Summary
Eddie’s stomach twists in some emotion he’s never felt before. It’s not disgust, why would he be disgusted? His best friend who he may or may not be in love with, is like this. Why is it wrong if he is like this? It’s not, and Eddie knows that, but there’s still this tiny voice in the back of his head screaming at him that he can’t love a man like he has to love a woman. He digs his head into his open palms and pushes against his eyes in hope to maybe force them out of his head. He’d rather lose his eyes and bleed to death if it meant he didn’t have to participate in the wrath of his very religious parents.
Or: Eddie realizes he’s gay and tries hiding a deeper secret from Buck, but one thing leads to another, and something happens.

Summary
The killer robot swung its arms in all directions.
Panic ran through his veins as he avoided the scalpels being thrown at him.
In the background, Buck heard Chimney talk into his radio, “Harry, pick up the mic!” then the faint shuffling on the other end, “We need an axe and a sledgehammer!”
Buck, still being trapped on the other side of the room, thought, ‘What if I gave up? What if this will make it easier for everyone else?’ Then, he stopped. He stopped avoiding the scalpels. He just stood there, breathing slowly.
Or: Buck decided to give up in the Ross scene in 9x02.

Summary
Buck’s phone vibrated in his pocket, breaking the tension between him and Eddie. Eddie looked to the ground after taking a sip of his beer and Buck scrambled to dig his phone out of his pocket. Eddie looked back at him as Buck’s phone glowed in front of his face, leaving a dark green cast on it. Eddie saw Buck’s facial muscles tense as he read the notification.
“What? What is it?” Eddie asked, voice full of worry and concern.
Buck couldn’t speak. So, instead, he flipped his phone to face Eddie. Eddie’s eyes landed on his wallpaper first. It was a picture of him, Buck and Chris at the aquarium that they visited quite frequently. Eddie’s heart melted at the site and his face grew warm but then he remembered he was supposed to be looking at the notification. As he looked down, his heart picked up the pace as he was nervous to see what it was. Once he made it down to the message, his heart spiked.
Tommy.
Fucking, Tommy.

Summary
There’s a pause, and then Wednesday speaks again. “I admit that I do have one ulterior motive in asking you to visit for the holidays.”
Enid laughs, unsurprised; there’s the Wednesday she knows, even a phone line and a coast away. “Yeah? What is it?”
“I told my parents that I’m in a relationship,” Wednesday says, offhand, like it’s just another sentence and not a lightning strike to Enid’s heart. "With you, specifically."
