one of the best to EVER do it!!!
god, i hardly even know what to say, this fic just pulls everything off it set out to accomplish with aplomb. i've enjoyed this fic for a long time and have been way overdue in giving it its due praises... rereading this is always a joy. multiple smut scenes in various positions and couplings and the pacing is still immaculate. fantastic character work which presents such fascinating insights on each duo's dynamic (which the third always feels excluded from or else not privy to enough information to truly understand!) the subtle but unignorably persistent sense of there just being something very off about this situation, culminating in those final few passages which drop on you like lead! and apollo is so pathetic in this but in a really cute and hot way (his most recurring sexual fantasy is literally to suck his boss's dick. so, so, so true.)
this fic is a treasure and i am so happy to recommend it :-)

if you have any interest in krispollo at all, sticky sugar is a must-read. the 3rd person limited apollo pov was a fantastic choice for this fic; i really enjoy the total ambiguity of kristoph's motivations here and trying to puzzle them out for myself has made me return to this fic many times over. just so much to think about in the span of 2.2k words, which to me is the mark of a very good short story. in contrast, apollo's motivations are of course all laid out, but that he offers kristoph sexual favours in repayment out of guilt from his sense of indebtedness, is rewarded further because kristoph is flattered by this, and then feels indebted-guilt for the reward and redoubles his efforts to repay him... it's so compelling to watch this cycle play out and imagine it going on like this, and satisfying to read something so congruent with my personal understanding of these characters and how an inappropriate workplace relationship would play out between them, as in emotionally/psychologically, that is... the sex itself is also all the better for the situation the narration paints for them

masterpiece! every single moment spent reading this was so much fun. so many exhilarating battles with such careful attention to detail about how competitive pokemon 6v6 singles is played. lots and lots of references to canon as well as smogon-type stuff, some overt, some subtle, the latter kind made me feel the type of joy i imagine a rodent does when it tears apart a cardboard tube and finds sweet potato inside every time. toril's final, mystery pokemon was my very favourite twist, executed with aplomb as was everything else about this work, and made me very happy :-)...
there's no other game like competitive pokemon. i feel that many resent its extreme amount of luck-based elements, seeing them as obstacles barricading the way toward a game where the more skilled player walks away with the win every time, but even though it's kind of ass as a competitive game i wouldn't want to live in the world where hydro pump never misses and shadow ball never drops spdef. well, maybe i could bear to live in the one where scald doesn't proc its 30% burn. hahaha. i haven't played or kept up with this scene in a long time now, but this fic made me remember what i loved so much about it
this story's words sing and sing and sing. please give them a listen. where will you be when the world ends?

fantastic fic that captures the uniquely very grim tone (amongst dragon ball media) of The History of Trunks OVA/future trunks' timeline in general and expands on it with heavy themes of struggle for autonomy against the expectations of you that your predecessors have set, intentionally or otherwise. the experience of reading this feels much like observing the behaviour of three starving rats trapped in a small enclosed area with only each other for company. 17 is highly entertaining both to watch and just to think about, and despite his actions it's easy to feel bad for him too. terrible situation for everybody. please give this a read

my very favourite logh fic. the characterisation is impeccable. in particular i like the way that reinhardt's flirting game is so bad because he'd known his only boyfriend since they were both like 8 so this is actually still new for him. if logh allowed its characters to have the gay sex we all know they're having, this is exactly precisely how i imagine reinyang would go
