Summary
The air blew around them in a way that was almost refreshing as Hyunjin dropped his jacket to the ground. A reprieve of a summer night.
And this was how Hyunjin liked them: in shadows, leaves rustling, rhythmic hum of cicadas offsetting what might otherwise have been an awkward silence. The sky was steadily becoming saturated with the bruised-purple of the evening, and it was what made this part easier – this part that was always the clumsiest, where two strangers began to learn each other’s bodies only to forget them by the time the sun came up again.
or: Hyunjin likes them a little haunted; a lot on the run. If they look like they'll linger, he doesn't bother. But there's one thing he never anticipated: the boy who makes him want to stay.
