Shane blinked. “Yeah, it’s the closest to the rink so a lot of the guys on my team are there. How did you…?”
“I see you there before”, Ilya shrugged. “You are hard to miss.”
“Oh. Right, well..” Shane’s brain was short circuiting, unable to provide him with an appropriate response to whatever the rugby player had meant by that. He got up to leave.
“I am in Molson, so nearby”, said Ilya, seemingly unfazed by Shane’s social faux pas, “will see you around”. He winked and Shane made a beeline for the exit, hiding the blush that was spreading steadily across his face.

After an incident with Ilya Rosanov's college rugby team in Boston, he's forced to transfer to McGill where he meets Shane Hollander, star of the Redbirds Hockey team.
