“You can’t do anything by yourself, can you, Bird?”
Matt paused like he wanted Jay to answer, a complete departure from his usual scolding methods. Jay fumbled around for a response. “I, uh— I’m— I can do stuff,” he said. “With— without you.” The defense was weak. His heart wasn’t in it. Jay also knew, deep down inside himself, that what Matt said was true.
“No, you can’t,” Matt corrected condescendingly. “Every time you try, you fail. It’s embarrassing, really. You’re useless without me.”
In which Matt tells Jay how stupid he is, and Jay learns something new about himself.

Summary
Quiet. All Jay had to do was stay quiet and Matt would never know. Normally he could control himself, think of something strange and awful to will his hard on away but this time it was impossible. It was really all Matt’s fault, if he hadn’t shoved Jay then Jay never would have shoved him back and then Matt never would’ve tackled him onto the couch and manhandled him into a position that made him feel so vulnerable that he started leaking precum into his boxer briefs.
_Jay gets caught and Matt gets revenge.

Jay can't dodge this one. Mrs. Johnson is turning seventy-five and she wants her entire family to spend half of December together. They've rented two massive cottages in a fancy winter resort four hours north of Toronto. Maybe, maybe, if he and Matt weren't getting married, he could duck out of it. Maybe if fifty thousand dollars weren't being dangled above their heads, he could whine and mope his way free.
