Summary
George Russell is a wedding planner at one of London's most established agencies, Williams Events. Secretly a romantic, he's been keeping life at arm's length since he got his heart broken, pouring all of himself into his job. He's fine. He's content. There's nothing more he could want - except for, maybe, being promoted to Lead Planner.
Max Verstappen has the perfect life - a loving girlfriend, two cats, a high-paying finance job, a beautiful house in Marylebone. His upcoming wedding to Kelly is supposed to be a coronation of sorts. It's also the very event which will determine whether George gets his promotion or not.
-- or, what do you do when you lowkey fall for your wedding planner / what do you do when you lowkey fall for the guy whose wedding you're planning?

‘Paddock Sources Claim Verstappen and Russell Left Same Hotel Minutes Apart’
Following another chaotic weekend between George Russell and Max Verstappen, fans are becoming increasingly convinced there may be more to the rivalry than either driver lets on publicly.
Neither Mercedes nor Red Bull commented on reports that both drivers were seen leaving the same hotel within minutes of one another late Sunday night.
Still, that hasn’t stopped the internet.
Compilations of lingering glances, suspicious body language, and oddly timed appearances have spread rapidly across social media, and rumor has it, some fans are now convinced Formula 1’s biggest rivalry may also be its worst-kept secret.

Summary
George sucked in a breath, back arching. His eyes darted everywhere except Max’s face, ceiling, wall, anywhere but those impossible blue irises burning straight through him.
Max dipped down, nose brushing George’s cheek.
“Look at me.”
George swallowed.
Fought it.
Lost.
His gaze dragged upward until it locked with Max’s; helpless, furious, desperate.
“There we go,” Max whispered, pleased. “Much better.”Like 12k words of smut. Chapter two is the aftercare. Based in a random ass cannon divergence

Summary
George knows how to fight with Max.
He knows the shape of it by now. The sharp comments, the steward visits, the wheel-to-wheel fights that follow them off track and into every press pen willing to listen.
What he does not know is how to handle Max being calm. Max seeing too much. Max refusing to turn away when George’s control starts to crack.
After Miami, George tells himself it was only another racing incident.
Then he watches Max race at the Nürburgring, and an accidental meeting in Monaco makes pretending even harder.
By Canada, where everything seems to be falling apart completely, George is no longer sure he wants to keep pretending that the thing between them is only rivalry.
