetly and obediently. Hao sait there for a bit, taking in the sight of his boyfriend sitting silently in the tub, still slightly hard, and leaned forward. When he touched his finger to the side of Hanbin’s face, Hanbin gasped, and Hao smiled.
“Stand up puppy, let’s get you dried, okay?”
Drying Hanbin off was a less complicated operation. Hao went in with all the clean fluffy bath towels they had available, gently rubbing down Hanbin's body as he stood there quietly.
“I’m going to plug the dryer in now, it’s going to be loud but we need your hair dried, okay? I don’t want you to get cold.”
The corner of Hanbin’s mouth twitched.
Hao got the dryer out, blow drying Hanbin’s soft hair to its fullest volume. He was careful to not use the hottest setting, dabbing at the water with a towel as he ran over the dryer from a good distance. Normally Hanbin was the one doing this for him, drying his hair while they spent time together in the evening after a long day of work, but today was about Hanbin. Hao was happy to do this for once, running his fingers through the roots, drying his scalp evenly.
Hanbin closed his eyes, but when Hao got close to his face he cracked them open, looking gently down on Hao with an expression that made tension bloom in his stomach. Hao breathed deep, refocusing on drying Hanbin off, not making eye contact until he could finally step back and consider his job done.
“All right,” Hao said. “All dried.”
Hanbin stood in the middle of the bathroom, completely stark naked as Hao stood in front of him, comfy in his plush robe, as he was examined from head to toe. Hao moved around him, rubbing the towel in damp spots he missed, ruffling his hair with his fingers.
“Puppy sit.”
Hanbin slid down to his knees, looking up at Hao. If he had a tail, Hao figured it would be wagging.
“Open your mouth.”
Hanbin’s eyes sparkled, a big lazy grin on his face. Then he opened his mouth wide, tongue hanging over his lower lip like he was panting.
Hao let out a low exhale. He looked so good.
“All right, stay there.”
When he pressed the toothbrush against Hanbin’s teeth he could almost feel him deflate in disappointment.
“Did puppy get greedy?” Hao said gleefully, rolling the corner of Hanbin’s lip up so he could brush his canines. “We’re cleaning you, remember?”
Hanbin gave out a gargled moan as Hao scrubbed his teeth. How could I forget , he would say, if Hao had given him words to use. Playful and pained, in that delightful way that made Hao want to bite down.
When he determined that Hanbin’s teeth were sufficiently clean, Hao held out a cup for Hanbin to spit into. He rinsed his mouth again, wiping foam from the corner of his lips.
“You’re all done,” Hao murmured.
He moved to stand in front of Hanbin again, and put his palms against his face, so Hanbin could only look at him. “Can you wait for me next to the bed?”
Hanbin nodded, his eyes half open and a slow smile on his face. He stood up, easy and relaxed, and headed out of the bathroom.
Hao didn’t join him. He went back to his toiletry bag and pulled out a pair of pajamas that he had wedged into one of the pockets. With the bathroom door wide open, he untied his robe and let it fall to his feet. He turned away from Hanbin as he did this, pretending like he wasn’t putting on a show as he slid on a pair of clean pajamas up his thighs and across the long line of his back.
When Hao turned back, Hanbin was openly pouting from where he sat on the floor. Lip sticking out and everything. Hao pretended to not notice.
Hao slipped under the covers, threw the comforter back, and patted the bed next to him. “Puppy up.”
Hanbin clambered up to the headboard on his hands and knees. He flopped down next to Hao, eyes big and expectant, tongue lolling slightly out of his mouth.
Hao pulled the comforter covers up to his chest, and snuggled in closer to Hanbin. He leaned in to lick Hao on the cheek which made a giggle burst out of Hao’s mouth.
“Oh puppy, are you giving me kisses?”
Hanbin growled a bit, licking Hao across the lips in a stripe. Hao laughed through it, petting his hair. Hanbin was so cute. This was so fun, that he was playing along so well. Hao thought Hanbin might have to warm up to something kinky like this, but Hanbin seemed to let go so easily once Hao dangled himself out as a treat.
“You’re so cute,” Hao murmured between their wet kisses, stroking hair behind Hanbin’s soft ears. “You would do anything for me, wouldn’t you?”
Hanbin was the one to smile at that. A sweet, wide smile full of teeth. “Arf.”
Then, his phone rang.
It was Hanbin’s phone. Hao’s phone was always set to vibrate, but Hanbin kept his ringer on. Hao had heard it so many times since they debuted, at all hours. Shocking him out of sleep, out of eating, out of kissing-
Hanbin sat up suddenly, eyes suddenly clear like a spell had been lifted. He craned his neck around, looking in the direction of his discarded clothes that Hao had folded next to the bed.
No, no no.
Hao lunged across the bed, falling to the floor as he grabbed the phone.
The screen was bright, beaming LED light into his eyes. It was the company. Their manager.
Hao unlocked it with his birthday and answered.
“Hello?”
“I didn't see you at the dorm, will you be home soon?” their manager asked, his tone bored and insistent. “We're trying to schedule fittings for MCountdown.”
Hao breathed. “Sorry, Hanbin’s is busy at the moment.”
“Oh, Zhang Hao,” The manager’s tone suddenly went sour. “Did you two get permission to leave the dorm?”
Hao rolled his eyes. It was their day off. There was no need for any of this.
“Just send him a calendar request, he’ll let you know if it doesn’t work out.”
“Hao-sii–”
Hao hung up before their manager could ruin the atmosphere any further. He turned off the phone, and stuffed it back under Hanbin’s sweats.
When Hao finally resurfaced to the bed, he could see that Hanbin looked visibly concerned.
“It's just fittings,” Hao sighed. “They know all your measurements already anyways. It’s not worth interrupting your spare time.”
Hanbin didn't look convinced, his gaze far off, brows tight in a frown. That damn frown. Hao hated seeing it now, when they were having such a good time. The real world had so rudely interrupted Hao’s flawless work at emptying Hanbin’s brain.
He needed to do something about it.
Hao leaned up and pulled Hanbin down into his arms. He let his body fall back down on the pillows, pulling Hanbin with him until his head rested against Hao’s sternum. Hanbin was stiff above him, his back muscles taught as Hao worked his fingers into them.
“Let's just breathe together baby, okay?” Hao murmured softly into Hanbin’s bare skin. “You can't answer the phone. You can't do work. You're a dog, remember?”
Hanbin seemed to relax slightly at that, either the tempo of Hao’s fingers petting his hair, or the soft, lulling words in his ear. Something was working as his breathing began to even out.
Hao soothed him softly before reaching over to the bedside table, and grabbing his phone.
“Let’s watch a movie, okay?”
Hao dimmed the lights, and Hanbin curled up into his side.
They ended up watching a drama together, Hao’s phone propped up against his legs, Hanbin’s head resting on his chest. Hao pet Hanbin’s hair through the episode, running his fingers against his scalp softly as Hanbin’s breath slowed. He felt so warm, cuddled up in the soft downy sheets, his boyfriend’s clean hair between his fingertips.
Maybe this was something he needed, too. He could feel tension unspooling slowly in his chest as the silly drama played, as he and Hanbin breathed in the same rhythm. He didn’t have to answer to the whims of managers now, either. This was his break time, too.
The drama episode finished, and the credits rolled down the screen. From somewhere around Hao’s stomach, Hanbin whined.
“Yeah baby?” Hao leaned up to see Hanbin looking at him with big, woeful eyes.
Hao felt his mouth quirk. “What’s wrong?” He asked, smushing his palm against Hanbin’s soft cheeks. “Does puppy want to stop watching tv?”
Hanbin opened his mouth, and then closed it. Then, he leaned in close.
Hao’s eyes fluttered shut as Hanbin kissed him. It was gentle and firm, his wet tongue lapping at the seam of Hao’s lips. Hao closed his eyes, let his breath out of his nose like a sigh. Hanbin let out a long moan against the seal of Hao’s mouth, and Hao found himself smiling into it.
“Ah,” he said coyly, breaking away to whisper against Hanbin’s jaw. “Puppy wants kisses?”
Hanbin nodded, pained and desperate. “Mmm,” he whined.
Hao let himself fall back against the pillows as Hanbin clambered all over him on all fours, sucking and licking and drooling over his lips. Hao laughed, tearing away from Hanbin’s mouth for a breath. “Slow down, puppy,” he gasped.
Hanbin responded by growling into Hao’s mouth.
Hao couldn’t help but smile. He could feel Hanbin’s fingers tightening into the sheets around Hao’s body, like he was barely keeping it together to keep from pouncing on Hao with his hands.
Hao sat up against the hotel pillows, fumbling for the light. When he switched it on, Hanbin squinted into the brightness.
“What’s gotten you so worked up?” Hao scoffed.
He knew why, of course. Hao had been carefully teasing Hanbin for this whole time. Of course Hanbin wanted more when he was naked in bed with Hao, alone in a hotel room.
But now, Hanbin had no words to vocalize what he wanted.
“Mmmm,” Hanbin whined, his thighs pressed together pitifully, his gaze glittery and pleading.
Hao raised his eyebrows, and pretended to not notice. Instead, he reached forward and let his fingers trace down Hanbin’s body. His touch lingered over the swell of Hanbin’s pecs, his thumbs pressed into the divots, the valleys of muscle and skin.
It felt odd for Hao to have so much control over Hanbin, when Hanbin was usually the one who overwhelmed him in the most wonderful, all encompassing way. When Hanbin filled his body and fitted his hands over every ridge, when he held Hao down in place so there was nothing he could feel but Hanbin’s heartbeat.
He could see Hanbin’s heartbeat now. Through his erection, proudly on display.
Hao reached out to touch it, fingers reaching down to curl around the length. Hanbin’s eyes fluttered shut, a weepy moan coming from between his teeth as Hao slowly pumped his fingers down the shaft. Taking his time, watching as clear fluid swelled out of the tip, coating his fingers.
Hao felt his mouth fill with saliva, his body responding to the visual with pavlovian instinct. He could practically feel the weight of Hanbin's cock in his throat, felt his tongue twitch with the muscle memory.
Hanbin was big. When he had first seen Hanbin’s dick, Hao thought he was hallucinating. But it was big, bigger than proportionally expected, bigger than it had any right to be.
He loved it.
Hao looked up at Hanbin with a smirk, and lifted his hand to his lips to make a show of licking Hanbin’s precome from his fingers. Hanbin watched, his eyes half lidded, as drool slipped from his open mouth.
Then, Hao scooted back against the headboard.
“Stay, puppy. No moving.”
Hanbin obliged, frozen in place as Hao slid his hands down his pyjama pants.
He knew he would have to take these things off before he put them on, but it was part of the appeal. Hao hooked his thumb on the elastic waistband, dragging the hem down. He lifted his thighs up, his ass on display as he worked the pyjamas down to his ankles. Hanbin’s mouth was open and drooling as Hao slid his fingers between his legs. Hanbin’s eyes followed his hands, pupils dilating as they landed on the glass butt plug wedged up Hao’s ass.
This was a special occasion, of course. Hao had worn this thing about three times since he had bought it. He had thought it would spice up their sex life by cutting down on prep time, but Hanbin had admitted after Hao had surprised him with it for the first time, that he really enjoyed prepping Hao himself.
Hao remembered being shocked when Hanbin admitted this. Not because Hanbin had ever seemed bored while he prepped Hao, it was mostly because Hao assumed that he didn’t enjoy it. No other guy he dated had ever enjoyed stretching his ass. Not the wedding finance man, or the saxophonist, or that guy he had literature class with. It was always a race to the end, a breathless chase that would sometimes leave Hao wincing and raw.
But Hanbin took his time. Hanbin was sweet with him. Hanbin enjoyed it.
So the butt plug was shelved, only to be used for special occasions. Like this one, where Hanbin was a dog without use of human appendages.
If Hanbin had dog appendages, Hao imagined he would be wagging his tail right now.
Hao winked and slipped his hand under the back of his knee, pulling his thigh up to his chest so Hanbin could get a real good look as he slid the plug out.
“Ah,” Hao sighed out, tossing it aside. “There we go-”
Hao slipped his fingers inside, scissoring them and widening the hole. He watched Hanbin's eyes on him, dark and desperate. Hanbin was on his knees already, leaning forward, cock hard and positioned it in front of Hao’s hole. Wet, open, ready-
“Well, I think it’s time to sleep now, right puppy?”
Hao reached up to press a single chaste kiss against Hanbin’s lips, and then flopped down against the pillows.
“Good night, don't be naughty!”
Hao switched off the bedside lamp, and the hotel room plunged into darkness.
He rolled into the thick duvet away from Hanbin, his face pressed into the pillow. Hao could practically hear the confusion buzzing around in Hanbin’s brain.
There was silence, and then a whine. A single, pathetic whine.
Hao felt his mouth twitch against the pillow.
Truth to be told, they hadn't talked about this kind of thing before, but Hao was eager to see what would happen. He had thought about what Hanbin would do if Hao had left him like this, high and dry with no relief.
Hao wondered if Hanbin would stop being obedient, and give in.
Hao had imagined how it would happen. The sound of the sheets shuffling under his body, the press of his nose against the back of Hao’s neck, nipping at the skin. The heat of his back against Hao, naked and warm. The press of his slick cock against the back of Hao’s thigh, the slide of it as it entered Hao’s waiting, warm, open body-
Hao waited. He waited. He waited some more.
Twenty minutes passed on the bedside clock. Hanbin did not move.
Hao thought Hanbin would do it, at first. He could hear Hanbin fidget behind him, his knees rustling against the bed. Then, as the time ticked by, Hao began to realize that was probably not going to happen.
No. Hanbin was being a good boy, despite the fact that being a good boy was obviously torture.
Hao had told Hanbin to be good.
The feeling that swelled in Hao’s stomach was an odd one, something that felt soft and sweet and intoxicating. The sense that his handsome, beautiful Hanbin was trying to be good, even when Hao was relentlessly teasing him. Hanbin was just his sweet, obedient, puppy.
Hao switched the lamp back on and finally rolled over.
When he made eye contact with Hanbin, it reminded him of coming home to the dorm after a short trip to Fujian, right after debut. Hanbin was waiting for him by the door with a wide smile, happy to have not been left and forgotten, happy Hao came back for him.
“You’re a good boy, aren’t you, puppy?” Hao whispered.
Hanbin nodded vigorously.
“You’re so good, so well trained.” Hao took Hanbin’s face in his hands, squishing his cheeks. Hanbin’s eyes, dark and intense, sparkled in the low lamp light.
“Can you do a trick for me?”
Hanbin nodded.
Hao moved. He placed his hands on Hanbin’s shoulders, guiding himself into place. Hanbin let out a helpless, pinched moan as Hao lifted his thighs up over Hanbin’s lap, hovering just over Hanbin’s cock.
Hao reached down, his fingers drifting up the length of Hanbin’s wet erection, and grinned.
“Bark.”
The whine that vibrated in Hanbin’s throat burst out into something sharp, deep and desperate. It sounded human and animalistic all at once, Hanbin’s beautiful voice twisting into a wretched, pathetic yelp.
It was exactly what Hao wanted to hear. Pretty noises, falling out of Hanbin’s pretty mouth as glassy tears beaded on the edge of Hanbin’s dark eyes.
Hao rewarded him for his obedience, and pressed his mouth against Hanbin's before sliding down on his dick.
Hanbin let out a cry deep into Hao’s mouth that seemed to echo the one that left Hao’s lungs. Hao was filled to the brim, thighs shaking as his body adjusted to the cock that he had just thrust into his guts. Hanbin spasmed underneath him, his hips bucking.
Hao kissed Hanbin’s open mouth, licking his tongue, before snatching Hanbin’s chin in his fingers.
“Puppy’s got a big cock, doesn’t he?” Hao gasped out.
Hanbin blinked tears out of his long eyelashes, and nodded.
“So big,” Hao breathed. He carded his fingers through Hanbin’s sweat-damp hair, securing Hanbin’s gaze on him. “You must be the stud of the pack.”
Hanbin closed his eyes and whined.
Hao grinned. He lifted himself up on his knees, Hanbin’s dick dragging against his insides until only the tip remained. Hao held his breath for a second, watching as Hanbin’s fingers twisted tightly in the blankets, the skin of his knuckles white and taught.
Then, with an exhale, Hao sat down.
It felt so good. Hanbin’s cock was long and thick enough to push every thought from his brain and ring every nerve in his body with heat and pleasure. He could feel parts of himself he never knew existed before he met Hanbin, sensations he didn’t know his body was capable of until he had Hanbin’s dick for the first time.
He slid up and down slowly, his thighs burning and belly spasming with every intrusion. Hanbin, trembling under his thighs, looked like he was experiencing a similar sensation. His thick eyebrows were knitted together like he was in pain, hips kicking up in stutters, slapping their thighs together as Hao slid down his cock.
“Patience puppy.” Hao said sweetly, giving him a kiss on Hanbin’s open mouth. “Be good.”
Hao began to increase the pace, rolling his hips in a smooth motion, his swollen cock bouncing against his stomach. Hanbin trembled underneath him, muscled thighs barely holding back. Hanbin’s lips were bitten under his teeth, eyebrows tense and eyelashes wet. Hao took it all in, dragging his fingertips lighty up Hanbin’s trembling torso, fingers pinching at his skin, his muscles, his nipples.
“Ah, Hanbin,” Hao sighed, head thrown back as he fucked himself deep. “Hanbinnie, you feel so good.”
“Mm…” Hanbin whined, the sound cutting out between his teeth. “Mmmmm.”
“That’s good,” Hao said between gasps for air. His thighs were burning now, muscles wound up and damp with sweat. “You’re-you’re such a good boy. A good, dumb puppy, with the perfect fat cock.”
He sat down properly with that, pressing their thighs together, grinding down on Hanbin’s lap as far as he could go. Hanbin’s teeth knashed together, his hands shuddering as they twisted the sheets. Hao could imagine Hanbin seizing his waist with those hands, printing red marks along the meat of his thighs like a brand.
“Is hyung making you feel good, puppy?” Hao breathed.
Hanbin just looked up at him, helpless as Hao picked up the pace.
For a while, the only sounds between them were the slap of their skin, Hanbin’s moans, and Hao’s gasping breath. Then finally, thighs burning and exhausted, Hao gave in. Cock still hard, release still far off, he collapsed against Hanbin’s sweaty chest.
“Sorry, puppy,” Hao breathed, his pulse beating hard in his neck. He could feel Hanbin’s cock throb inside of him. “I gotta catch my breath.”
He only got a few gasps in, before Hao felt the world spin.
He landed on the duvet, stunned, staring up at the hotel room ceiling before Hanbin was on him. Hao felt the pressure of Hanbin’s hands holding him down by his arms, as he pulled his cock out of Hao’s body before slamming back inside.
“Hey!” Hao moaned, around the wet tongue in his mouth. “You’re breaking the rules-”
His protests fell on deaf ears. Hanbin was too far gone, animalistic and frenetic as he fucked Hao’s body. Hao couldn’t wrap his air around his words, barely choking out noise as Hanbin’s thrusts pushed the breath from his lungs.
“Ah-ah-ah-”
Hanbin flung his body on top of Hao, full weight of his torso pressing Hao flat into the hotel mattress. Hao felt his fingers scrabble against his back, thighs helplessly splayed as Hanbin fucked him hard.
“Is puppy trying to breed me?” Hao finally gasped out.
Hanbin pulled back.
There was a solid moment of silence between the two of them as they stared at each other. Hanbin, his chest heaving and he looked down at Hao’s naked body between his legs. Hao reaching out, looking up through his lashes as he fumbled for Hanbin’s cock, trying to pull it back inside him-
Hanbin shoved Hao over onto his front, pulled his ass up to Hanbin's waist, and mounted him from behind.
Hao moaned as he realized the position he was in, a molten mix of humiliation and arousal shooting through every nerve in his body. Hanbin was fucking him him on his hands and knees, ass open and exposed as he got bred like a dog.
“Hanbinnie-” Hao gasped. “Hanbinnie-”
Hanbin didn’t respond. He was letting out a mix of grunts and whines, fucking Hao relentlessly. Like what Hao said had flipped a switch inside of him.
Hao wondered if it had flipped a switch inside him, as well. He wondered if Hanbin knocking him up would feel like this. If it would be this feral, this intense, this embarrassing.
Hao could barely process his own climax when it happened. It hit him out of nowhere, seizing his body with pleasure, sending him twisting his fingers into the duvet and moaning wetly into the mattress.
He lay there, collapsed on himself, as Hanbin continued to fuck his limp body. Pushing inside him frantically, moans loud and movements sloppy.
Hao fumbled behind him, trying to reach Hanbin’s face.
“You can cum now, puppy,” Hao said, as if Hanbin needed permission. As if Hanbin wasn’t fully rogue at this point with no regard for his master’s will. “You’ve been good.”
Hanbin seemed to like it, anyway. He buried his face into Hao’s shoulder, kissing his ear, nipping his neck. Then, Hao felt the warmth fill him as Hanbin finally reached what he had been chasing, and came inside Hao’s body.
✦
They ended up in the bathtub.
Really, it was Hanbin who got him in the bathtub. Hao, who had the tendency to turn into a corpse after a rough round of sex, was gently lifted up and hauled into the waiting water.
Hanbin let him sink down, before getting in after. Hao leaned against his chest, letting the hot water warm up every extremity, his heart beating steady and slow.
“You're all elbows,” Hanbin said quietly, as they settled back into each other.
“Shut up,” Hao murmured.
Hanbin pressed his mouth against Hao’s hair, wrapped his arms around his stomach. Hao leaned back into him, and felt his muscles loosen.
“You’re tense,” Hanbin finally said.
Hao felt his mouth twitch. “Says you.”
“I know it’s been a lot lately.”
“I know you know,” Hao sighed. “You’ve been running yourself ragged.” Hao paused on the thought, suddenly feeling self conscious of what had just transpired.
“...Did you like it?” he asked.
To his relief, Hao didn’t need to turn around to see Hanbin’s smile. He could hear it in his voice. “I like everything you do to me,” Hanbin said simply.
Hao smirked. “Good.”
Hao felt the moment was something he would forget in a minute and remember for a lifetime. Everything felt hazy and slow, and surreal, the mental state of a dream before you wake up. Hanbin’s dry kisses against his scalp. The coldness of his kneecaps above the water’s surface. The soft echo of the tap, dripping into the bathwater.
Hao weaved their fingers together, wet and soft, and placed them on his stomach.
“All your cum’s still in me.” Hao murmured.
Hanbin let out a sound between a choke and a laugh. He could feel his fingers tremble as he laced them together.
“Good,” Hanbin murmured. “That’s where it belongs.”
Hao’s mouth twitched.
“Think we’re gonna have a baby?”
When Hanbin spoke, Hao could feel the words rumble through him, like they were being transferred through the points where their skin connected.
“Maybe if we’re lucky.”
Hao grinned. He thought about it as he let himself be enveloped by the warm water and Hanbin’s strong arms. Hao didn’t think too much about this kind of thing normally, but the runaway train of dirty talk got him dreaming about the impossible.
Bearing Hanbin’s children, their features a perfect combination of their own. Human manifestations of their love. A family tree branch that could never be undone, tying their love together for eternity.
It felt like too grand of an idea to convey. “Wish you could knock me up,” Hao grumbled instead. “It would be hot.”
“Maybe in our next life,” Hanbin said quietly.
When he was met with silence, Hao twisted around in the tub. Hanbin’s disco ball eyes were right there at the end of Hao’s nose, shiny and wide and full of stars.
“You promise?” Hao muttered, glancing between Hanbin’s eyes and his lips.
Hanbin nodded. “Yeah.”
“I’m going to hold you to it, you know. I’ll get mad if you don’t follow through.”
Hanbin smiled at Hao’s mouth. “I’ll do it.”
“You’re going to have to track me down again.” Hao said. “You’re going to have to find me if you want to put a baby in me.”
Hanbin leaned in, lips on Hao’s ear. His eyelashes brushed Hao’s cheek like a kiss.
“I’ll put a baby in you if that means I get to be your dog again.”
They breathed slowly together, sharing the same air, before Hao gathered Hanbin’s cheeks in his palms, and pressed their mouths together.
The hotel room was silent, no phones vibrating from the pockets of their jeans, no air conditioning hum. Just the gentle sound of water in the tub, sloshing around as they turned to face each other. They kissed as the water cooled around them, until the only source of warmth was the heat of their bodies against each other. Hao felt, in the sex-addled, sleep-deprived, exhausted corner of his brain, like the confines of time were no longer something that really applied to him and Hanbin. They had found something in this world that would escape death.
For now, this life was more than enough.
✦
Hanbin was very certain that he was on an arcade date with the cutest boy in the world.
Hao was standing next to a UFO catcher in the arcade near their dorms, his eyes bright, his palms pressed to the glass. He was excited in that way that showed in his voice, high and lilting and sweet.
“I want this one,” said Hao, tapping on the glass.
They had come here on a whim, their first dinner out after Hao had surprised him with the hotel a week ago.
It had become an incident that Hanbin couldn’t even think about without getting erect in the most inconvenient locations. Hao had explained himself in the aftermath, that the whole night was tailored to Hanbin so he would relax and, of course, it worked. Hanbin felt more relaxed now: his muscles were looser and he wasn’t losing his temper with the other members as much.
The only side effect was that a creature inside of him had emerged from its slumber. A feral beast that started to salivate whenever his boyfriend decided to pet him on the head.
Hanbin ignored it as best as he could, and focused on how relaxed his shoulders were, and how his frown lines had faded. Those were all positive physical manifestations. He just didn’t have to think about the rapidly developing dog kink.
“You have coins, right?” Hao asked, glancing over his shoulder. He was all dressed up for their date, wearing a cute cardigan, his lips stained and eyelids sparkly.
“Yep,” Hanbin leaned against the UFO catcher, not close enough that it looked intimate and just close enough that he could feel the warmth of Hao’s body heat through his back.
“What do you want, babe?” Hanbin said. “I’ll get it for you.”
Hao pointed again through the glass, and Hanbin followed it.
The UFO catcher was full of Shin-chan stuffies. Hao was specifically pointing at the white dog perched on top of a plush mountain.
“Shiro.” said Hao. “The puppy.”
Instantly, like a Pavlovian response activated, Hanbin felt his face flush. Saliva pooled involuntarily in his mouth, gushing around his teeth.
He swallowed it down loudly.
“Think you can get him for me?” Hao said sweetly.
“Sure thing,” Hanbin mumbled, his fingers shaking on the joystick.
Hao hooked his chin over Hanbin’s shoulder, and cupped his hand over his mouth to whisper into his ear.
“He can be our son.”
Twenty minutes later and eighteen thousand won down the maw of the UFO catcher’s coin slot, Hao managed to snag their firstborn on his own after a poor performance from Hanbin’s violently shaky hands. The first thing Hao did after pulling Shiro out through the prize door was to give him a kiss on his fluffy head.
“One’s for the new baby,” Hao said, pecking Shiro between the eyes. “One’s for papa.”
He made eye contact with Hanbin as he kissed the plushie, standing in the middle of an arcade. Pink and yellow under the neon lights, kpop music loud in their ears. Hanbin’s palms damp as he lost himself in Hao’s dark eyes.
“If you're good," Hao whispered. “I’ll give you yours when we get home.”
