Work Text:
Silence.
A deafening hell to Marcy.
And as they shook with sobs, their girlfriends holding them tight, they knew they didn't deserve this.
Silent kisses and praises from a god shunned those thoughts away. Tight holds in a warm bed reminding them that their girls deserved so much better. So much more than them.
Anne kissed their face silently, shushing Marcy when they cried harder with regret.
God's do mistakes, they pondered, otherwise this god wouldn't want them.
