You’ve clearly had a bad day. You don’t want to talk, and that’s fine. I just didn’t expect you to want me to touch you so badly.
You often get distant on days like today, like we’ve gone back to before that night in the forest. Before you knew I love you.
But tonight is different. You instead cling to me in the slightly clumsy way you do, holding my face, shoulders, hips, picking me up.
I’d usually complain, tell you I would’ve followed you if you’d simply given me the chance, but I don’t bother. Being snarky will only make you more likely to pull away, and I want you close.
I want the chance to comfort you. Distract you however you’d like me to.
As we lie down in our bed, you press your lips against mine, less of a kiss, more just feeling my lips with yours, resting them there.
I move just slightly, rubbing my lips against yours and holding your face in my hand.
You shudder and kiss me gently. “Love me…” It’s not a question, but more a soft plea.
“Always. More than anything, Simon…”
You hum, curling in and tucking your thumbs under the waistband of my trousers. Okay…
I nod my approval and you help me out of them, letting me help you after.
I love feeling your skin against mine, even if it's just your legs tangled with my own, and it only gets better as you take off your shirt to more comfortably stretch and surround me with your wings.
Your kisses become deeper and you start to grind against me, tail coiling tight around my leg.
You quickly become almost frantic, and I hug you tight, unsure whether you need to be calmed, to be allowed to take out some of your frustration.
You groan and dig your fingers into my shoulder blades, your kisses becoming long moments of your mouth simply pressed against mine without movement other than the rocking of your hips.
When you cum, you pant against my skin, curling into the crook of my neck and taking deep breaths, trembling lightly.
I reach for my wand to clean you off and you push my arm back under your wing and pin it there, shaking your head.
I feel tears drip onto my neck, and I just hold you against me, letting you breathe in the smell of the soap I know comforts you more than you’re willing to admit.
The one I’ve seen you use to wash your pillow with, and haven’t commented on, even though it is infuriatingly incorrect.
You need the comfort more than I need to tease you, and it’s not actually expensive enough to complain about the misuse.
I kiss your forehead and you sob, apologizing almost incoherently.
“It’s okay… I’ve got you. You’re safe…”
“I know… That’s my problem… Been on edge all day for no reason… ‘s is better…”
I melt into you. Those words feel good to hear, as much as I wish your mind was easier on you. “Good… You should sleep, darling.”
“Probably will… Just hold me…”
“Of course. As long as you want…”
“If you have to leave later, wake me first… I don’t like waking up without you…”
I won’t be leaving this bed for anything tonight. There’s nothing more important than you. I won’t leave this bed until you do. “I will. I promise.”
“Thank you.”
“I love you, Simon. Always…”
“I love you too…”
