Summary
“I don’t believe you for a second,” the villager said with a scoff. “Reviving the dead? You, a god? That’s the most preposterous thing I’ve heard in all my years.”
“Oh? You don’t believe me?” Dream smiled. “That’s okay, I’m more than willing to give you all a demonstration. Tommy,” he called, gesturing to the blond.
Tommy knew exactly what was going to happen, and he knew that there was no point in resisting, for it’d be over quicker if he gave up and went along with it (and if he struggled he’d really just be making a fool of himself). So he walked over to Dream, quietly, obediently, and stood facing the crowd. At least his death would be quick this time, he thought, as he shut his eyes and felt the cool of metal against his neck. One slash, and the world went dark.
Or: Tommy didn’t originally plan to hit the water when he jumped off the tower in Logsted, so he hit the ground instead. Dream decides that’s as good a time as any to test out the revival book, and upon succeeding, decides he’s a god and it’s high time he gained some followers.

Summary
Tommy has killed 36 people.
The weapon in Tommy’s hands does not shake. It is steady, almost impossibly so, and Tommy will not miss his target. This is a fact that he knows. He knows the sun will rise, he knows the tide will leave, he knows he will hit his shot; Tommy is incapable of missing. He is perfect. It's his job to be perfect, and without this job, Tommy is nothing, so his hands are steady. He remembers the names of all 36 people. Not because he feels remorse or guilt, in all honesty, Tommy doesn't think he can feel. He remembers because no one else will. No one but him.
James Richard. This is a name Tommy will never forget, because, at the very least, he can remember him. At the very least he can remember his name.
He pulls the trigger.
37. Tommy has killed 37 people.
Or
Tommy is a trained mercenary who hasn't heard anything other than Dream's voice for the past seventeen years of his life.
Wilbur is worried.

Summary
The origin gods. 4 gods that created earth and saved hybrids from their grim fate. It could be considered to be one of the most famous religions in the world, with almost every hybrid you'd ever meet knowing and believing in them.
parents would tell their kids of how the gods saved hybrids from a war with the humans, and temples and towers were built and improved in the name of the origin gods. books and paintings throughout the years depicted what little was still remembered of the gods looks, and all hybrids admired the creators of their world.
but the humans didnt, of course. ever since the new age humans never like the hybrids, jealous of how much better they seemed to be, and despite the human leaders deal, humans grew apart from the hybrids and discrimination became scarily common.
In all honesty, its a horrible world, and that isnt going to change anytime soon.
And Tommy learnt to accept that long before he was meant to.
