Before Mydei can respond, sharp fangs graze over his sensitive scent glands, careful not to break skin. Sparks pulse through his body, sending his mind reeling with dizzying intensity, the air thickening with the scent of jasmine honey. He doesn’t remember the last time someone’s even touched him there, let alone had the gall to mouth over his neck like some slobbering mutt.
“I’ll help you with your rut, and in return,” that sinful tongue darts out to lick his neck clean, lapping on the cut, “you’ll let me have a drink of this.”

Summary
At first, Phainon assumed Mydei was a beta due to a lack of scent. The crown prince of Castrum Kremnos moved with an aura of effortless authority—undeniably alpha—and all trembled beneath his piercing gaze. Yet he was nearly scentless. It’s not unusual for alphas to have faint or muted scents, but to be nearly odorless is a different story. Perhaps Mydei is simply a strong beta, or an alpha with godlike restraint over his scent glands.
It doesn't matter; it would be rude to pry. Phainon was never one to care about something as trivial as designations.
Although a deeper, primal part of him gnaws at him to lodge itself deeper and quite literally get under Mydei's skin, to get a hint of something from the other man.

Castorice opens her mouth, then closes it. She takes out a notebook and a pen to scribble something down, before turning back to him.
"…What exactly are we talking about here?"
"Mydei's stamina! Apparently, it's been harder for him to keep up with me without his immortality! Do you think I've been too rough with him?!"
Phainon is met with reminders that Mydei no longer has his flaw of immortality. The realisation is more significant than he had expected.

Summary
Phainon's skin has turned ashen, much like the dull grey of a weathered marble statue. Fractures split across his face, unusual cracks spidering outwards like shattered porcelain. An otherworldly, galactic glow bleeds through the fissures beneath the wounds, spilling most vividly along his cheek and his left eye, and the largest wound near his head burns a violet fire that flickers and pulses dimly.
“Deliverer,” Mydei says carefully, but Phainon flinches as if Mydei had just said something vile to him instead. “This is what you meant by waiting until it goes back to normal?”
An unexpected mishap reverts Phainon's form into that of the Flame Reaver. It's Mydei's job to show the prisoner of flames that he is still very much loved.
