Dream gulped. Dream knew George heard. He knew he heard because he can practically hear the smile in George's voice. Dream brought the courage to say it again.
"Because I'm a simp."
"Exactly. Good job."
Holy shit. What the fuck is happening. The way George was talking feels weird. A good weird. A really good weird. Dream finally recognized the tone George gave when talking to him right now. It was the same tone he gave George when he was "flirting." It was the same smooth, low tone that would send shivers up anyone's spine. In this case, George was doing it. And it made Dream melt. And just like when something melts, something else rises. Heat.
