Mobius thought all Loki had to do was hang up his guns to earn a peaceful life, but if he ran off now, he would always be on guard, no matter where he went.
But you’d have someone to watch your back, came the voice in his head that sounded very much like a certain silver-haired sheriff.
Holed up with his gang, Loki finds his thoughts returning time and time again to the man he has been trying not to think of since their last parting.

Mobius felt something brush one wrist, something scratchy and kinda familiar, but then Loki’s tongue traced the outer edge of his ear. He only realized what the sensation had been when the rope tightened. He tried pulling away, but his wrist was caught tight. A moment later, Loki had it twisted up behind his back.
“You know, I had considered hogtying you but that would make my plans a little difficult,” Loki said, his lips still by Mobius’ ear.
Mobius’ heart thundered in his chest as he wondered if this was the moment Loki finally ended their game.
