Unspoken, they’ve also decided the best and easiest stress reliever. The point is poignant when he notices her tight top and revealing skirt, surely not what she wore to work today. The air is dense, like a rain cloud entering the cab of the car. It isn’t all bad, what simmers underneath will be exposed in due time. But how she feels comes first. They talk all about what happened at the deli today on their drive to the late night diner, they talk about roommates, school…expectations.
