    “Mrs. Wu-”

    “Don’t- don’t call me that, please.” You choke out, catching him off guard. He glances over at Chan, who shrugs, and then down to your joined hands. “It’s not my name, it’s never been my name.”

    He clears his throat. “Ma’am, I regret to inform you that your husband has been pronounced dead.”

    “W-what? I thought—I thought Channie hyung was going to spank me. I don't want...hyungie, I don't want you to do it,” Felix replied shakily. Minho raised an eyebrow and sharpened his gaze, challenging Felix to disobey a direct command.

    Chan cocked his head and gave him a patronizing smile. Felix was definitely in for a rude awakening. “Oh, honey, why do you think you have a choice? You were being rude to us when we asked you a simple question to try to see what was wrong, and then the answer you actually gave was extremely nonchalant. You know your Mommy and I don't tolerate disrespect,” Chan answered.
