“A what—”
“And, uh, in my previous life, we dated,” Mark continues. “Apparently.”
There’s silence on the other end of the phone.

for some reason it won't save my kudos but oh my god TT i loved this fic SO MUCH!!
i love slowburn because the progression of the relationship just feels so much more natural!! and god, minho's characterization was SO GOOD. the way minho just completely accepted jisung's lil quirks that he had because of his anxiety, and the way he didn't mind or didn't make a big deal out of jisung's anxiety medication... it was such a small moment in the entirety of this fic but it really Spoke y'know? the way jisung talked about his anxiety as well, it was so real and honest and i definitely related to it. safe to say i'm rereading this fic again soon

So maybe that’s why he said it. It was true that he didn’t have time for dating with graduation so soon, but he definitely didn’t have time to disappoint Dahyun, who patted the top of his dad’s head like they were teenagers, Dahyun who managed to place an uncharacteristic pink blush across his dad’s cheeks.
“I’m dating someone,” he’d said.
And without further question or doubt, Dahyun replied, “Oh, then bring him to scary movie night with you. If in the horror movie of our life we decide he dies later than your dad, I approve.”

Being bound to your soulmate by the sense of taste isn't the worst thing in the world, although if you were to ask Lee Minho he would strongly disagree. In his opinion it's nothing short of a cosmic joke that he, someone who can't stand lemons, has his taste buds permanently linked to someone who loves them.

god i adored this fic SO MUCH
all the other soulmates aus are, just as any other fanfiction, very overromanticized but this one? this one felt so real, and it felt like everything was just so, so realistic. the conversation jisung and minho had felt like a REAL one. it was so so great. AAAA i loved this fic !!!
