His eyes fell shut again. Slowly. He was so tired and his cheeks were burning bright red.
Joel came over, a mountain of blankets in his arms. “Grian, my boy, I brought you some blankets.”, he announced, dumping them next to the bird man, before arranging them over and around his friend to make him feel safe and comfortable.
After successfully covering the sick man, he sat down next to him to wait for Jimmy, who came around soon after with some tea and some cold bandages to lower Grian’s fever.
“Here you go, babe.” He snickered and gave Joel the bandages, so he could carefully pour some tea into Grian’s mouth, who was feverishly and very dissociated looking into the air.
“Thanks, babe.”, Joel replied with a grin and put the bandage on Grian’s head. Jimmy put down the tea a few feet away, in case anyone accidentally hit it, and sat down next to the other two bad boys.
“Poor Grian. He’s gonna miss the whole session.”, he commented and looked at Grian with a pitiful look in his eyes.
Joel nodded, before tilting his head. “Hm… Maybe we could carry him around a bit. We definitely have to protect him!” He stood up and shook his fist.
Jimmy nodded. “Yes.”, he agreed and leaned against the blanket mountain around Grian, who seemed to cool down a bit.
“Hm… But how are we gonna transport him?”, Joel asked more rhetorical than anything.
Jimmy thought about it for a second before spotting the Llama a few blocks away from them. “Joel, I have an idea.” “Spit it out then.” Joel looked at the blonde over the top of his sunglasses.
“What if… we put Grian on that Llama!” He pointed at said Llama to illustrate his point.
The other man tilted his head again and thought about the idea for a few seconds. “That could work.” He nodded and looked back at Grian and then at Jimmy again. “But we have to take good care of Grian!”
- They did not in fact take good care of Grian, but they did try and Grian appreciated it -
