He rolls his eyes. “Don’t flatter yourself-”
“I’m being serious,” she cuts him off, then continues with more enthusiasm. “Why don’t we do something else? Go see a movie? Watch a concert? Hey, why don’t you play piano for me again-”
“No,” Soul says. He stares her down, daring her to refute him.

Jing Yuan grabs Dan Heng’s arm and drags him off to the back of the bar without another word, walking quickly as he dodges patrons with easy familiarity. As Dan Heng’s sudden and visceral rage is wearing off, his mind starts to clear and he realises what’s just happened.
“Did you just call him A-Wen?”
Jing Yuan makes sure the bathroom door closes before he sighs. “I did, and you just foiled my evening plans and almost assaulted an innocent man.”
“No,” Dan Heng says.
“Yes,” Jing Yuan corrects.
Dan Heng accidentally cockblocks Jing Yuan at the local bar in the middle of his hook up.
