my love letter to nakahara chuuya for his birthday. told through the eyes of those that love and praise him.
seven fics which can be read standalone but are also a single story across seven "chapters" detailing skk falling in love, dazai leaving, chuuya finding comfort elsewhere, and finally, dazai coming home and earning chuuya back.
ft. way too many references to the cosmos, dazai and tachihara treating chuuya like a god (bc he is one), and chuuya finally falling in love and being loved as he deserves in return.

When Chuuya became an executive and moved into his penthouse, he bought a bigger bed. It doesn’t matter much because the only person he really wants to share it with is as good as dead (but not dead, never really dead, that piece of shit would survive a nuclear winter along with the cockroaches, but he is still so far out of reach, even if to this day Chuuya is getting calls from random, heartbroken women). In between fucking on cramped single mattresses and couches and supply closets in HQ, they had never known the luxury of a bed that could fit the both of them. He had thought it’d be a nice change, if he ever had the chance again.
OR: nakahara chuuya falls in love, christens every part of yokohama, gets together with his ex-partner, and participates in a prison break. in that order, more or less.
