Summary:

Itto and Gorou were simply two good friends enjoying some sake together one night when suddenly Gorou opens up about his self-esteem issues and insecurities, assuring that no man would ever actually like him back.

Itto, who has been crushing hard on the general for a long time, decides to prove him wrong.

Work Text:

It had been a busy and tiresome day for Gorou. Surely, the life of a general was frantic and with so much work to do over here and there, he was always on the go, either for a quick ambush on a unsuspecting hilichurl camp or a very organised and planned out mission that usually took days to plan carefully, yet still, as the workaholic he was, Gorou genuinely enjoyed the life he led and the duties he had to fulfil.

That is except, when it came to boring days such as this, where the most movement he'd get was the 6 step walk over to the cabinet at the other side of his small office so he can get more paper and ink to continue writing his reports.

After the abolishing of the vision hunt decree and the peace treaty with the Shogunate and the Tenryou commission, there was a lot of paperwork to handle, not that he didn't have these kinds of duties before but there was certainly a difference in just how often he had to do them now that there was no need to be out on the field as much as before.

Though the slow pace of work wasn't exactly Gorou's style, there was a benefit, and that was that he was able to take breaks a lot more often now, and even though he usually refused to take them and preferred to finish his duties, this week had bored him to the brim, so much so that he deemed a break necessary, which says a lot coming from mister-always-working. So, his one last sliver of hope for today was the fact that after a few more minutes he'd have three days to unwind himself from all this bloody paperwork.

The minutes went by quietly, too quietly in fact; what had been only about eight to ten minutes felt like another two hours for Gorou, the soft breeze singing a quiet lullaby as it drifted through the small open gap of the only window in the room, Gorou felt like he could fall asleep right then and there, but still, miraculously,  his hand and mind coordinated well for once as he finally signed off the paper he was working on.

He sighed heavily as he had finished his last report for the day, yet it wasn't until he layed back on his chair and stared blankly at the roof that he realised he hadn't really planned anything for his break, there wasn't really much he could do in three days anyway. Perhaps he could go fishing? But it's too boring to go alone, maybe he should go to a tavern and relax? But being honest with himself, he had no energy for people either, at least not a crowd, and still- drinking alone in a tavern? That's just depressing.

His thoughts wandered off walking through different ideas of what he could do, none of them really sparking his interest, that is until his eyes decided to wander through the room and landed on a little wooden toy he had on his desk; it was a cute little carved wooden figure of a shiba inu wearing a hat, he smiled fondly as he remembered how that little toy had been a gift from his now good friend Arataki Itto.

Despite a long history of barely knowing each other, after Gorou had started taking breaks more often and visiting the city regularly- he had finally gotten the chance to properly get to know Itto, they had spent countless evenings talking about whatever, it was never a dull conversation with the oni, he just never seemed to run out of things to say, and when it came to listen, he did so carefully and always tried his best to support you.

Gorou can't lie that at first he was a bit worried about the fact that Itto was a gang leader, though they were not really famous for any sort of crime, he still had his reservations about Itto's lifestyle, that is until he got the chance to meet the gang one day and realised they were all about playing childish games with a lot more passion than it was probably necessary and just hanging out and having a good time together, if Gorou were to say that he didn't enjoy the days he had spent with them he'd be a liar, specially if he were to ever say he didn't enjoy Itto's company.

His carefree spirit and fun nature was a huge contrast against Gorou's own personality, but it was exactly that contrast which he found specially interesting and endearing, the fact they got along so well was a surprise for him, but it was really nice to have a friend like Itto, he knows he could always count on him for a good talk, a good time.

The more Gorou thought about him and the more he thought about how much time had passed since the last time he and Itto had seen each other, there was no doubt in his mind that Itto was the friend he needed after such an ungodly boring week. He placed the toy back to its special spot and got ready to pack up, hoping to catch the next ship to Narukami Island.

~

The morning sun arrived along with the only boat scheduled to Narukami for the day, as a very tired Gorou carried himself along with a small backpack with his luggage on board of said boat. He wasn't the only early riser however, as after coming to his senses a bit more he realised there were other three men with him at the passengers cabin, who happened to be from his own army who were also on their break.

“-Morning general!” - One of the men greeted with a kind yet sleepy voice, Gorou recognized him as Hari, though they hadn't been on the field together much, he recalls him being a nice fella who got along with pretty much everyone. “-You're off to Narukami for your break as well, I see.”

“-Morning, yeah, I'm planning to visit an old friend, that's all.” -Gorou tried for his voice to sound at least half as sleepy as he actually was.

The other two men present joined in, saying their good mornings and as the ship left the harbour and began sailing towards its destination so did a small and sympathetic conversation amongst the four men on board, which Gorou was grateful for, as the need to actually think and respond to the conversation slowly but surely woke him up entirely, ready for the day awaiting for him.

It was a short trip however, thanks to the particularly strong wind that day, it took only a matter of an hour and a half when the captain called, announcing they were at the desired destination to the passengers. All four men said their goodbyes and wished each other a satisfying break with their respective loved ones.

Gorou waved one final goodbye before starting his search for the one and oni reason he was here for, however, his plan was interrupted by a fierce rumble in his stomach.

“-Right…” -Gorou hissed as if scolding himself for forgetting he still hasn't had a single bite of food ever since his ass left his bed.

It only took a moment and a second rumble for him to finally decide that probably a proper breakfast was the best idea right now, and on his way to a really good food cart he had visited with Itto before he thought to himself that it was probably for the best to take his time before trying to find Itto, as he knew firsthand from previous visits where he had to stay the night at the Oni's place that the guy wasn't exactly an early bird, and despite being already around 10am Gorou deemed more than likely that the lazy oni was still deeply asleep.

He walked through the streets with a slow but steady pace as he thought to himself that he probably shouldn’t make his break revolve around the sole mission of seeing Itto, and reminded himself that he was there to unwind himself from all the stress that had accumulated in his head as of late, so he decided to take a deep breath and enjoy the "journey".

He would not consider himself to be a poetic person, let alone a bard or some sort of artist, but he still had found his own way of finding the beauty in everything; after his years in the military and the civil war that sparked through Inazuma, he had seen his fair share of horrors. Things that to this day, almost a year after the war ended, still kept him up at night, making him wake up in a pool of sweat with tears rolling down his face every other night.

He would still get startled by sudden loud noises or moves, he recalls a specific occasion when he was talking over some work related issues with Kokomi in her office when he accidentally bumped into a piece of furniture from which a few books fell with a loud thud on the ground, he ended up tearing up in front of her, he was lucky she was not only his superior, but a good friend, who gave him a warm embrace before sending him home to rest for the day.

And he knew damn well he’d never admit this out loud to his shadow, but he hadn’t been in a good space mentally throughout and after the war, darker thoughts had flooded his mind and he couldn’t help but feel helpless at the thought of an enemy that no matter how strong he thought himself to be, this enemy cannot be defeated nor ever die, an enemy that was all bite no bark, hiding behind the confidence he learned to show and sometimes fake for others, and whispering in his ears as soon as he was left alone for too long with his thoughts. The voices of everyone he had lost during the war, even voices of his past, his siblings bullying him for being the little guy amongst them, his father questioning every step he took, voices he had buried far behind him, coming back to haunt him. It had never been easy for the general to be at peace with himself, and in the darkest of times, he had even found his own life to be worthless in the grand scheme of things, sometimes this thought was oddly comforting, other times, it had nearly destroyed him.

And yet, after the war was over, he had found himself appreciating life and all its little trinkets a whole lot more than he ever had before, things that a regular someone would only look at but never truly choose to see. After all the pain and death he had seen, after having experienced firsthand just how short and fleeting life really was, he learned to never take anything for granted.

We're here for a mere second, and the next we vanish like a promise written in the sand.

Gorou thought of this as the melody of the sea waves crashing on the shore flew right to his affined and fluffy ears, along with the sound of the sakura tree leaves moving with the refreshing morning breeze, his ears perking up and moving along with the sounds of people walking in the street, talking to each other as they head towards whatever is awaiting for them; his delicate nose catching all it could from his surroundings, the smell of every person passing by, the silk fabric from the kimono stall, the soft scent of sakura flowers so characteristic of Inazuma, and finally, a flavorful smell that brought Gorou out of his meditative trance, the smell of fresh breakfast being prepared, he had arrived to his destiny.

He greeted the chef and ordered a simple meal, just a single tamagoyaki roll accompanied with some steamed vegetables and rice, and a fragrant herbal tea as his drink of choice.

These were the kind of moments Gorou had gotten so fond of, the stillness of life, the soft movement amongst the veils of the ever-stopping ticking of time, there was a hundred and one things he could be thinking of right now, memories of the war, the responsibilities awaiting for him back at Watatsumi once his break was over, the never-ending disputes amongst his men which as a leader he had to deal with- but right now, his mind was blissfully empty, nothing going on behind his weary eyes, he was at such moment of peace he almost felt scared to what could happen next, that is until he took a long sip of his tea, and as the flavour melted away in his tongue so did any trace of fear.

He enjoyed his breakfast, probably a little too much. He made sure to take his sweet sweet time with every bite and sip, trying to make the moment last just a bit longer, taking in all the flavours he could, thinking about how if his stomach still had room after he was done, he might order some dessert, maybe some morning cake would be nice, he deserved it after all he had gone through, this week and every other week before.

As he sat enjoying his meal and taking in his environment, there was suddenly a certain sound that ever so slightly caught his attention, this sound only grew in intensity (at least for his delicate ears) as it seemed to approach him, until finally his ears perked up and his heart admittedly skipped a beat when he recognized the sound- no, voice he was hearing.

He turned around on his seat and there he was, the big and dumb oni he was here to see, talking away with his gang as they walked towards Gorou's location, it didn't take a genius to put two and two together and realise that they were heading for some morning fuel themselves.

However, their conversation seemed to end abruptly when Itto noticed Gorou, his mouth immediately drawing into a huge grin and his arms waved exaggeratedly as to catch the general's attention, which Gorou reciprocated by waving back.

Itto accelerated his pace until he was at least a few centimetres away from Gorou, who was just about to greet the taller man when he was picked up with ease from his seat almost a metre off the ground. The general couldn't help but blush a little at the thought of Itto being able to manhandle him as if he was a mere lavender melon.

“-Doggy general!” -Itto exclaimed with pure excitement and joy to see his good friend after such a long time, even if Gorou couldn't see his face at the moment, he swears he could hear the huge smile of Itto's face in his voice as he melted into the oni's strong embrace, which he held for a few seconds until he finally spoke again. “-You're here! It's been quite some time, huh?” -The man said, finally putting Gorou down from the seat he had swept him off of.

“-Yeah! It's good to see you too, and the gang as well, morning!” -he waved to the rest of the crew who had finally caught up behind Itto.

“-It's nice seeing you here, general!” -greeted Akira.

“-Hey Gorou, finally decided to take a break?” -Shinobu added standing right behind Akira's shoulder before fist-bumping Gorou.

“-Yeah, it's been a tough week…” -Gorou sighed admittedly, he had grown close enough to the gang to feel able to freely complain about work with them. He had done so in the past and despite them having zero experience in Gorou's line of work, they had still been able to help him in the past, either with advice or words of encouragement, Gorou felt safe calling them his friends.

“-Well then! Let's have breakfast together! I assume you don't have anything specific planned for today?” -Itto responded with his usual optimistic voice putting a hand on the hybrid's shoulder, which was more than enough to change something in Gorou's state of mind, not in a bad way, far from it actually, he was still very content and relaxed, but Itto had a such energetic presence he couldn't help but feel like a bolt of energy just zapped his head and suddenly felt ready to climb a mountain (which hadn't really crossed his mind, but now that Itto was here, anything could happen).

“-Actually, after this I was going to start looking for you.” He started. “-You guys are kinda the reason I came in the first place, 'just wanted to catch up with you.”

“-Awww! We missed you too, bud!” Mamoru responded right before reaching out to Gorou and embracing him in a tight hug, which the latter happily obliged.

“-Well, it's a plan then!” Itto started enthusiastically. “-Today we treat our special guest to our very best activities! Let's call it a Doggy-General's-perfect-amazing-and unforgettable-vacation!” -he declared proudly as he wrapped an arm around Gorou's shoulders, to then finally direct his eyes directly at Gorou's, who was too caught up in the energy of Itto's voice to realise how close their faces were to each other. “-We're gonna make sure you enjoy your stay to the fullest! How's that sound to ya?”

Gorou's dumb smile was pretty much imprinted on his face at this point of their interaction. Seems he was not wrong when he decided Itto was the perfect guy to go to after all.

“-I wouldn’t want to do anything else.” -He finally responded with a soft voice, almost sounding like a sigh of relief.

The gang grabbed their seats near Gorou, Itto sitting right next to him of course, everyone ordered some breakfast for themselves as a conversation unfolded just as quickly as Gorou realised his day could not get any better.

~

Gorou was thinking back to the thoughts his mind had wandered off to when he had just arrived to the city, the thought of how life passes by in a moment crossed his mind once more as his eyes were fixated on the image before him, the sun finally setting down behind the never ending ocean after such a nice day.

Itto kept his promise word by word, he made sure to bring him along with the gang and include him in all their activities scheduled for the day.

After a fulfilling breakfast, they started the day by going on the hunt for some onikabutos, which would later serve as warriors in several rounds of beetle fights.

Itto had gone a little wild explaining to Gorou the in's and out's of beetle fighting, and for once, Gorou kinda started getting into it when he began thinking about it as if he was training his soldiers for combat, the process was quite similar as well: getting to know your fighter's abilities and limitations, strategizing a plan for the perfect ambush or direct attack and of course, cheering them on through the process.

Except of course this wasn't a soldier, it was a poor little beetle who was suddenly swept off his daily beetle activities to fight against another just as confused beetle all whilst a bunch of grown men cheered and yelled at them. Or perhaps Gorou was reading way too much into their situation, maybe the beetles enjoyed this? They do seem quite eager to strike the other as soon as they are put front-in-front.

Itto was very enthusiastic in motivating Gorou to participate with his own fighter, which to the oni's surprise (and delight) the doggy general didn't need much persuasion to join in. However, Itto probably regretted his decision as he and the gang soon realised just how good of a general Gorou really was as it appeared he had such a strong warrior under his name, as Great Hungry Wolf (as Gorou called his onikabuto by Itto's suggestion) easily took down Itto's fighter for several rounds.

After his seventh victory of the evening, Gorou started to feel a little guilty for winning against the guy that had trained him in the first place, feeling as if he had somewhat betrayed his master and fearing that maybe Itto would feel a little offended or even hurt, as the Oni had a reputation of being quite prideful of his status as champion, but to Gorou's surprise, Itto's pride did not seem hurt in the slightest, on the contrary, he was praising and cheering Gorou on for having gotten so good in such short time, he even started talking about getting him into "the big leagues", it was apparent that he was proud of Gorou by the way he smiled at him the entire time they were supposed to be fighting against each other, Gorou couldn't help but smile back all the time.

The few activities after that were nothing really big or as eventful as the beetle fighting, they had gone for a walk through the Chinju forest, just to go for some dinner afterwards, and for the cherry on top, Itto insisted on treating Gorou to some tricolour dango for dessert.

As they admired the view before them, Akira and Genta couldn't contain their yawning as it had been quite the day for the gang. Kuki was first to leave the group, saying she had to check up on something before heading home, not before saying goodnight to the gang and telling Gorou that she'd be in charge of tomorrow's activities.

Mamoru, Genta and Akira soon said their goodbyes as well, they were very noticeably tired as they made their way back to their respective homes, slowly disappearing into the slowly settling night.

It was just Itto and Gorou left, there was such a silence between them for a change, however, it was not an uncomfortable one, but simply the sound of two close souls enjoying the moment together.

They were sitting mere centimetres form each other as they leaned against a fence, the night breeze and crickets sounding like a calming undertone just below the sound of their breaths, slow and steady, it was obvious they were both in a state of deep relaxation with their eyes still fixated on the horizon, or so Gorou thought- as his eyes instinctively turned to see Itto when he felt that the other's gaze had been resting onto him for longer than normal. And as he turned he was met with the exact view he expected, Itto's eyes fixated on him, though he couldn't quite read Itto's expression before the taller man got startled and looked away as if he had been caught doing something he wasn't supposed to.

“-What?” -Gorou giggled.

“-What? What What?” -Itto stuttered rather stupidly, making a not so graceful attempt at avoiding the question.

Gorou giggled at the Oni's response, it was always endearing to see such a big and bulky demon acting so sheepish and embarrassed to none other than someone like himself, so much smaller and harmless (at least by appereance).

“-What're you looking at?”

“-Me? Oh nothing, 's just, y'know…” -the oni took a moment before responding. “-I'm just really happy to see you again.”

A warm heat began rising in Gorou's chest as the oni said those words with what he could easily call the warmest and most gentle smile in all of Teyvat. Despite everything about Itto, his threatening appearance, his intimidating aura and the fact that he was an oni, a fierce monster capable of ravaging entire villages and killing a dozen men in one swoop of their powerful claws- in moments like this, Gorou was reminded of the kind soul he had the honour to call a friend. Itto had not a hint of malice in his heart, and despite his quite lacking mental agility, he had proven over and over that no matter how big his body may seem to be, his heart was way bigger than anything else.

“-And I'm happy to be here.”

For a moment, it felt like it was just the two of them in the whole world, as they kept looking into each other's eyes with a dumb smile on their faces, unable to look away, as if whatever they had found in the other was all they had been looking for all their lives.

After about a minute, Gorou's self-consciousness kicked in as he finally broke eye contact with Itto, both men directing their eyes to the opposite side from the other, still unable to really identify what exactly had just happened between them.

“-So… -Itto started, rubbing his hands together and getting back into his usual self. - Are you like, staying in a hotel or something?”

“-Oh, well, I was hoping to stay over at your place? Like last time? I mean, if it’s okay to you, I could totally look for an inn if you’re too busy or-”

“-Oh, no no no! You can totally stay over! You know you're always welcome at the Arataki mansion!” -Itto responded in his usual enthusiastic voice. “-Also, I got a this brand new bottle of sake the other day, would'ya like to try it out?”

Seriously, he had no idea what kind of spell this was, but Gorou simply could not say no to that smile, not like he wanted to anyways.

Both men talked all the way to Itto's place, and whether intentional or not, they were once again glued to the others’ side.

~

Though Itto's place was very far off from the mansion the oni claimed it to be, it was an alright little house for a man to live in, it had all the necessary, no less no more.

As Itto was searching for the bottle of liquor through the kitchen cabinets, Gorou took this opportunity to take a good look at Itto's place. Though he had already been here, some things had changed since the last time.

Despite what people could think about Itto, his place was not as messy as you'd expect; sure, he hasn't gotten any better at putting dirty laundry in its place, but apart from a few pants, shirts and a single poorly hidden boxer, Itto's place was actually very neat and tidy, sure, he didn't have much stuff to begin with, but what he did have was kept in its designated place and regularly taken care of.

He looked around and noticed how Itto's houseplant was a whole lot bigger than it was before, which made him predict that in any moment during their talk Itto will absolutely bring up the topic and brag about how he finally managed to keep a plant alive for more than a couple months, showing it off with a prideful smile as if he was a father showing off his award-winning child.

Gorou kept looking around until he saw something interesting- in between Itto's pile of books there were a few new additions to his collection that to Gorou, seemed a rather odd choice from the oni.

Amongst his usual Miss Hina books (which Gorou pretended not to see) and his books on onikabutos- there were around two to three cooking books, which Gorou thought was very strange, but he thought it was kinda cute that Itto took such sudden interest in cooking, however- that was not the only book that caught his attention, he realised there was a book on canine hybrids.

"Why would he have a book on this?" Gorou thought to himself as his mind raced through a hundred different questions at the same time, sure, it didn't really seem like a big deal at first, but he couldn't help but feel painfully curious as to why Itto was suddenly so eager to learn about his species.

Finally, Itto's voice took him out of his own head, though he did make a mental note to ask the oni about that book later.

"-Here it is!" He exclaimed as he brought the quite elegant looking bottle along with a couple of choko cups for them. He pounced happily towards the coffee table to finally sit down on the floor next to Gorou and placing the bottle and chokos on top.

"-Wow, it's very…pretty" Gorou observed as he gently held the bottle looking at the little fine painted details along the bottle and the very pretty imprint of the name of the brand, which was decorated with drawings of sakura petals and beautiful calligraphy.

"-I know right?! I found it on this travelling merchant's cart, so you'll be drinking special limited edition sake tonight, pup!"

Gooru couldn't help but feel a bit guilty that Itto was sharing with him such a valuable object, and he says just as much.

"-Are you sure you want to share this with me? Wasn't it expensive? You should save it for a special occasion." Gorou stuttered through his words as he offered the bottle back to Itto.

"-Pffft Please! This is a special occasion! You're here with me! I'd call that something worth celebrating." Itto responded as he took the bottle from Gorou's hands and opened it. "-Plus, if we're being really honest here… I wouldn't wanna share it with anyone else."

There it was again, that voice, that smile that made Gorou's chest feel so comfortably warm as Itto extended the now full choko to him. Again, he could not say no to that smile.

He took the cup and as Itto was serving himself, Gorou took a whiff of the liquid- and immediately started coughing as he didn’t expect this to be such a strong liquor, it was so strong he felt like he could already taste it in his mouth with just the smell.

“- Geez , Itto… who the hell did you buy this from? A shneshnayan merchant?!”

“-Ha! hahaha…I have no clue…” The oni laughed nervously just before taking a whiff himself, also making him cough from the sheer strength of whatever the hell that liquid was.

Both men laughed as they examined the bottle together, realising it was a specially aged sake that was left for a much longer period than usual, so basically- this was one beast of a sake not meant to be used for a casual dinner. Both men looked at each other nervously.

“-Well, this one could certainly take you down, huh?” Gorou joked, to which Itto laughed nervously. Though it is true that the oni, due to his bigger-than-average body mass he had, he was not easily taken down by alcohol, yet a little concerned look was enough to tell Gorou that this one bottle could very much be the exception.

“-I mean…it’s not like we gotta wake up early tomorrow, y’know?” The oni giggled, just before his playful tone morphed into genuine concern. “-But it’s ok, we don’t have to try it if you don’t feel sure, or we could just mix it with more water and-”

The oni stopped mid-sentence to admire in awe as Gorou chugged down the entire cup in a single breath. As expected- the drink was just about as strong as it smelled, if not stronger.

“-Hey! You okay? That was a lot!” concern in his voice as he brought his hands on top of the hybrid’s shoulders, genuinely worried that Gorou, a very small hybrid, could potentially get hurt or sick by this archon-forsaken drink.

However, the oni’s concern was met with a small giggle from the general, who turned up to look at him with a pretty normal expression, that is to say- he did not seem that affected by the drink after all.

“-It’s actually pretty good!” No slurring, no droopy voice, just his usual tone. “-It's kinda sweet.”

Itto was perplexed at the smaller man’s reaction, “how did that not hit him?” However, his confusion quickly turned into curiosity, and a spark of optimism took over his thoughts; “Maybe we can actually just drink this and relax”.

The oni did as Gorou and chugged the entire cup in one sip, by which he was immediately stricken with a potent burn in his throat, which caused him to cough just as Gorou did…however, the general was right, after a few seconds all that was left in his tongue was the sweet aftertaste of sugar and rice.

“-Wow… what kinda witchcraft is this?!” Itto exclaimed just as confused as pleasantly surprised.

“-I have no idea, but whatever it is-” Gorou said as he served himself another cup and chugged it down just as easily as the first time. “It is really good”.

A strange warm and fuzzy feeling bubbled up inside Itto’s chest by what he had just seen, he couldn’t even begin to understand why the hell he found the image of Gorou chugging down such potent liquor as if it was water so bloody hot. As soon as he caught himself staring at Gorou for far too long, he chugged another cup to distract himself from the burning feeling that had risen both in his cheeks…and somewhere else.

And just like that, they started talking whilst slowly emptying the bottle. Minutes turned into hours as their conversation shifted from topic to topic with no real direction, and this was exactly what Gorou had been yearning for. Though he did have more friends other than Itto, the oni was…special, when it came to many things. Conversations with him were never that serious, it was always a matter of futile yet flavourful talks about random things, both from personal experiences and anecdotes to his thoughts on various light-hearted topics, like which pastries are better or the kinds of teas that his grandma would prepare for him when he was sick.

However, this didn’t mean the oni hadn’t taken the general off guard with surprisingly deep conversations, though if you were to meet him just by the surface, Itto seemed like the type of guy to take nothing seriously and never really care about anything, but Gorou quickly learned that he really did, and a lot. He learned how his confidence had been built with the sticks and stones that had gotten thrown his way throughout his life, both the discrimination he had faced over his species (to which Gorou could relate deeply) and his oni nature. If Gorou were to ever say this out loud to anyone other than the gang, he’d be called a madman…but he truly respected and admired Itto, simply because of the fact that against all odds and all the trials he had gone through, the oni chose to be kind. He always let his heart lead.

Gorou thought of this as the oni, just like he had predicted, was bragging about how proud he was of his little plant for having survived at his hands, saying that all that gardening reading had really worked. Gorou couldn’t help but smile at every word that came out of Itto's mouth, his voice, his smile, his gestures which after several drinks had gotten clumsy and slow. None of them really noticed how drunk they were both getting, and it will probably be already too late by the time they finish the bottle.

Time kept passing them by and the bottle was almost done for. After Itto had finished showing off his plant, Gorou jokingly teased the oni about his still ongoing problem with keeping laundry in place, making Itto groan as the hybrid had brought the oni’s attention onto the poorly hidden boxers he saw earlier, to which Gorou couldn’t help but laugh in his face, and Itto, too drunk to really care, laughed along with him.

And then, despite the fact he was very much intoxicated at this point (or maybe this was the reason he had the courage to ask in the first place) he finally asked the oni about the one thing that had him so confused when he first noticed it.

“-So what’s with the new books?” His voice slurry and his movements clumsy as he pointed to the book pile sitting a few steps away from where they were sitting.

“-What about ‘em?” The oni responded, just as clumsily as the other had. This was one heck-of-a strong sake.

“-Since when are you so into cooking and hybrids?”

“-What?! I ain’t cooking hybrus !”

“-No, ya dummy! Cooking and hybrids! Why’d you got books about that?”

“-Ahhh that! Fuck I guess the surprise is ruined then…” The oni admitted in defeat.

“-What? What surprise?” Gorou asked, genuinely confused as to what kind of surprise needed both cooking and hybrid knowledge, the drunkest part of his brain kinda started to think he really was going to cook him up in a meal.

“-Well if I told you it wouldn’t be a surprise anymore”

“-Well, if you don’t tell me I might actually think you want to eat me!” Gorou laughed, and Itto soon joined in, realising there was no way out of this one.

“-Okay, okay… so I had been thinking-”

“-Archons, help us all!” Gorou teased.

“-Hey! You’re mean, general” the oni laughed at Gorou’s banter. “What I had been thinking…so, you’re like a dog hybrid right?”

Gorou nodded after teasing Itto by rolling his eyes at such an obvious question. He wasn't sure himself if this sassy attitude was a result of the alcohol or the playful aura Itto always carried with him, perhaps it was a bit of both.

“-Well…I found out that because of your dog part you can’t eat a lot of things dogs can’t either, right?”

“-Right… what’s your point?”

“-Well…I was talking to Shinobu a few weeks ago and I thought about getting you one of those pretty chocolate flower bouquets for your birthday! But she said that you can’t eat chocolate and I was like- that can’t be right! Then I got that hybrids book and it turns out it’s true! And I just thought it was pretty sad that you had never tasted the fucking glorious flavour of chocolate…”

Gorou was seriously taken aback by all of this, apart from the fact that he had totally forgotten that his own birthday was drawing close, this was a lot of information for Gorou’s already numb brain to process, his mind blurring out some parts of that sentence and instead repeating over and over again the part about how Itto had wanted to get him such a gift, his thoughts looping around how expensive those bouquets were, why Itto would gift him such a big gift, but most of all- wasn’t that kind of a romantic thing couples give to each other?! Why was Itto gonna give him one of those for his birthday?! Again, he felt that rush of warmth growing in his chest and cheeks, and the fact that they were already quite warm from his own drunkenness only made matters worse as he felt himself burning inside out.

“-So…I looked up some cooking books and I found out that these carob seed thingies taste exactly like chocolate but without the thing that hurts dogs so it is like- totally safe for you! So I was just trying to learn how to make it so-”

“-You studied all these things and got into cooking…for me?!” Gorou interrupted, his brain foggy and only really reading into the context he could focus on.

The question seemed to catch Itto off-guard, though the hybrid was drunk, he could make out his expression to be one of utter confusion, almost as if he had said something tremendously obvious.

“-Well duh! ” He exclaimed after a pause. “You’d think I could live with myself knowing that my best friend has never tasted chocolate?!”

“-Itto, you and I both know you’re not fond of books, let alone studying something other than onikabutos, why’d you spend mora and time on something so insignificant?” Gorou slurred and stuttered through his words, which flowed like water from his brain out of his mouth, not really thinking before letting them spill.

“- Insignificant?! ” Itto replied, probably sounding more offended than he actually meant. “Dude, you’re my best friend! Your birthday is a special day for me whether you believe it or not!”

“-But, why?! You could’ve just gotten me something less complicated”

“- Pup , you’re talking to the Arataki-never-half-ass-anything Itto here! If I wanted to give you a big and meaningful gift for your birthday, I’m fucking gonna!”

Gorou, for once, was at a loss for words, there was nothing in his head that he could let slip out of his mouth. A hundred different emotions hit him all at once, but after a moment he realised that in his head and heart the most prominent emotion was shame, and a hint of sadness. And by the look on Itto’s eyes, this emotion was noticeable in his expression.

“-Why’d you think you’re not important to me?”

This was serious Itto, though still very noticeably drunk, his voice lowered down into a tone of concern, so did his eyes as they stared deeply into Gorou’s own. The smaller man feeling cornered by the question, he had not expected the oni to read him so easily, and for one, he really had not much of an answer himself, and he says just as much.

“-I don’t know…” He began, his brain moving faster than his mouth for a change. “Why would I be so important to you?”

The aura of the room darkened unexpectedly, the playful banter was quickly replaced by a much more serious intonation between both men, who were very conscious of this shift, unsure how to respond to it.

“-I mean…” Gorou finally decided to elaborate. “I’ve never done anything for you, I’m just some guy who randomly pops in to say hi and have a good time. I’ve never really been that relevant to anyone outside of my status as a general or when they want advice”.

“-Oh c’mon, you don’t actually believe that, do you?” Itto finally responded, with a certain tone in his voice Gorou couldn’t quite analyse due both to the alcohol, still very present in his system, and his own emotions drowning the last bit of rationality left in his head. “I mean, I know for a fact you have people back at Watatsumi who care about you, friends? A girlfriend?”

“-Heh, yeah right…” Gorou involuntarily chuckled at the mention of that last word. “Sure, I have friends but I don’t really have hope with that last one…”

“-You gotta be joking, right?!” Itto laughed wholeheartedly, until he realised by Gorou’s expression that he was dead serious. “ Right?...

Gorou giggled for the first time after the conversation had gotten serious, finally, he took a look at the bottle of sake, seeing how it had enough liquid for one more cup- Gorou decided to make himself at home and chugged down the remaining liquor directly from the bottle. Not very sure himself why, he just knew (and somewhat hoped) that it would shut him down for good. However, this backfired, as the last trace of consciousness left his brain, leaving him only with the part of himself that felt like he had nothing to lose, ready to spill.it. all.

“-Y’know…it’s not that easy for me” He babbled as he crossed his arms on the coffee table, letting his head fall on top of them.

“-Now you’re just not making any sense, pup…” Itto said, leaning onto the table with one elbow then resting his head on top of his hand. As much as he tried to be serious, his brain was spinning inside his skull, the alcohol hitting once more. “You can’t just tell me you don’t have an army of chicks behind ya while looking like that !” His words flowing from his brain to his mouth, not bothering with any sort of filters.

“-Looking like what , exactly?” Gorou teased, giving the oni a confused look and drunken smile. “Like a tired dude, with zero social skills who can’t even flirt with a guy ‘cause he’s too scared to get his ass fired or something?”

Again, Gorou was not thinking his words as he didn’t even realise the kind of bomb he dropped as if it was nothing, something he had been scared to even admit to himself was now being used as a self-deprecating joke. He did not even stop to think what Itto’s response would be after knowing Gorou is into guys; sure he knew Itto would never hurt him or anything, but a part of him felt terrified just at the thought of losing the oni as a friend and making things uncomfortable between them. Gorou knew damn well that he would not be able to live with himself if he pushed away the one guy that he had fallen for.

However, he would’ve never expected for the oni to laugh, and the fact that he was too drunk to read the oni’s intonation was starting to become irritating. Yet his doubts (and the fear) he felt vanished at what the oni said next.

“-Well, if the guy really did try to get your pretty ass fired he’d be a fucking idiot for missing out on you.” Itto chuckled, his words slurry yet painfully clear to Gorou’s ears, did he hear him right? Has he already passed out and was dreaming all of this?

“-Oh yeah? And what’s so cool about me that would be a shame to miss out on? I can’t even keep my tail well brushed, dammit!” Gorou fought back, suddenly turning the conversation into some sort of sad argument with Itto, unsure if he kept pushing on because he wanted to prove the oni wrong or because he wanted to hear what he had to say.

Itto, despite being drunk as hell, seemed to catch on with the kind of cue Gorou might’ve given him, despite the fact that his brain was very much foggy, he still stopped to think whether or not he should follow on what he wanted to say to the pretty boy in front of him. But alas, kids and drunks always tell the truth.

"-My, my general…I thought you were like a genius but turns out you're quite stupid ". Itto spit out, probably sounding a lot more rude than he intended.

"-Excuse me?" Gorou responded in shock to what his friend, Itto, the one gentle giant who would never hurt him, just called him "stupid" ?

"-So you're telling me that you just haven't seen yourself in a mirror? Like- actually seen yourself?"

"-I got things to do, Itto, I don't got time to waste just looking at myself tryna figure out what's wrong with me"

"-The only thing I see wrong with you right now is that you don't seem to realise just how fucking hot you are". The oni spit out, slurry but fucking loud.

"-What?!" Gorou nervously laughed, unsure if he had really just heard what he thought he heard. Him? Hot? . "Damn, you're really drunk, aren't you?!"

"-I might be drunk now but you've always been a treat for the eyes, puppy." Now he was really off the rails, not holding back what's on his mind, and most of all- not thinking about the consequences.

"-Oh, so now I'm just supposed to believe you that I'm this boy magnet or something?" Gorou pushed on, trying to pretend not to be as flustered (and horny) as he just realised the pet name Itto had called him by.

"-I mean, you don't have to believe me…" Itto slurred as one of his hands clumsily reached out and caressed one of Gorou's ear, which sent shivers down the hybrids spine as his already burning chest and cheeks seemed to cross a limit he couldn't think was possible, he just knew that everything burned even brighter than before when Itto touched him. "But maybe I could show you".

Gorou sat up in a bolt, eyes wide open and heart racing at Itto's proposal, he was not lying or exaggerating when he said he didn't consider himself to be attractive, so the fact that not only just a guy, but Arataki fucking Itto, one of the hottest men Gorou has had the pleasure to see, was actually suggesting to have sex with him only to prove a point.

"-I mean…I won't do anything you don't want to do, pup. I'm just sayin'...I don't know about you being a boy magnet…" he paused for a moment. " …but you sure got me …" And there it was, a look Gorou hadn't seen before, it wasn't Itto's usual friendly smile and happy face, this was a part of him Gorou just got to meet for the first time. Itto's eyes held such raw emotion, such power, so much hunger - and that damn smile was no longer the one of a friendly chap, but a grin that had the power to make Gorou's legs suddenly feel like jelly.

Any sense of rationality had left the table long ago, as Gorou felt as if he had been captured by Itto's eyes, that the hybrid noticed were now no longer looking directly at his own, but were now roaming around his body as he, like a moth being drawn into a burning fire, was now crawling on all fours towards Itto until their faces were so close all they could smell was the other's intoxicated breath.

And just like that, completely giving in to his desires, Itto took initiative and went in for the kiss.

It was a quick chaste kiss that lasted no longer than a moment, however, it took Gorou only mere seconds to clash their lips together once again, then slowly opening their mouths to start a wet and sloppy kiss, tasting nothing but the strong alcohol that still had total control over themselves, but at this moment there was not a single thing in the world other than the both of them.

Instinctively, Itto brought his hands to Gorou's slim waist, moving his hands around and feeling every centimetre of the hybrid’s hot and soft skin, letting his fingers tease around the base of Gorou's fluffy tail and his hands gently caress the hybrid's abdomen, feeling his slim but toned figure, much more smaller than his own, and specially, he fixated on Gorou's beautiful v line as his head was consumed by unholy thoughts of what he had been only dreaming to do to the general.

Gorou responded to this by bringing his hands to Itto's strong arms, moving his digits through the oni's boiling hot skin, letting himself touch and admire every muscle of the oni's toned body, slowly and tentatively moving his hands to the larger man's chest, circling around his hard pecs before giving them a squeeze, which the oni took as an invitation to do the same with Gorou's firm and soft ass, drawing a high pitched yelp from the the hybrid.

The room, which only a few minutes before was a place for a friendly meetup had suddenly turned into something completely unexpected for the two men, the room now reeked of alcohol and ungodly levels of warmth, as the sound of their moans and mouths clashing clumsily onto each other bounced through the four walls of Itto's living room.

Gorou felt like he was in heaven as all his senses were overloaded as he could feel Itto everywhere , his large hands touching everything , he felt himself drowning as the oni shoved his large tongue deeper and deeper inside his mouth, almost reaching his throat. Despite being already so full of the bigger man, Gorou's best hidden instincts began craving for more, he wanted- no, needed to be entirely filled by Itto, every part of his body marked by the fierce oni, he needed himself to be full of him until he couldn't take no more.

Gorou began humping onto Itto's lap, making the oni groan at the friction between their crotches, the smaller man felt satisfied with the reaction he had gotten from the oni, however he was soon to realise that he was not the only one succumbing to instinctive desires.

In the blink of an eye, Itto had plummeted Gorou to the floor, pinning the smaller man beneath his larger frame drawing a beautiful sound from Gorou, who seemed to get even more turned on by the oni using his sheer strength on him; something that in normal circumstances would've resulted in the general feeling more than embarrassed by his unnatural reaction to the pain of the impact, but right now all he knew was that he liked it, and he wanted more .

Itto attacked Gorou's mouth once again as his hands took care of the general's clothes, disposing him of his armour and finally revealing the grand prize by removing the smaller man's pants and underwear, leaving him completely vulnerable and bare under him.

Once he was done, Itto stood on his knees and simply decided to admire the gorgeous view before him, taking in every last piece of Gorou's body, gazing as if he had the most beautiful sunset before his very eyes, Gorou's soft skin shining in golden and orange tones due to the dim warm light of the candle-lamp, he took in every single detail of the hybrid’s body, not just his built abdomen and arms and legs, but also every scar and wound he had gotten in the war, some were smaller scratches that stayed for longer than desired, others were deep and could easily tell a tragic story from the battlefield. Gorou's body was like a tapestry of experience, reminding Itto that the man he was so in love with wasn't just painfully gorgeous, but also one of the strongest guys he'd ever have the honour to have in his life.

However, as Itto took his sweet time admiring the smaller man's physique, Gorou was starting to grow more and more impatient for every second his body went without feeling Itto, but when he removed his arm from over his eyes and saw Itto staring at him for such a long time and with such attention- another voice surged in his head, the voice that even through his horny haze of heat and desire, he could recognize as his enemy.

Thoughts stroke him down as arrows being shot his way with nowhere to run, rationality no longer here to try contain them, and thus…despite all his efforts of not ruining the moment for Itto-

"-Gorou? Are you ok?" Itto's gentle voice called to him as he shut his eyes and felt tears rolling down his warm cheeks.

Itto leaned down to Gorou's face, softly wiping away his tears. The hybrid was now softly sobbing.

"-Did I hurt you? Are you uncomfortable? We can stop right now." Itto's voice was filled with concern, whilst still trying to be assuring to comfort the smaller man.

"-I'm so sorry…" Was the only thing Gorou could sob at that moment. Taking Itto by surprise.

"-Baby, you have done nothing wrong…if you don't wanna do this we can-"

"-No, I do!" Gorou exclaimed through tears. "-I really, really want to do this with you. I've been dreaming of this moment for so long but…" He paused to catch his breath. "-I know I'm not what you want."

"-What the hell are you talking about?!"

"-Oh please, Itto…" Gorou scoffed through the tears. "-You just saw it for yourself…all my ugly scars, my weird-looking body, there's so many more guys out there with better bodies than mine, I know I'm not perfect! "

"-To hell with perfect , I want you !" Itto exclaimed, his eyes never turning away from Gorou's and his hands holding tightly to the others'.

A deafening silence filled the room as Itto's words echoed over and over through the walls into Gorou's floppy ears. Both men's hearts were still racing, waiting for the other to respond, until Itto realised he needed to step up.

"-You are…so much more beautiful than perfect could ever be." He began, stuttering through his words, part of him still terrified of speaking his heart out. "-I love you, Gorou. I've loved you for a long time, and you know what? I love all of you…everything about you just- caught me, you've had me drooling like a fool just by seeing you around before we even became friends! That armour of yours was of no help either, you just showing your pretty abs around like that!"

Gorou giggled at the mental picture of Itto drooling over his scarred abdomen, which the oni took as a signal that his words were getting through.

"-Thing is…I don't even know if you'd believe me if I were to tell you just how beautiful you are, how perfect you are…to be honest, at first I myself couldn't believe how hard I had fallen for you. Your scars, your fears, your bad days, your good days…I love all of them… all of you. "

Though they were still sitting on the cold floor of Itto's living room, Gorou felt as if he was in the clouds, Itto's words entering his ears and landing straight onto his heart as he felt like he was falling in love with Itto all over again.

Gorou raised himself a bit with one hand and caressed Itto's face with the other, again, their eyes gazing into the other's realising that they indeed had found something they had been looking for all their lives. The feeling of warm safety and unadulterated pure love drowning Gorou entirely. He knew it would take a lot for him to be at peace with his body, but thanks to Itto's words, for once he felt like there was hope that he could get better.

"-I love you". Itto said in a whisper before kissing Gorou's hand as it gently travelled through the oni's face.

"-Show me." Was all Gorou had to say for Itto to pounce into him once again with a deep kiss, pinning him gently on the floor as Gorou wrapped his legs around Itto's waist, pushing down his pants with his feet as well as using his hands to try and remove Itto's shirt before the oni decided to help him, breaking the kiss for only a moment before diving back in once his tone torso was bare for Gorou to admire.

Itto's hands resumed their journey through every curve of Gorou's beautiful physique, however he did something different this time, as with every move of his hands he whispered something into Gorou's ear that slowly began sending the hybrid back into that state of pure lust and hunger.

"You're so beautiful"

"How I've longed to touch you like this"

"So very pretty"

"Your pretty abs drive me insane"

"How I want to fill this pretty stomach of yours"

"I want to hear your gorgeous voice"

With every whisper, Gorou felt his heart beating faster and faster, butterflies going insane not just in his stomach but every part of his body.

Unable to spend another second without Itto completely inside him- Gorou used his feet to pull down Itto's pants for once and for all, to which Itto reacted by pausing his handy session to give Gorou a smile, and damn that smile , Gorou felt like he could melt right then and there. And after taking a look at Itto's hard cock he did almost turn into a pile of slime condensate, not surprised but still amazed by the oni's member.

A hard rock and leaking length of about 20 centimetres, not only that, but it was also very thick, specially at the base and at the head, which curiously followed the red marking patterns on Itto’s skin. Gorou felt himself drooling by the mere sight of it, too needy and hungry to even fear for his own safety.

"-Don't get too excited now…I gotta prep you up first." Itto said, trying to remain his composure as he felt himself burning just by the thought of what he was about to do, but still concerned for Gorou's safety.

Gorou groaned in frustration, he didn't want to wait, he needed Itto now . And then, as if his mental pleads were heard, he felt his entrance being stretched by one of Itto's fingers, that even if they were nothing compared to the oni's beast of a cock, they still stretched him out really good, he couldn't help but moan and whine to the feeling of a second intruder moving around inside him, teasing to touch that sweet spot inside him, moving in a scissoring motion that sent bolts through his spine, if he was this of a moaning mess just by Itto's fingers, all he could do was get himself all the more excited thinking about what was to come.

As for Itto, he felt like he could cum just by the gorgeous view and melodious symphony he had before him, Gorou's insides were so very warm and soft, just the thought of entering that gloryhole and filling it up with his seed until it leaked was sending Itto over the clouds, and the view? Damn . Gorou's melodious and messy moans accompanied by the utter beauty of his body, twisting onto itself because of the stimulation inside him- Itto had fantasised and even dreamt with this scenario, and yet he soon realised that this was more beautiful than whatever picture he could've ever made up in his mind. This alone was driving him crazy, but he tried his best to constraint himself until he was sure Gorou was ready for him. Yes, he adored Gorou like a madman, and because of that, he would never forgive himself if he ever hurt him.

After a few minutes and two more fingers, Itto finally deemed Gorou to be ready for him. He slipped his fingers out slowly, drawing a whine from the smaller man as the feeling of being empty was unbearable to him, but this feeling quickly bubbled into excitement as he remembered what was to come after.

Itto sat up and put the smaller man's legs on top of his shoulders and positioned their hips together, not before giving the general's soft and thick thighs a good squeeze which made the smaller man whine. Gorou moaned to the feeling of Itto's warm tip teasing around his wet entrance, his breath changed into a quicker pace, impatient for what was to come.

The oni positioned the tip of his throbbing and leaking cock to the smaller man's hole, but before doing anything else, he leaned down to Gorou's neck and planted soft kisses eliciting beautiful sounds from the pretty boy pinned under him, the thought of such godlike beauty trusting himself entirely to him made every part of himself flutter with a feeling that could not be described as anything other than love.

"-You ready, pretty boy?" The oni's gentle voice caused a million different feelings inside the hybrid's chest, his body unable to raise the temperature anymore or else he felt like he might actually catch on fire.

"-Please." Gorou whined, his body couldn't stand not feeling Itto for one more second, his mind and heart racing.

Itto slowly began pushing inside, eliciting loud and shameless sounds from Gorou due to the overwhelming feelings he was drowning into. The oni felt as if he could cum just by this, the boiling hot tightness of Gorou's insides surrounding his cock was driving him insane as he slowly dove deeper and deeper.

As for Gorou, he could feel everything and nothing all at once, the only thing in his mind being the burning hot pillar sinking deeper into him, determined to reach as far as it could. In this moment, a small part of Gorou's consciousness was so glad that the alcohol still had a lot of control over his senses, if not, he was sure this would've hurt very, very badly, but right now, even the idea of how much it could hurt made his already hard and leaking member twitch.

That is until, Itto's cock touched certain spot inside Gorou that very quickly changed their pace, as Itto's ears were being blessed by the smaller man's melodious voice practically screaming out the oni's name  as the stimulation on his sweet spot made the hybrid cum, his shot splashing all over Itto's pecs and abdomen and the contraction inside Gorou's walls almost made Itto cum right then and there, yet he was able to compose himself at least for now.

"-Do ya need a moment, pup?" The oni whispered into Gorou's fluffy ears before running his tongue across the furry brim of it, sending yet another chill through Gorou's spine which travelled all the way from his head, through his spine and finally zapping his member, waking his once again hard member ready and waiting for the next round.

"- Fuck no …" he gasped with a string of voice.

"-You sure…?"

"-Please, just fuck me already! ." The desperate, hungry and oh so hot growl from the hybrid sent Itto into a frenzy, he now had his puppy's permission to go on, and he delivered.

Gorou screamed in utter pleasure as he felt the remaining length of Itto's cock entering him violently, completely changing the slow and gentle pace the oni had settled before, but Gorou was not complaining, in fact, all he could think about was how full he felt, like all his life there had been this emptiness inside him that only now was being filled to the brim, some sort of poetic ecstacy fogging his already numb brain.

And Itto? Oh, he was in heaven , he had never been a religious man, but he sure as hell started to believe in a divine paradise and this was it, there was no doubt in his mind that whatever bullshit celestia was about is nothing compared to the smouldering flames wrapped tightly around his hard cock, feeling as if they were sucking him in even deeper with every beat of his heart (and head).

He began setting a slow and clumsy rhythm as he once again kissed, licked and whispered into Gorou's ears.

" You're so perfect."

"You feel so damn good…"

"You're so fucking beautiful"

Gorou felt like he was melting, as Itto picked up speed and used more and more force with every desperate thrust into him. His delicate ears were being blessed by Itto's almost religious praises. Any hint of insecurities or cruel voices vanished inside his head as Itto's words made him feel like the most precious and divine creature in the whole world, the oni lovingly praising his body as if his small physique held a bewitching spell capable of swooning any man with just a taste of his heaven-sent skin.

The small room, now warm and humid, reeking of cum, saliva and sweat, filled with unholy screams, growls and cries from both men along with the obscenely loud noises of skin slapping against skin, Itto's sweaty thighs banging against Gorou's thick and wet ass- this room was no longer itself, but was transformed into a sacred temple of worship, in which Gorou was a godlike divinity of humanly impossible beauty, and Itto, his most dedicated, ferocious and selfless devotee.

Itto's movements became clumsy and his pace lost its rhythm as he felt his release approaching, his body was dampened in sweat along with his hair, his eyes watering from the divine pleasure that he knew only Gorou could ever make him feel. Meanwhile, the smaller man's body felt reduced to that of a ragdoll, his arms and legs trembling with heavy drops of sweat dripping from every part of his body, his hair dampened, strands of it sticking to his boiling hot and wet face, ears pressed onto his head and the base of his tail soaking from both the sweat and precum of the oni, who was now the only thing in existence for him.

There was not a single cohesive thought in his mind, if he were to be asked for his name right now- he'd say the name of the oni without a second of consideration about his answer, "Itto, Itto, Itto…" , his brain being consumed by smouldering flames and his body being ravaged from the inside out, all he could do about the hard masculinity thrusting inhumanely deep inside him was hold on to dear life, unconsciously burying his claws onto Itto's back and dragging them as he felt himself losing grip, only to strike again and repeating the process, trying to deepen Itto's reach inside him all he could, however, he began to feel a strange extra wetness in his fingers, but he was too lost in his own heat right now to worry about it, his mind laser focused on one thing: Itto, Itto and only Itto .

Meanwhile, Itto was being completely sucked dry by the divine glory hole that was now consuming him entirely, his consciousness was so lost within the warm and humid fog that is Gorou's lust spell to notice the bleeding claw marks the hybrid was making on his back.

Consumed by his need to claim every part of the beautiful presence beneath him, he leaned down and bit down on Gorou's neck whilst tightening his grip on the smaller man's waist with such strength that it would definitely bruise by tomorrow, eliciting more, louder and precious sounds from him, his cries almost sounding like a sustained chord intonating the oni's name, which only served as fuel to Itto's endurance as he finally reached his climax, not before Gorou had come undone a second time.

In the span of a second, Gorou suddenly felt a wave of boiling hot cum flooding his insides, then one wave turned into two, and two turned into a third final wave, heavily loaded with pure oni seed; the feeling of sheer ecstasy by being filled to the brim with Itto, the warm liquid burning him from inside as the owner of the seed collapsed on top of him, embracing him tightly with his head buried on the crevice of his neck, planting sweet kisses as he once again spoke nothing but words of unadulterated devotion to him, but still in this exhausted state, he used the little strength he had left to press the base of his slowly softening cock against Gorou's entrance to paradise, trying his best to keep his deity full of his seed, breeding him fully.

Before any of them could say anything, their bodies finally catching up to their exhaustion and passing out right then and there, yet still, even after everything they had done tonight, their bodies refused to be separated, their arms and legs intertwined amongst each other, not a single gust of wind blowing in between them.

Tomorrow there'd be a thousand different things to worry about for both men, but one thing is for certain, and that is that nothing will ever be the same after tonight.

Notes:

Hi! I hope you enjoyed this little one-shot I've been working on. This ship has been consuming me alive and I just had to write this idea down, it is my first work on this fandom and ship and I hope you liked it as much as I enjoyed writing it! :D
