“Venti,Venti!” a voice calls out from behind him, Venti turns his head to find his best friend hu tao calling out to him. he grins in her direction as she runs towards him.
“Venti~ guess what” “what is it this time?” “I JUST GOT TICKETS FOR XINYANS NEXT CONCERT!” venti’s eyes widened in shock “ NO WAY HOW DID YOU GET THOSE I THOUGHT THEY WERE SOLD OUT EVERYWHERE”
hu tao chuckled nervously “ahahahahah you ask to many questions” venti cocks an eyebrow in amusement. “ wait when is the concert again?” “ huh oh it’s next tuesday,why?” venti’s grin slowly turned into a frown “shit” he cursed under his breath
“is there something wrong?” “aha bad news dont shout at me ok? i uh cant make it next tuesday”
“oh ok no problem”

“…wait WHAT?!”
if the hallways weren’t empty venti was sure one of the teachers would have heard them and lectured them for being so loud.
“ oh c’mon venti~ all of our friends are going to be there plus you have been cancelling all of our hang out plans recently as well. AND AND it’s not just me you have been cancelling on ok it’s EVERYONE they told me themselves”
venti winced at how loud hu tao was being.” look in my defence i’ve just been really busy ok?”
“lies your never busy” venti momentarily panicked as he tried to think of an excuse. hu tao being his beast friend since the were little kids could see right through him.
ok in all honesty he wasn’t lying he has been really busy. i mean his professor has been asking him to try new instruments and that took some of his time but not much being a musical prodigy did come with its perks.
but…he wasn’t ready to tell all of his friends that he had a lover. not just any lover in that case, it just had to be the oh so famous gamer xiao formerly known as alatus in the gaming world or something like that was what xiao had told him.
“a-and i’m really sorry but uh can’t you give the ticket to someone else i have to do something important”
“ oh come on venti” hu tao groaned exasperatedly what could be more important than going to your favourite idols concert!” venti and hu tao kept squabbling about the subject until they heard a voice
“ oh? what’s this I hear? is venti actually not going to the concert with us?” both of them quickly turned their heads to see kaeya standing behind them with albedo beside him.
venti had no idea how kaeya had managed to become friends with albedo in a few weeks compared to venti who took 2 whole months. let alone actually start dating and become a couple. albedo always seemed to look so focused in his work. it was a shock to everyone when they announced that they were dating.
“uh yeah sorry about that something came up” kaeya eyed him with suspicion. venti has always known kaeya was very perceptive which was why he was very careful around him. if he ever found out he was sure kaeya would tease the the living shit out of him.
“yeah oh would you look at the time! class is almost starting gotta go see ya!” venti hastily waved his goodbyes before he dashed off in the direction of his classroom.
“he’s definitely hiding something” kaeya said as he leaned against the lockers. “ oh i know i just can’t figure out what though he’s never kept any secrets from me this is definitely weird” hu tao agreed as she watched venti’s figure disappear “ i got to say even i am suspicious of how he has been behaving he’s been cancelling all his plans hang out with us “ albedo added.

venti let out a breath he didn’t know he was holding when he finally entered the classroom. luckily for him he was the only one here. i mean who else would be here he was always the earliest. all thanks to xiao, he made sure venti was always on time for college. he really did have the best boyfriend in the world.
when he put his bag in his chair he could feel his phone vibrate in his pocket. he took it out to see who was texting him and of course it was his very dearly loved bf.
baobei❤️: did you get to colleges safely?venti: of course i did i’m really careful don’t you know
baobei❤️:yeah tell that to all of mugs i had to replace cause you kept dropping them
venti: HEY IN MY DEFENCE THAT HASNT HAPPENED IN A LONG TIME
baobei❤️: baobei you know i love you but did you perhaps hit your head somewhere because you literally broke one this morning
venti: I WAS SLEEPY OK SLEEPY
baobei❤️:yeah sure totally believe you
venti groaned there was no way he could win an argument against this man. but then again he also loves this man guess he has no choice than to put up with him.

a smile appeared on xiao’s lips when he could imagine how venti was groaning cause he made a point. xiao had always found it cute when venti tried to be mad at him.
it somehow never worked and later would turn into a cuddling session but hey xiao wasn’t complaining,he loved cuddling with his boyfriend
“ oh why so quiet all a sudden we’re you texting your mysterious boyfriend?” an annoying voice came through xiao’s headphones. his smile immediately dropped when he realised that he was on a call with his team.
“none of your fucking business ajax” xiao snapped back at him. “ oh? are you mad because mr annoying pointed out that your boyfriend wasn’t real?” another voice came through. xiao rolled his eyes “ one i do have a boyfriend and he is real, two yes i was fucking texting him and you guys ruined the fucking moment” “ oop someone’s angry,look just because we have boyfriends dosent mean you have to have one i don’t think anyone could be within ten feet of you without being scared” scaramouche taunted again.
xiao could then hear a faint ow sound coming from scramouche’s side of the call. a different voice came through this time. “ sorry about that xiao i hit him for you” ah yes this was xiao’s fourth favourite person the first three spots were reserved for venti of course. scaramouche’s not annoying boyfriend kazuha. “ thank you kazuha~” xiao replied. he smirked as he could hear scaramouche grumbling over how he just got hit by his boyfriend.
