Ch 3 Chrissy remembered hearing the gossip that Martha Kent’s son had left town, possibly had run away. After a few months that died down and he was mostly forgotten. As she got older, he was just known as the son who left and never visited poor Martha. Which was probably the first red flag. What kind of son would not visit his mother repeatedly for the holidays?
But after a few years, when Chrissy was in high school, she remembered hearing news that Martha’s son was living in Metropolis and had gotten a job at the Daily Planet.
