You had recently settled in, you’d arrived in town to see your sister but you didn’t really approve of her dating the local loud mouth oni who was always getting into trouble, that is how you met Goruo , see at first you thought he’d be perfect to set up with your sister to get her attention off that Oni you found annoying but then you began falling for him yourself.
You where a tsundere man, a little on the shorter side , you are a bit hard on the surface but you where shy and sweet underneath, as well as good fun, you had dog features too , that wasn’t why you had fallen for Gorou but you found those features to be super cute on him.
Your sister worked at a local restaurant as a waitress , you liked visiting her, and often was asking if there where any openings. To the dismay of Itto you had moved in with your sister booting him to live with traveller until you found your own place, you didn’t want to be in the same house as your little sister banging that big oaf you’d think to yourself.
You walked into the restaurant to see your sister and to get something to eat.
You where sipping on your tea when you heard an annoying voice. “Yo ears , why don’t you join me and my gang at my table !”
You’d turn your nose up at Itto.
“Hey boss still no luck with him”
“HAH he’s just mad, I’m banging his sister , quite well I might add but come on boys this is mee , Arataki Itto we’re talking about , I’ve got this in the bag , he’ll warm up sooner of later, then I can move back in with my girl” Itto beamed assured of himself.
Itto was loud so you overhead “heh good luck with that” you mumbled to yourself.
You finished up your meal and walked over to your sister now on break, a letter slipped out of your bag and you gasped as your sister picked it up.
“From your secret admirer “ she gasped “bro!!!!!!!!! IS THIS A LOVE LETTER!!!!!!!!!!”
“What no it’s no”
Itto sprung to from his seat an raced over “WHAT’S THAT”
“Oh I’m sorry bro …it’s private isn’t I better put it awaaa OHHHHHH it’s for?”
Itto was all excited “who, who’s it for”
“We better not read it Itto, bro I am so sorry –“
Itto takes the letter from your sister and starts reading she jumps up trying to get the letter and he hold it high……..height is the enemy of your family tree.
You are dying of embarrassment as Itto reads out the letter.
“From your secret admirer , I have been struggling with my feelings for you Gorou for a while , your are kindest , sweetest person ever”
Itto smirks “Oh hohohohoho We all knew you loved Gorou”
“HEY give it back” you hiss.
“bababababbab Mr horns is reading”
“I’m surprised you can even read” you grunt.
“HEY” Itto groans “reading might not be one of my many, MANY talents but I can read “
Itto clears his throat and keeps reading. “everyday I see you make my heart beat faster, you always know the right thing to say to me, sometimes I feel like I’m not good enough for you but I know you get sad that you do not have somebody, I wanted to know that you are loved and you are special and everyday I wish I’d get the courage to ask you out but then I freak out thinking of your beautiful face telling me it won’t work…….why would a guy like you be with me”
Itto laughed “Awwwwwwwww the puppy is in love , don’t worry Ol Mr horns will help ya, and maybe then you can be nicer to me and less judgey about me dating your sis.
Itto nudges your sister and whispers in her ear “Then we can finally get less interruption’s you know what I’m talking bout “ he winks.
“Stop this !!! I , I I’m not even sending it, I could never send it then he’d know who sent it”
“but bro isn’t that the point”
“no……..I just wanted him to know , to feel loved…….to ugh forget it give me the letter back”
You rip up the letter and throw it out, you almost feel like crying but instead march right over to Itto and your sister.
“Can’t you two for one second not annoy me ”
“I’m sorry bro”
“uhh babe don’t apologise to him , yo , we’re willing to help ya if you quit being grumpy ears”
“I never asked for your help” you hiss at the two turning your head then you spot him Gorou , his soft porcine skin, his huge aqua eyes you just want to dip into , that smile…….and he he looked over and smiled at you was so fucking cute it should be illegal
your heart nearly explodes ..........
, you fumble and blush panicking looking at your sister smiling at Itto and him smiling back.
“Don’t you dare” you warn,.
“Yo Gorou Y\N here wanted to ask you for out some drinks maybe tonight”
You panicked , this was terrible , you just did the first thing that came to your mind
“yea me and my sister heh just for some fun”
Itto whined “but me and your sister where gonna go-”
“SHHHHHH” you snap glaring at Itto
Gorou shouts back “I’d love that , I’m just heading to the bathroom , I’ll come and make arrangements for when I’m free in a little bit.
Your sister high fives Itto “YES ITTO “
“heh I’m the best I know , I know but hey you are going too? If that’s the case maybe I should go”
Your sister shakes her head “nope Itto the less the better “ she winks at you and you groan.
Itto pouts a little “All right but don’t get too drunk , I don’t want any guys making a move on my girl not unless I can show them to the door or we can duel it out , you know show them how amazing I am and woo you “
You roll your eyes.
Your sister holds Itto’s hand and smiles “Don’t worry about me “
Goruo comes back “So you two are wanting to hang out for drinks “
“uhhhh “ You nervously mumble.
Your sister speaks on your behalf “Yes we’d love that in fact my shift is over in like 5 minutes , we could head to the bar.
“That sounds great , I’m always pleased to spend time with my good friends”
“Good friends” everytime Goruo referred you as his “Friend” it was like a frozen pick was impaled through your heart, it really hurt.
“Are you coming Itto” Goruo asks.
“nope looks like it’s a dog’s only party , I guess us Oni’s are not allowed”
“He’s just joking , he’s just busy “ You say pushing Itto on his way “On your way I’m sure you and your gang have important stuff to addend to”
"Hey" Itto pouts.
Your sis signals to Itto an obvious big thumbs up and he signals one back back.
You turn back and glare at your sister.
She playfully whistles and turns away.
“Is something wrong “Gorou asked puzzled.
“EH no my sister was just being silly ..........as usual “
Gorou shrugs, must just be sibling squabbling of something.
Later on the three of you are drinking at the bar .
Your sister is getting a little drunk “I better head out , Itto doesn’t like me getting to drunk without him there , he says he needs to be there to duel anyone who hits on me when I’m drunk, don’t tell him but sometimes his over competitive ways are a little silly”
Gorou laughed “I’d have thought he’d be used to people finding that silly by now”
“Your leaving “ You panic “but”
“Yeah I better go “ Your sister laughs pointing to the window where a pair of horns in a bush are spying.
“Ugh what a fucking Idoit that Oni is” you groan “probably has plans after you leave , make sure you aren't taking him home ” you huff at your blushing sister.
“Oh we aren’t gonna do anything like that heheheh “ Your sister lies.
You roll your eyes , but at least it is distracting you from being alone with Gorou.
“Maybe I should head out too”
Gorou sighs “So soon , I was hoping I’d have a drinking buddy for a bit longer , I don’t drink much as I have to keep my body and mind fit but I was enjoying my time with you”
Your heart thuds in your chest and your words escape your mouth before you mind can stay cautious “Ok I’l say”
“That’s wonderful” Gorou smiles.
It’s like you are impaled by his cuteness “How can he be this fucking adorable” you think to yourself.
The two of you keep talking , and it gets to the point you wonder should you say something , his friendly eyes meet yours but there is a little heat in his gaze, his tail swishes playfully as you ask him about his favourite hobbies , (how cute he says you should mountain climb together sometime )your knees feel all wobbly though , your palms are all sweaty , it’s all so stressful……..you just want to tell him “I fucking love you all right?” you just want to hold him…………stroke his tail even……….
“Gorou I-“
“Yes”
“I think I’ll order some more drinks for us”
“I think I’ve had enough but go ahead."
If only you hadn’t done that……….you thought it would calm you nerves …….you kept drinking more and more.
“Hey Gor-U have I ever told you how my sister such a dork”
“uhhh I don't think so"
“and when we where kids she was always crying over something but you know I was always there for her *hiccup* "
“How gracious of you “ Gorou laughs nervously.
“I kind of wouldn’t mind being there for you tho”
“Well that is very thoughtful “ Gorou smiles.
“You have one sweet little ass , you know that” you purr
Gorou blushes “HUH”
“I always wanted to tell you that, *hiccup , that and I’m madly in love with you and you are always on my mind”
“You what? !!” Gorou is shocked “I- I that took me a bit off guard but I”
You vomit on Gorou “Oh I’m so sorry I just , oh I don’t feel uggggggggggh”
“We need to get you home” Gorou says a little worried about your state.
