“hyung,” hanbin tries again, taking a step forward. “i loved you, i know you felt the same way. just tell me what changed.”
zhang hao looks over, then turns away again quickly. he reaches a hand out and pushes it against hanbin’s chest until he takes a step back. “are you done?” he asks.
“for now,” hanbin says.
zhang hao crosses his arms, closes his eyes. “what if–” he stops, takes a shaky breath. “what if i didn’t love you?”
eight months later, hanbin and zhang hao find closure.

“So… you partnered up with the Hufflepuff captain who’s a flirt?”
“He’s not a flirt,” Hao said, the words falling out of his mouth a little too fast.
Everyone stared at him, various shades of amusement on their faces. “I mean,” he clarified, clearing his throat. “He’s just… friendly.”
“Friendly,” Jiwoong echoed, unconvinced. “And he just so happened to choose the seat next to you in class?”
“Let me guess, did he ask to call you hyung, too?” Taerae added, smirking.
“Careful, hyung. At this rate, it sounds like he’ll ask you to be his date to the Yule Ball,” Ricky teased.
Hao bit his lip, refusing to look at any of them.

In which Hanbin and Hao are partnered for a project, and between the chaos of magical duels, quidditch matches, and finding dates for the Yule Ball, they find comfort in each other.

Traditional belief dictated that there is a vein that runs directly from the fourth finger on the left hand up the elbow, into the shoulder, and down to the heart. A single, undisturbed connection. The vein was given the Latin name Vena amoris or, directly translated, the ‘vein of love’. The supposed existence of this vein is cited as the reason why many Western cultures wear their engagement and wedding rings on that fourth finger on the left hand—the ring finger.
or: Hanbin is the world’s most romantic wedding planner and he’s damn good at his job—because what better way to celebrate love than to throw a lavish party for it? Hao is the world’s most cynical best man and he’s only tagging along to Gyuvin and Ricky’s wedding planning for one reason: to ensure the wedding doesn’t happen at all.

one of the most beautiful stories ive read on here. genuinely moved me to tears
