Chapter Text
It was a cold night and the sky of Yokohama was covered with a thick layer of dark clouds as the rain fell with a wind that made every drop feel as a tiny rock hitting your skin
The three members of Mad Trigger Crew found themselves in the comfort of the leader's living room and enjoying the warmth of the coffee just made by the ex soldier.
"Good thing we had this meeting tonight..." Jyuto said, raising the mug to his lips to then take a sip. "I have to admit I would have been worried about you being in your camp in middle of this storm." He looked at the man sitting next to him.
"I have experience with this kind of weather, but yes, this is easier." Rio responded.
The brunette looked over at the albino sitting across him who had been too quiet for what he was used to. He was staring out the window, watching the rain while smoking a cigarette.
"Is there something troubling you, Samatoki?" Jytuo asked, deciding to light up a cigarette himself.
"Mind your own business, bunny cop." Samatoki responded, without even looking at him.
Jyuto just clicked his tongue and rolled his eyes. "That's what I get for caring about you." He said before taking a drag and making sure to blow the smoke away from Rio.
Samatoki sighed. "I got this feeling in my gut a while ago..." He said quietly. "Don't know what it is...but I can't stop thinking about it." He narrowed his eyes.
Jyuto raised an eyebrow. "Wasn't it something you ate?" He asked.
"If you're not feeling well I can prepare a drink that will help your digestive system feel as good as new." Rio said, getting up and turning towards the kitchen.
Samatoki snapped his head back to face the other two and his cigarette fell off his mouth. "I-I'm good I'm good." He said quickly.
There was a sudden noise coming from the door that made the three men turn towards it in surprise. Strong and irregular knocks on the door, as if the person on the other side was desperate.
"Samatoki?" Jytuo looked at the albino.
Samatoki frowned. "Probably one of those idiots that works for me fucked things up and thinks I'm gonna save his ass." He spat. "He's gonna have to deal with it himself." He crossed his arms.
There was another knock, this time the sound of the fist dragging itself down against the surface could be heard.
"Maybe we should check if he needs first aids." Rio said. "That knock sounded like the one of someone at the verge of death..."
Samatoki clicked his tongue and looked away. "Ugh." He stomped towards the door and opened it. "Hey you fu-" The words died in his mouth at the sight in front of him.
A shivering form was doing its best to stand in front of him, but the posture that made the person look smaller than what he was supposed to indicated that it wouldn't last long. His whole body was drenched and his jet black locks were sticking to his face, framing his mismatched blue and green eyes wide open in horror.
Not even when they were battling he saw that expression of fear and weakness in the youngest Yamada. It was a expression he knew very well, the expression of someone who saw their worst nightmare coming true right before their eyes.
"What the fuck are you doing here?" Samatoki asked, but instead of the annoyance expected, he just sounded weirded out.
The boy looked up at him, shivering as if he was having a personal earthquake in his body and opened his mouth. "D...dead..." Was what came out as a breathless whisper, before he grabbed the albino's shirt with all the strength he had left and gave him a pleading look before fainting right in front of him.
