Summary
Jiro can pretend to hate it so much he could gag, stick his tongue out and go blegh in Saburo’s face just to piss him off, but the truth is he’s grown partial to Saburo and all the bullshit he says, whether he likes it or not. And because of that, for better or for worse, Jiro can’t really do anything about how often his little brother crosses his mind. Even when he’s doing the most mundane of things, like looking for his earphones in the junk in his schoolbag on a Friday afternoon after class.

Summary
Jiro’s delinquent tendencies have never landed him in trouble serious enough for him to be brought to a police station, but the immense anxiety he feels rising in his chest now after Juto’s asked him a question he doesn’t know the answer to is how he guesses being taken in for questioning would feel, and it— feels fuckin’ frightening. He’s glad it’s unfamiliar, but it’s still extremely uncomfortable; if nothing else, Jiro knows he has no real obligation to answer, because this is just a café, and this meeting is just his luck— he doesn’t have to say anything. He only breaks eye contact in favor of pretending Juto’s presence hadn’t been unnerving him since the onset.
