    In the spring of 1993, Ray Toro buys a brand new Nikon N90 film camera, puts a set of electric blue polyurethane wheels on her beat up old Powell Peralta board, and starts hanging out in the courtyard behind the youth centre at 331 Somerset Street. She’s looking for models for the photography portfolio she’ll probably never finish. She finds Frank Iero and Tucker Rule, an enigmatic pair of not-quite-girlfriends who immediately tug her into their world of fast stunts, loud music, and free love.

    A story about learning to see and be seen, to listen and be heard, to give love and let yourself receive it in return—even if it doesn’t look conventional.
