And Connor knows he shouldn’t—because he’s a good person. Or at least, he’s trying to be a good person, and everything about Hudson makes him want to throw it all away. He knows that he would be the biggest hypocrite if he invited him over, especially after doing a poor fucking job of ignoring him all night. He’s going to come over and Connor is going to want to quit his job and run back home with his tail between his legs as soon as Hudson even smiles at him. He’s going to make Connor laugh the way he always does, wrap his pretty fingers around his wrist like a brand to tug him closer when he complains about how cold it is outside.
