It started with Zed's Zedvancements. He got this idea of - how fast can one fly? Be it with elytra or natural wings. And, obviously, from all the winged hermits he chose Grian. Mostly because he was actually the fastest flier on the server and partially because there was nothing that could just chuck Impulse around. With a little guy like Grian, all they needed was to get Doc on board and toss the two of them from one side of the perimeter as far as they could possibly go.
Thank void for unlimited respawns.
"That was amazing," Grian giggled once he was officially declared the fastest, not teleporting creature, being, living thing, on the server.
"I'm pretty sure X could toss you faster and further," Doc hummed, rolling and stretching his natural arm.
"Really? Why didn't you say it sooner," Zed grumbled and hopped already messaging their admin.
'X, please, come to the perimeter, it's important!' the global message read.
'On my way?' X's response didn't seem all that confident after multiple messages of Doc tossing both Grian and Zed to their death.
They didn't have to wait long for X to land. And killed most time with Zed going over the data his complicated speed measuring devices collected. Apparently, both Impulse and Tango were dragged into helping to make it.
"What is the issue?" X asked as soon as he landed.
"We need you to toss me and Grian as far and hard as possible, because Doc over here is saying you can do it better than he," Zed explained hopping with excitement.
"And my shoulder hurts already," Doc added.
"Come on X, it'll be fun," Grian added batting his eyelashes to keep X from just leaving. He wasn't one for nonsense like this. And was likely busy with something important.
The admin sighed. "Fine," he sighed and got 'yay's from both shorter hermits. Doc just chuckled. "Just let me get my armour off,"
"What? Don't you need it to breathe or something?" Grian asked, shocked. Zed nodded along.
"That's just a rumour," X grumbled. "I think Jevin started it..."
"That and you used to go about without it a bit more often back in the day," Doc noticed.
"I did?" X wondered briefly as he pulled a shulker out of an ender chest either Zed or Doc put on the experiment site.
"You did, I think Biffa got worried when you nearly stopped getting out of it," the creeper nodded as X slowly and meticulously removed the dark green plates. "You should get out of it more often."
X just shrugged, pulling his helmet off. Grian's eyes were glued to the admin's usually hidden physique. He was... gorgeous, for the lack of a better word. Tan even though it was often hidden. With pale scars climbing up his strong arms. Peeking from under the tight, sleeveless shirt that exposed his stomach. Grian wanted to touch him all over. And he'd likely say something about X's tail, long, black and ended in a fluffy tuft of white fur that looked a lot like it'd feel just like his messy, half-tied up, shoulder-length hair, sticking from over his tight pants.
"Who's first?" he asked stretching and rolling his shoulders.
Grian would need a second to recover so he offered, "Zed it's his advancement after all." The sheep hybrid had nothing against it.
"Sorry if you die," X grinned apologetically once Zed was settled in his hold.
"No holding back, toss me as hard as you can," Zed nodded, checking his elytra straps one last time.
"You asked for it," the admin sighed and tossed him with so much force Grian felt the wind on his face.
All three of them were quiet as they waited for the result...
'Zedaph experienced kinetic energy after being thrown by XisumaVoid'
"I splatted against the opposite wall, dude," Zed yelled as soon as he respawned.
"I knew I should have gone higher," X chuckled as Grian recovered his ability to talk and Doc laughed maniacally. "At least it wasn't the strength of the throw," he shrugged.
"What?" Grian asked very curiously.
"At some point I tossed someone, I forgot who, so hard they died just from that," X shrugged as if that was normal.
"Do you think you could get Grian all the way to his boulders?" Doc asked grinning like a real mad scientist.
"There's no way," Grian shook his head. Yeah, X was strong but his base was a fair bit away from the perimeter.
"We'd need a higher angle," Zed was already making the calculations with Doc quickly joining in leaving X and Grian with nothing better than chatting to do.
"Do you really think you can do it?" Grian asked, taking his sweater off. They were likely doing it anyway so he can try and get ready for it.
"There is the chance of death on launch," X hummed eyeing the other edge of the massive hole in the world, looking in the distance.
"I bet you can't toss me that far," Grian puffed, his eyes going purple. "And don't you worry about the launch."
"It's a bet now?" X raised one eyebrow.
"Yes, if you can't do it you'll have to tell me what's wrong with my kelp farm," Grian continued to egg X on.
"Okay, and what if I do?" X grinned, amused by his antics.
"I'll owe you a favour, anything you want me to do," Grian huffed, arms crossed over his chest.
"Okay, you're on," X nodded and they shook on it.
"Great, keep this safe for me," Grian grinned pulling X lower and wrapping his red sweater around the admin's shoulders. X merely chuckled but didn't complain.
"We have the angle," Zed announced. "The force might..."
"It won't be necessary," X grinned already getting ready to toss Grian. "Remember the bet, and I'll bring the sweater to your base," he said and tossed him even harder than he tossed Zed.
Grian probably never flew that fast without using his watcher powers. He flew over the whole perimeter, barely registering Doc's house over the edge of it, only slowing at the point from which he could gently glide, no wing flapping as per Zed's instructions about the achievement, to the top of his nether portal. Damn, X was sexy as all hell.
'X you... fell free to collect that favour whenever,' he wrote in chat, settling to wait where he was for X to bring his sweater over.
"Okay, I'll go and bring this to him," X giggled seeing Doc's and Zed's shocked faces.
"Give him this too," Zed managed to say passing a trophy.
X accepted it, collected his shulker and flew off with his elytra. He found Grain sat on one of the floating rocks, staring off into the opposite direction. Lost in thought. "You okay?" he asked tossing the sweater over his head.
"Yeah, that was really great," the 'avian' grinned looking up at X with his usual charcoal black eyes. "How's your arms and shoulders?"
"Slightly sore from how hard I tossed you, but I'll be fine," X shrugged and joined Grian on the edge of the rock. "Zed send the trophy."
"Want a massage? As a thank you for helping us?" Grian offered accepting the trophy.
"Sure," X accepted with a shrug. Good massages were hard to get on their server and he wasn't about to say no to one.
"Follow me then," Grian giggled and dropped from the top of the portal rock to glide to the main entrance to his base. X following close behind.
After landing, Grian took a suspicious look around. Something about Doc dropping charged creepers on his base. "I didn't touch his copper," he pouted as he led Xisuma deeper into where his bed was hidden behind some chests. The Hermitcraft standard, as much as X tried to fight it, mostly because BDoubs was demanding it. "Just lie down and I'll get the things," Grian grinned presenting his bed to X and running off to grab all the oils and stuff he'd need to do it properly.
X lazily tossed his shirt and shoes into his shulker and lay on the bed. Relaxing preliminarily as he waited.
"Oh... hi..." Grian blushed as he came back. He wasn't expecting X to just drop his shirt like it was no big deal
X lazily grinned at Grian. His tail lied to the side, just the tip moving a bit "Hello," he hummed, his eyes only half open. "You've got a very comfy bed," he hummed, happy Grian decided to not put his sweater on. Grian was cute, for a watcher. Could be why X was fine with having a literal god on his server. Might be selfish but he didn't care.
"You do look comfy," Grian chuckled, trying to not faint. And regretting not thinking out the logistics better. Even with the two best stacked together, there wasn't much room for how X lied out, starfished and very content with himself. There wasn't much room for Grian to sit., unless he was willing to straddle X. "Had a hard week?" he asked, setting the basket of supplies on a random shulker he pushed closer to the bed.
"Kind of," X sighed as Grian lit a couple of candles and set them in safe spots. "Going all out on me?" he grinned, tracing Grian's every move.
"Well, you do work hard," Grian shrugged once the last candle was placed. It was time to figure out how he was going to do it.
"You can sit on me, I don't mind, just watch the tail," X hummed, almost as if he could read Grian's mind. Which he definitely didn't.
Grian just nodded, still thinking of a way out. There was none so he ended up straddling X's lower back, just above his tail. Warming fragrant massage oil in his hands, trying to not overthink it. "I wonder what you might want from me," he hummed, in an attempt to distract himself from their position as he slowly started to massage X's strong, covered in scars back. He was unfairly attractive.
"I might have an idea," X hummed. "But I'm not sure you'd be willing to do it."
"Try me," Grian grinned. He liked poking the danger too much not to.
"Let me kiss you as much as I want for a whole hour."
Grian froze. Did he hear it right? X wanted to kiss him? For a whole hour... "Only kisses?" Grian hummed resuming the massage. "What if I said more is fine?" Grian breathed focusing on his hands.
He yelped as X turned around in one fluid motion as if Grian weighed nothing. Which he likely did to him.
"I'd say I'd like to use it now," Xisuma grinned, chuckling as Grian's eyes went lower to stare at his chest. "Eyes are up here," he chuckled and the watcher's eyes snapped to his. "There you are. You okay with this?" he asked, just to be sure.
"Yes," Grian nodded breathlessly, carefully resting his hands on X's stomach.
"Great," X grinned. "Shirt off if you would."
Grian never stripped that fast, nor cared so little about stains and where his shirt landed.
"Look at you, so pretty," X praised, as Grian struggled with removing his pants without even being told to do so. "Any of those fancy oils good for this?"
"All of them," Grian admitted, blushing slightly. He might have been planning to use this chance to maybe seduce Xisuma. Especially once he found out the armour was a preference and not a necessity. And how pretty Xisuma was under it.
Xisuma couldn't help but giggle. Grian was adorable. "Any preference?" he asked with a smile.
"Pref... bottom..." Grian blushed even more.
"Mhmm, how about you get naked for me?" Xisuma asked folding his arms under his head.
Grian blinked a few times as his mind caught up to the request. He nearly fell down as he wrestled with his grey t-shirt. Blushing at the amused chuckle from Xisuma.
"No need to hurry, I'm not going anywhere," the voidwalker grinned as Grian tossed the shirt somewhere, activating a shrieker who knows who left there.
"I know," Grian grumbled fighting with his pants and gravity that did its best to pull him to the ground. And succeeded as he tumbled down with an undignified shriek.
"You okay?" Xisuma asked, quickly moving to make sure the avian was okay.
"I don't think so..." Grian whined. He was clearly in pain.
Xisuma nodded and gently got him up from the ground, gently seating him on the bed and checking for any damage. "Anything hurts you?" he asked.
"I think my wrist and wing are a bit bruised," grian managed to say through tears. He was clearly underplaying the pain he was in. "I'm fine we can..."
"I'm not doing anything to you if you're in pain," Xisuma stopped him. "Are there any potions in this mess?" he asked. Grian's wrist and wing were clearly twisted, not badly but it was enough to cause a lot of pain.
"I don't think so..." Grian sniffled.
"I think I have some in my ender chest," X smiled and quickly put it down, not bothering with Grian's chest monster. He quickly found a healing potion and set it on top of the chest. "I'll need to set your wrist and wing first," he warned.
"Okay," Grian nodded and took a deep breath. He'd rather jump off the bridge connecting his and Mumbo's base but he also knew it might not fix it all that well. "I"m ready," he nodded, grabbing at the sheets with his healthy hand.
Xisuma easily and with some loud screaming from Grian set both joints in place before giving him a potion. "There you go, you should be as good as new after a nap," X smiled, kissing Grian's wrist gently. "I should have caught you faster, sorry."
"Don't be, I should have been more careful," Grian stopped him. "And it should be me apologising... I interrupted..."
"Don't, it's fine, we can carry on after a nap if you want," X smiled. "If you let me stay with you?"
"I would never say no to cuddles," Grian smiled, leaning forward a bit.
X smiled and shook his head. "Careful, it's all fine," Xisuma chuckled. "Get settled, I'll be right back, just need to find a blanket."
"More kisses?" Grian asked, not moving at all.
"Once we're settled for a nap?" X sighed not sounding at all upset.
Satisfied Grian settled on the bed. Half on his side, the not hurt arm side, and half on his stomach. Arms folded under his head. Humming and kicking his legs as he waited. Xisuma quickly found a dark red blanket tossed over a random chest. How could Grian live in this mess... It was nearly physically painful to see it. Ignoring it and pushing the urge to force a storage system into the space he returned to the bed.
"Feeling better?" he asked, getting in and covering them with the blanket.
"Now? Much better~" Grian grinned cuddling close to Xisuma. "Warm," he hummed. "Kisses."
"Cute," Xisuma chucked before burrowing Grian in kisses until he finally fell asleep. Himself following close by, just to be woken up by a horny avian bouncing on him far too early the next morning...
