Pain(t)

Summary:

One day, during Ted's week off work, Rebecca can't stand any more time apart from him. She decides to pay a visit under false pretenses. What she didn't expect was a half naked Ted. Accidental admissions and smut ensue.

Notes:

Hi! I hope you'll like that little story of mine. I've recently been doing some remodeling and the idea came to my head and I just had to write it down. Enjoy!

Work Text:

Rebecca drove slowly through the traffic of Richmond. She decided to drive by herself, letting her driver have the day off. It was, after all, just a mile away from her house to Ted’s. There was no need to bother anyone.

Come to think of it, she should have walked as she now was basically stopping every 2 seconds due to some accident ahead. The stroll would have been refreshing, and would gave her more time to reconsider bothering Ted on his week off. Yet here she was, almost at his doorstep already. She should have waited for him to come back to work in a few days. Thing is, she just needed to get one thing sorted and she wanted to have everything done as soon as possible. Since it was his visa it couldn’t wait now, could it ? She needed his signature to send the papers in due time, right?

It’s not like she missed his silly, dad jokes and jovial energy which he shared so gladly with her. It really was not. Or so she told herself. And it’s not that Higgins was always the one to take care of that kind of paperwork.

Shaking her head at her own antics, she stopped by the café to get his favourite coffee as to not come empty handed, well except for his visa documents, obviously.

Coffee in hand, she arrived at his doorstep, ringing the buzzer. She wasn’t even sure whether Ted was home or not, to be honest. She just got in her car and drove to see him on a whim, finding the perfect excuse to see him.

“Hello?” came a familiar voice from the phone “Uh, Hi Ted, it’s Rebecca” she said, her voice just a tad unsteady, “Mind if I come in?” she continued lightly, “Sure, Boss” she heard coming from the other end, and she heard the buzzer releasing the lock. She took a calming breath and entered the building. Walking up the stairs she noticed his door was cracked as an invitation. The radio was playing some rock music in the background. She gently pushed the door fully open to enter. “Ted?” she called for him unsure which direction to head in. “In here!” she heard him call.

Rebecca followed the sound of his voice into the living room where she saw Ted, wearing only shorts and nothing else, as he was scrambling to find a t-shirt beneath the foil covered furniture. She was struck by the muscles he hid so well beneath all the layers he usually wore to work. Her gaze following his every move. “Shoot, sorry Boss, my t-shirt is somewhere…give me a sec” he mumbled. “no, Ted. It’s fine. I just…came to ask you for a signature on your visa form. I shouldn’t have ambushed you at your flat. Clearly you’re busy” she stated waving her hands absentmindedly, pointing at the general area. “Yeah well, Beard and I were just doing some small renovations” he smiled, pointing to Beard who standing by the wall, a paint roller in his hands and an amused raise of his brows. Rebecca didn’t even notice him as she was mesmerized by a semi-naked, dishevelled Ted.

“Hi Boss” Beard nodded at her. “Morning, Beard” she glared at him, silently telling him not to think too much of anything. Beard only rolled his eyes as he returned to painting the wall, seemingly uninterested in what was happening right next to him.

Rebecca took a deep breath, trying to calm down her hormones at seeing Ted in the current state, who has eventually given up on the search for his t-shirt after she stated it was fine. She really shouldn’t have done that if she was honest with herself. The sight of Ted was doing things to her, things she tried to squash down.

“So you were sayin’ I need to sign somethin’, aye Boss?” Ted’s words brought her back from her daydreaming of his arms, his beautiful chest, graced by just the right amount of hair. Not too little and not too much. Oh, and his slightly visible abs. They were hidden beneath a small amount of fat, which was still impressive given he was pushing fifty. Ted really was in a great shape. The recent exercise of painting also did amazing things to his biceps. She just wanted to put her hands around them, and squeeze. Jesus Rebecca, get a grip!. She tried to concentrate on the task that that she’s given herself. “Here, the paperwork to extend you visa” she almost threw the documents at him, suddenly unsure where to look. Ted grabbed them and started reading carefully, caressing his growing ‘holidays’ beard in the process, deep in thought. A loose tendril of hair falling down to his forehead and she was barely able to stop herself from brushing it away.

“I take it you also have my documents on you, don’t you Boss? Save you the trip of coming to my place” she heard Beard calling from back of the room. Shit, she forgot about his presence again. “uh…no” She cut any other explanation seeing Beard’s shit-eating grin. “mhmm, guess I’ll expect Higgins next week” Beard just teased as he moved on with the painting. It’s not that she didn’t care for Beard, she just wanted to see Ted, more than anyone else. Four days without him already felt four too many. She was completely screwed.

“Oh sorry Boss, may I offer you something to drink? Water, Wine, Whisky?” he asked as he approached the kitchen area “Garbage Water?” he added playfully. “Thank you Ted, that won’t be necessary. I just wanted to drop the documents and I’ll be out of your hair”. Rebecca saw the disappointed look in his eyes and shook her head slightly, looking down at her feet , considering her options: water could be the quick gateaway, wine would help ease up her nerves and still she could down it fast if need be. Tea would take long time to cool down enough for her to drink and she didn’t want it to go to waste if she’d decided to abruptly leave. “Fine…wine, please, but I really don’t want to disturb you guys, you still have work to do” she fidgeted with her hands. “Nonsense Boss, you can always supervise! Be the boss of the house!” Ted said enthusiastically as he started opening the bottle of wine he kept on hand just for her. She’s only been to his house twice before, briefly, but he was always hoping for more and longer visits.

Rebecca heard the well known pop of the cork and she turned into the direction of Ted, eyeing him as he poured her a glass. She kept appreciating his back as she heard a grunt coming from the other side of the room, bringing her out of her dazed state. “Sorry Beard I…” she started...

“Forgot I was in the room again” Beard finished her sentence. “Ted, I’m moving the painting to the bathroom!” Beard yelled at Ted as he passed a stunned Rebecca. “You finish up in here!” he smirked. “Appreciate ya, Willis!” Ted shouted as he approached Rebecca with her glass.

“There you go Rebecca, enjoy” he smiled. Her hand gently grazed his as she took the wine glass from him, her breath hitching at the sudden proximity of him and the use of her first name. She could smell the faint scent of his showergel mixed with gentle smell of sweat, but boy did it not bother her. If anything it made her squeeze her thighs tight as she sat down on the chair he took the foil off of for her. “Thank you”, she smile appreciatively. The whole situation felt so domestic. The man of the house doing some very much needed work.

When she rented this apartment for him she didn’t even look at the state it was in. It clearly needed some light housework and she felt guilty about it now. For being so awful to him initially, not caring about his wellbeing after coming to a foreign country, leaving his family behind, for her. She knew Ted had to give Michelle some distance, but if it wasn’t for her it probably would’ve been another part of Kansas City, or a neighbouring town. She still felt guilty for keeping Ted away from his little boy.

She sipped on her wine watching as Ted wet the roller with paint to continue where Beard has finished. Rebecca admired him as he let out soft puffs of air as he worked the roller, his hips moving to the rhythm of the music. She smiled, amused at his easiness to make any activity fun. “So Boss, what have you been up to this week? Anything interesting?” he asked, looking at her with the corner of his eyes, quickly returning his focus back to the wall. “Well, Nelson Road was quite quiet this week, not many people around, so it was pretty much just paperwork. Had a dinner with Keeley the other day. Did you know that Jamie and Roy came to her the other night, asking who she wants to end up with? Those idiots” she huffed.

“Ah that explains the black eye Roy was sporting” He hummed. “Actually that was Jamie’s doing and not Keeley’s” Rebecca corrected him. “Though I’d expect both of them to be sporting pretty sore arses as she kicked them both out at the time” she giggled.

“Ouch, being kicked out by our little miss firecracker must’ve hurt their egos most of all, have some mercy Keels!” Ted smiled.

“Oh now don’t you worry about them. Keeley got into actual thinking about them... then couldn’t decide and the three crazies decided to be in a throuple now” she rolled her eyes.

“A what?” Ted asked curiously as he stopped painting, his face confused at the new term.

“A throuple. The three of them are now in a relationship” she stated, raising one finger up “One relationship, three people” she looked at him smiling. Ted huffed out a laugh. “Woah, good for them! Go Keeley” Ted said excitingly.  “Go Keeley!” Rebecca raised her glass “At least one of us has a life”. She looked down into her now almost empty glass, wanting to punch herself for mentioning the state of her love life. It’s not something they did. Talk about feelings.

”Ah come on now Boss, you will get there, and if not you can always have a threesome with Beard and I”, her eyes shot up “Throuple, I meant throuple!” he panicked “Though I guess that would also entail the previous at some point. Not that you’d need either of us, you’re gorgeous and will find someone in no time, and it’s not like Beard and I…we’re not…” Rebecca laughed loudly at his stuttering. “It’s okay Ted, thank you for creating that image in my head, but I’d rather keep Beard out” she slipped hoping he wouldn’t notice she did not exclude him from the equation. Judging by Ted’s creeping blush, he did the hidden message behind her words. Fuck!

Rebecca panicked and hastily put the empty glass on the table “I...I should go” she scattered towards the door. “Rebecca wait!” he yelled after her but she was already gone. He wished he actually put on a shirt once she arrived so he could follow her into the street. “Bollocks” he ran his hand through his hair as Beard exited the bathroom “What happened there coach? I heard the door slam. Where’s the Boss?”.

Ted just stood there, staring at the closed door “Ted? What is it?” Beard softened his tone, noticing how quiet his chatty friend actually was. “Rebecca..she uh..may have accidentally admitted she wouldn’t mind being in a relationship…with me. And then she ran!” He smiled at him. Beard relaxed slightly. This was a good thing. “Well, a blind man could see she would actually want that. Not just ‘wouldn’t mind’” he air quoted and then he patted Ted on his back. Ted looked up at him confused. “What?” Ted asked, surprised. “Coach, it’s obvious she has feelings for you, why else do you think she couldn’t last even a week without you, and all those longing glances the two of you always share.  Don’t even get me started on that. And today, she didn’t even see me when she arrived, and then she FORGOT I was there. She only had eyes for you Coach”.

Ted’s eyes sparked with a little hope for the future. Beard pulled him out of his thoughts “Bathroom is ready, you’re lucky it’s so small. Now go get a shower and run to her, ‘kay? I’ll finish up in here” Beard gently offered to his friend. Ted gulped but followed Beard’s advice and  headed towards the bathroom for a quick shower. He could feel his heart speed up and it wasn’t from the high temperature of the water. Ted focused on his breathing. In an out. Calming himself down. He knew what he was planning to do was not going to be easy, hell he was terrified of ruining his friendship with Rebecca, but he also knew that he had to do something about the whole situation. He bottled up his feelings for Rebecca for months now, fearing they’d not be reciprocated by this amazing, beautiful woman. After all, he was just a “dumb American”. His hope sometimes grew, when she rubbed his arms in a comforting manner, or when she agreed to go to Crown and Anchor with him for occasional dinner. But they were friends, that’s what friends do, right? He tried not to get his hopes up and just enjoy the easy companionship.

His quick shower was over before he knew it and he decided against shaving. Strike the iron while it’s still hot right ?Although Rebecca was always hot. That he couldn’t deny. Even after a long day at the office, her makeup flaky, her hair undone. She was just gorgeous.

He tied the towel around his hips and rushed to his bedroom to find a pair of jeans, and a button-up shirt. Not his usual style, but it’ll do. With the last thought, as to have an excuse if things go south, he grabbed and signed his visa papers. “You gonna be okay here Beard?” Ted asked as he put on the puff jacket over his shoulders. “Sure, I’ll lock up as I leave, now GO”.

“Ye, right, right, see ya!” and with that Ted rushed out of his flat. He decided to walk through the Green to Rebecca’s house, getting some of the nervous energy out of his system with the movement. Before he knew it he arrived at his destination. Noticing her car outside the house he sighed in relief. She got back home. He approached the door and gently tapped on it a few times before pushing his shaking hands into the pockets of his jeans.

“Ted? What’re you doing here?” she asked, surprised to see him so soon after her abrupt departure. She was still ashamed of the slip of her tongue and still had a tiny glimmer of hope he didn’t catch on, but looking at the determination in his eyes, she knew she was busted.

Ted took her casual clothes in. She must’ve changed after visiting him, not expecting anyone. She now sported a faded pink, oversized sweater paired with a pair of black leggings clutching to her excruciatingly long legs.

“I um..well..wanted to talk to you about what you’ve said back in my apart- flat” He said nervously. “oh God” Rebecca sighed and rubbed her face “Come in” she sighed, as opened the door wider to invite him inside. There was no going back now.

Ted’s never been inside her house before. That was a fact he realised as he slowly entered. He took a quick glance at the pristine area. Almost like it was not lived in. A single glass of wine sitting there on the counter. The quiet almost deafening. He heard Rebecca take a deep breath behind him as she followed him to the kitchen. “Wine?” she offered, opening the cabinet where she kept the glasses. “Sure, thanks, liquid courage is much ‘ppreciated” he tried to loosen up the tension in the room. Rebecca poured him a glass and put it in front of him. She took her own glass and crossed to the other side of the kitchen counter, across from Ted, avoiding his eyes. She needed some space, something to shield her from what was about to come. Ted must have come here to tell her that he doesn’t want a relationship with her, that he’s got someone else and he wanted to let her down gently, before she gets her hopes up too high. But she knew he’d want to get things straight and not have this stand between them, unresolved.

“I was thinking about something you said before and I..must say I was pretty surprised by your, albeit nicely camouflaged, admission and I just needed to-“

“Ted.., stop, it’s okay. I understand you do not want to get involved with someone like me and I’m sorry for the slip of the tongue back there” Rebecca stopped him from going forward. She couldn’t hear him say these words or she’d break.

“Someone like you? Rebecca, what do you mean?” Ted put down his glass and slowly approached her, as he would a wounded animal. Standing just in front of her, but not too close. He didn’t want to scare her away. Not now. Not ever.

Rebecca laughed somber “A cold bitch, who tried to ruin everything in her wake, and didn’t even care about whom she may hurt in the process. A bitch who hired the photographer to spy on you and Keeley. A person who still seeks revenge for her ex husband, even though it’s been three yea-“

“Rebecca, stop! Please” Ted pleaded, searching for her eyes which she stubbornly held down. He put his hands on her arms, trying to get her to look up at him. Ted couldn’t believe that she thought those thoughts of herself. No one who knew her did. Not anymore at least. Rebecca’s grown so much these past few years. Made friends, and cared deeply for them, for the whole team.

“R’becca, please, you are an amazing person, do not talk about yourself that way, please”, his thumbs caressed her collarbones gently, soothingly.” Please look at me” he heard his own voice crack at noticing the tears willing in her eyes as she finally looked up at him. “there you are” he almost whispered, his hands still on her arms. He fought the urge to wipe the tears that finally spilt on her cheekbones. “Rebecca, you have been hurt. You closed yourself off to the world for a time to protect yourself. And it’s fine, but that’s not who you really are. Please don’t say these awful, untrue, things about yourself” He allowed himself to finally caress her cheek now. Rebecca shut her eyes and leaned into his touch. Oh how starved she was for his warmth, his gentle touch. She opened her eyes to look at him, eyes full of hope now. Ted began to speak and her world started swirling.

“I’m not sure, however I’m guessing you may feel the same...I have been developing feelings for you for a long time now. And it would be an honor to be with you if you’ll have me, for as long as you’ll have me”, he brushed away the tears that followed a muffled sob as Rebecca put a shaky hand to her mouth. “I’m sorry Ted” she wiped her own tears now, trying to compose herself  “It’s okay Rebecca, let it all out” he opened his arms for her to fall into, which she did, full force, grabbing onto his shirt and sobbing into his chest. Ted pressed himself fully against her body, drawing her even closer. “I do hope those are happy tears tho” he tried to lighten up the mood. Rebecca laughed into his chest, her cries subsiding. “Yes, happy tears, and tears of relief”. Rebecca untangled herself from him. “God I must look like a panda now” she brushed some of her mascara from under her eyes. “Nah, you’re always a lion” Ted smiled grabbing her hand, entwining their fingers. “Why don’t you go and rest on the couch. I’ll bring the wine, okay?”. Rebecca nodded, deciding on visiting the bathroom first.

She stared at herself in the mirror, her whole makeup smudged around her face. She took some soap and washed it all off. Her eyes were still red and puffy and she decided against putting any makeup back on. She took a deep breath and left to join Ted on the couch. “There you are!” He took in her soft, natural look as he handed her the glass and watched her take a sip, staring at the floor.

“So I guess you dig a physical worker” Ted joked and she snorted on her wine “Just this one” She replied looking at him tenderly. She saw the gentleness and worry there. She put her glass of wine next to his on the table and shuffled closer to him. Her side now glued to his, she laid her hand on his chest as he put his arm around her. “But on a more serious note. Thank you, for being so understanding, for not running away from my ridiculous outburst”. He nodded “R’becca, we all deal with emotions in many different ways” She stated and she continued “Ted,  I want to say it out loud too. I do have feelings for you. Strong ones. Feelings that have been growing ever so quietly, without me even noticing, until the thought of being away from you became unbearable. Hence my visit today. I couldn’t bear not to see you every day” she smiled. Ted’s hand caressed the back of her head, soothingly. The just looked at each other, comfortably. “Yeah, that’s what Beard said” Ted smiled, “Anyway, thank you for saying that, Rebecca. I guess I needed to heard the words too. It all feels like a dream” He moved to kiss her forehead, but Rebecca had other idea. Her hand quickly moved from his chest to his cheek and she changed the trajectory, meeting his lips in a gentle kiss. Ted was taken aback for a second before moving his lips to meet her movements. The kiss was soft, sweet and comforting. Like they have been doing this for years, and not sharing their first one. His light scruff tickling her but she enjoyed the additional sensation. She moaned when he pulled away to catch his breath adding one additional peck to her nose as he did so. “I love you” he said honestly. Rebecca’s hear swelled as she pulled him in for another kiss. She licked his lip, asking for entrance which he gladly granted, pushing herself fully into him. Their tongues danced together perfectly and they both moaned at the sensation.

Rebecca’s hands found their way into his hair as she climbed onto his lap, deepening the kiss. Ted’s hands remained at the sides of her legs, gently caressing her thighs. “Don’t be a gentleman, Ted” she asked as she grabbed onto them and put them around her body, a permission to roam around. She earned an honest chuckle from him, as well as a tight squeeze on her ass. She smiled and moved to kiss his neck sucking on his pulse point. Ted sighed breathlessly, and she felt him stir beneath her. She rolled her hips, adding friction to elevate their pleasure. They were moving fast, but she didn’t mind. She knew Ted for years now and she wanted him fully. And she wanted him now. Rebecca’s hands started unbuttoning his shirt, pressing sloppy kisses to his chest as she did so.

Suddenly the doorbell rang and they both groaned at the interruption. “Fuuuck!” she muttered as she started moving off of him. “Pretend you’re not home” Ted asked with a wink. “Ted, my car’s in the driveway, that’s quite a giveaway” She sighed, knowing that while not many people visited her, most of them wouldn’t leave until they knew she was okay, one way or another. Just as if on cue, her phone started vibrating. “I’m coming!” she yelled at the door, swinging it open with a little too much force.

“Rebecca! What happened?” She heard a worried voice of Keeley, who took in her dishevelled look and puffy eyes. “Where’s he?! who is he? I’ll kill him!” she stormed inside the room “No! Keeley wait!” Rebecca followed inside, and was a moment too late to grab her friend before she entered the living room. She held onto her arm as her friend was fuming at Ted, who was sitting awkwardly on the couch, his shirt buttoned back up, a pillow covering his groin area. Rebecca hid a smile at the sight of his dishevelled state.

“Hi Keeley”, Ted awkwardly waved  a hand at her. Rebecca smiled at her fierce friend, glad she had someone like that in her corner.”Keeley, it’s fine, more than fine actually” She looked warmly at Ted. “Can you promise not to hurt Ted so that I can let go of your arm, please?” She loosened her grip as Keeley nodded, still eyeing Ted warily. Rebecca sighed then, feeling Keeley needed proof she was indeed fine. She shook her head and approached Ted who was still on the couch, sitting beside him, putting her hand on his chin, turning him to her and kissing him soundly on the lips. “see? More than fine, no killing anybody, okay?”

“Oh my God!” Keeley squealed.  “Now I don’t want to kill him, but squeeze him!” she started to move towards the couch.

“Keeley, I’d rather you didn’t, just yet” Ted shifted uncomfortably. The pillow still covering his predicament. “Oh MY GOD! I’m interrupting! Do go one, I’m leaving! You kids have fun!” she quickly turned on her feet and moved towards the door, shutting it loudly behind her.

“Oh God” Rebecca laughed into his chest. Ted put his arms around her  in a comforting gesture.

“Oh bollocks Ted, I’m sorry I did that to you, we haven’t even talked if you wanted to tell anyone about us yet” she was mortified. “Honey, I’d shout it from the rooftops if I could” he smiled. “I’m Ted Lasso and the most amazing woman on earth agreed to go out with me!” he faux-shouted and she giggled “You’re an amazing man too, you know that?” she looked into his eyes. “I’ve never met anyone so kind, so warm, so caring as you. You’re one of a kind Ted Lasso, and I thank the heaven’s that you decided to share my feelings”. She pressed a chaste kiss to his lips. “Now, where were we?”. She grinned as she put the pillow away from his lap and climbed back onto it, meeting his lips again.

Startling her a little, Ted  stood up, tightening his grip around her hips, taking her with him. Reading his intentions she laughed, “Ted, the bedroom’s upstairs, you can put me down”. He groaned, but he knew his knees would thank him later. Rebecca smiled at him and took his hand, leading him upstairs. She opened her door and immediately felt his hands on her hips, his lips on her neck. She quickly turned around pressing his back to the door with force, a surprised yelp escaping his lips. Her hands quickly found his belt buckle and the zipper of his pants. She was fighting hard to take his pants down when she felt his hand stopping her. “Rebecca, let’s take care of you first, please? It’s been a while and I’m fairly certain I won’t last too long” He pressed his lips to her knuckles. “I don’t want to disappoint you” he admitted “Ted, you could never disappoint me, I hope you know that” she kissed him again, reassuringly. He nodded and tugged gently at her sweater “Mind if we take this off?”.

Rebecca shyly nodded an lifted her arms up, helping him to get rid of the piece of clothing, throwing it to the floor. His focus now on her perfect breasts “How did I not notice you had nothing underneath is beyooooond me” He smiled as he latched onto her nipple.  Rebecca wanted to say something clever about that but was cut short with the wave of pleasure that hit her as he sucked on her breast. His hand cupping the other one. She moaned loudly and was grateful she did not have any neighbours that could hear her. Ted pushed her back lightly, and her legs buckled as she hit the edge of the bed. They tumbled onto it laughing at the fall. “Well that was certainly gracious” she mustered but didn’t have the time to comment further as Ted started pressing gentle kisses to her stomach, going down slowly but steadily. She could smell her own arousal, and was sure he could as well, as he tugged on her leggings. She lifted up her hips to help him take them off, along with her panties. “Gorgeous” he breathed out as he admired her, splayed before him completely naked. She smiled shyly at him, her already pink cheeks becoming a deeper shade of red.

Ted’s hands caressed her hips as he adjusted his position between them. He laid down between her legs, looking up for confirmation it was okay. She nodded at him and soon enough she was panting as Ted began licking and sucking on her clit. She grabbed the sheets as she continued to writhe on the bed, pleasure overwhelming her. Ted certainly knew what he was doing, cheeky bastard. She half expected Ted to be shy in bed, pretty vanilla. So far she was proven SO wrong.

As more and more warmth pooled in her belly she felt him insert two fingers inside and she moaned even louder at the sensations. Ted curled his fingers, hitting her right on the sweet spot, and she was done for instantly. Clenching hard around them, panting loudly “Ted..! Fuuuuck” she practically yelled. Surprising both of them, especially herself by how fast she was able to come.

Satisfied with himself Ted moved up the bed to cradle her, waiting for her to come down from her high, placing gentle kisses to her temple.

As her breathing evened out she turned to him “thank you” she whispered “Now, I believe someone’s overdressed for the occasion and it is not me” she smiled as she finished unbuttoning his shirt, sliding it of his arms. Ted helped her take the last pieces of clothing, matching her state of undress. Rebecca took the sight of him. He was certainly bigger than most her previous partners. She ran her hand around his shaft appreciatively and felt him twitch in her hand “R’becca” he mumbled. “Shhhh” she silenced him with a quick kiss before moving south. She wanted to taste him thoroughly, but remembering his previous warning she decided against it. She decided on giving him just a quick lick and squeeze. Her thumb circling the tip of his cock. Ted’s breath hitched at the sensations.

There will be other times and she wants him to be able to enjoy her fully. Throwing her leg over him she straddled his waist before taking him in her hand and lining him up with her entrance as she sank down on him, painfully slowly. Ted’s eyes closed shut as he tightened his grip on her round hips. She could’ve sworn that he stopped breathing. Her own breath caught in her throat, as she sat down on him fully, feeling the pleasurable stretch of her walls. He filled her in just so completely. They were like two pieces of a puzzle. She leaned forward and kissed under his jaw, his stubble scratching her tender lips. Rebecca then followed down, to his neck, her hands roaming his chest as they both stayed connected, sans movement. Both adjusting to the new sensations .When she finally felt comfortable she rolled her hips and his eyes shot open. “You’re so perfect Rebecca” he smiled, getting the hint and gently thrusting up into her.

They both moaned as the wave of  pleasure ran through them. Rebecca bit her bottom lip as Ted slowly started increasing the speed with which he slid in and out of her. Her palms pressing firmly on his chest to keep her balance. The angle was perfect, he was hitting all the right spots. Rebecca clenched her muscles, wanting to give him more friction, more pleasure. Ted grumbled at the sensation. Fearing he wouldn’t last much longer, and sensing that Rebecca was still not close enough he made a decision. He grabbed her by the waist and pushed Rebecca onto her back. She yelped in response. “Oh my God, Ted!” she laughed, the moment of building tension gone for just a second. Ted cradled her face in his hands, looking into her green eyes, a glimmer in his own. He then leaned in and kissed her deeply, his tongue caressing her lips, before starting to move his hips again. The moment was back. Rebecca run her nails over Ted’s back, that would surely leave a mark. “Fuuuuuuck” Ted groaned to the sensation, eliciting a shocked laugh from Rebecca. It was always surprising to hear him swear. “well, well, well... I must be rubbing off on you with the swearing” she said. “Oh you’re rubbing off on many things right now Darlin’ ” he quipped.

Rebecca never had so much fun having sex, the laughing, the bickering. Especially not during the first time she was with a man. She always felt some kind of tension, many expectations from the guys she was with. It was more about their pleasure than hers’. It was so completely different different with Ted. They could enjoy this intimacy, they felt comfortable around each other enough not to be intimidated by the newness of it all. It was both surprising and not at all to her. Ted was a giver, he cared about other’s deeply. So deeply it may sabotage him sometimes.

Rebecca’s thoughts were interrupted when Ted started pounding harder and faster into her, angling his hips to bring her over the edge. He was already so good at reading her.

“Oh Ted, I’m so close, please don’t stop!” she practically begged him, feeling her orgasm build rapidly. Her hair now a sweaty mess. She looked at Ted’s sweaty body, plunging deep into her, she felt the warmth spreading through her as she came with a throaty groan. Ted was just seconds behind her, finally letting go, as he collapsed onto her.

Breathing heavily he tried to roll over as  not to crush her but she kept him in place in a tight grip. Wanting to feel the heaviness of his body for as long as she could.

“Wow! that was something else, Ted” She breathed, completely satisfied. She meant it. She couldn’t remember a time a man had made her come so strongly. Sure she’s had orgasms before, but it never felt this good before.

“Out of the body experience” Ted replied, his head still pressed between her breasts. His fingers gently running up and down her sides, as her fingers got tang led in his sweaty hair. After a while, his cock got softer he slipped out of her, eliciting a disappointed groan out of both, and he took it as a cue that he should finally stop crushing her. He rolled off onto his back, dragging Rebecca to his chest this time.

“Mhh, always took you for a cuddler” Rebecca mumbled into his chest, planting a soft kiss to it.

“Not sure I took you for a cuddler at all” Ted laughed “You know, ‘not much of a hugger’ stuff” he tried to put on his best British accent as he pulled her in even closer.

“Mhm, I definitely am with you. You’re just so nice and warm” she snuggled closer to him. Ted hummed in response as he unfortunately started to untangle himself from her “nnnoooo...don’t leave” Rebecca protested sleepily “Be right back sweetheart” he promised as he ran to the kitchen to get them some water, as well as a warm cloth to clean her up. Rebecca couldn’t remember the last time someone took care of her last time. She felt dizzy and almost ashamed at his gentle ministrations as he cleaned her up from their lovemaking. Soon after he put the cloth away he came back and cradled her in his arms.

They quickly fell asleep after the exhausting day, both physically and emotionally. Cuddled so closely that it was almost physically impossible to sleep. Both however, for the first time in forever had a restful sleep, without any tormenting dreams.

The next morning Ted was surprised to wake up alone in bed, what was even more surprising was the time on the clock beside the bed which showed 9:00 am. Ted couldn’t remember the last time he was able to sleep that long. Brushing a hand across his face he sat on the bed and looked around in search of his boxers and t-shirt. After locating them he got up, got dressed and padded downstairs to find Rebecca chilling on the sofa with the cup of tea.

“Morning” he approached her and kissed her temple. Rebecca smiled into the cup before putting it away. “Good Morning, Ted” Rebecca grinned at him, getting up from the sofa and slowly walking around it to meet Ted. As she approached  him she put her hands on his arms as she flushed their bodies together. She then kissed him sweetly on the lips “Mhmm, my sleeping beauty” She murmured. “Right back at ya’” he smiled into the kiss. “Although ‘sleeping’ probably is my nickname today” Rebecca hummed as she pushed the tendril of hair from his forehead, looking him in the eyes. “Brekkie’s ready” she nodded towards the kitchen. “I have to admit that after last night’s exercises I couldn’t stop myself from eating first thing..” she blushed. “So you go ahead” she showed him to sit down by the table, filled with pancakes and some healthy and unhealthy additions. She then proceeded to make him a cup of coffee, before setting his drink in front of him as she said across the table. A cup of tea raised to her lips again, she studied him in comfortable silence as he hummed in appreciation as he ate. “That was delicious Rebecca” he complimented as he finally finished eating and put the utensils down. “Don’t get used to it, that’s about all I can make” She smiled. “I could live on these forever” Ted said “but no worries, I can make all kinds of breakfast for you in the future, even the full English one”. Rebecca smiled, imagining their future together. Seeing, in her mind’s eye Ted running in the kitchen, singing some cheesy songs, her coming up to him and squeezing him from behind, kissing him. She imagined him smearing the flour on her face and she’d fake offence as she kissed him senseless afterwards.

“I could get used to that” she stood up to take the dirty dishes and put them into dishwasher, but Ted stopped her hand. “no, no, let me, please” as he rose and took the dishes “you just go ahead and relax”.

Rebecca retired to the sofa, waiting for him. Her phone chimed and as she looked at it she blushed at Keeley’s message to spill all the deets on her night with Ted. She decided on a short message scolding Keeley for demanding something so personal, but deep in her heart she knew they would talk about it once they manage to meet.

“So, what’s the plan for today Becca?” Ted queried as he washed he dishes.

“Gotta head to the office, but for the first time in ages I don’t feel like leaving bed” She smiled at him. “How about you?”. Ted stopped his movements to reply her “I gotta go to my flat and see if there’s any more work to be done or...Beard did it all for me...I kind left him in a rush to get to you” Rebecca chuckled.

“I guess we both have some explain to do to our friends” she concluded. Ted smiled warmly at her. “yeah” she blushed.

After finishing her tea, and Ted was done with the dishes they headed upstairs to get dressed. Ted’s in yesterday’s clothes as Rebecca struggled to find an appropriate outfit for work.

They left the house together, but not before sharing a very sweet kiss inside. Their lips brushing getly against each other.

They did not want to be spotted by the paparazzi as they separated on the street. Wanting to keep their relationship to themselves and closest friends before all hell broke loose in the press.

Onwards, towards their new future. Together.
