Kacchan slides a very familiar letter across the table to him and asks, “What the fuck is this?”
Izuku really feels like he’s about to explode.
Because that letter is possibly the culmination of the biggest feelings he’s ever had: love, and all of it for Kacchan.
Izuku wrote it at thirteen. When he knew that his best friend since diapers would never return the feelings, but Izuku felt like they were so heavy they needed to be shared.
He wrote the letter, poured his aching, crushing tween heart out onto two and a half pages of college ruled notebook paper, and addressed it in his best calligraphy. To: Kacchan. Izuku remembers his thirteen year old self debating before adding on a little explosion sticker.
Now, at seventeen, he’s debating the pros and cons of jumping out of the nearest window.
OR: Izuku writes Katsuki a love letter. 4 years later, Katsuki receives it. Izuku is still very much in love with him, and Katsuki is very much not.

He was thrown into the freezing mud, chest heaving as his air left him. Izuku tried to get up but the beast sat down on top of him, crushing him below its weight as a clawed hand grabbed his neck pushing him back into the dirt.
“WAIT! No no please!” He choked out, hands wrapping around the other's thick wrist.
Kicking his legs to try and free himself he cried out when the nails dug deeper into his flesh, blood bubbling up beneath their tips.
“Shut the fuck up.” The beast growled, his deep voice sending shivers up Izuku's spine as he froze. “ Do you ever stop talking?” It spat, the mask coming down only an inch away from his own face.

He also doesn’t listen, either, but nobody’s really shocked. Least of all Izuku, who’s as bad at following his own suggestion as Katsuki nobody-touches-my-nerd-except-me.

Deku stepped out, his green hair sticking to his forehead. He didn't even acknowledge Katsuki at first but instead ran a hand through his messy curls as he took a slow breath, clearly trying to cool down. But then Katsuki's gaze flicked down, and his eyes widened in disbelief.
He was wearing—what is that? His jaw nearly hit the floor.
That nerd was wearing shorts. Those ridiculous, way-too-short shorts that did nothing but show off way too much of his legs, his thighs, and the stupid way his muscles flexed.Or: They're roommates. Katsuki just can't stop looking at Izuku like an idiot.
